A great, convenient locale which trades as a computer repair store; a store that buys and sells laptops and is also a high quality and fast Internet Cafe with cheap printing facilities. The rates are fairly cheap; we are talking about $2 for 20 minutes use of the Internet; not unlike paying the same amount for only half the time. And the loyalty system is quite good here as well. Regardless of how long you are on the Internet at any given moment; a minimum of 20 minutes is best to get your money's worth; for every five visits you earn credits to ensure that your sixth visit in using the Internet here is free of charge. Overall great value and prompt, friendly service. The same person is in all the time (he could be the owner) yet he always stops what he is doing at any given moment to look after each and every customer which is good to see; it is fantastic.

Make no bones about it, this is a hardcore gamers internet zone. 'Obviously!' I hear you say. 'Have a look at the place's name.' Fair point but now at least nobody else on Yelp! won't make the same mistake. As you walk into Cydus the first thing that hits you is how dark it is. It is almost pitch black and the luminous screen lighting is all you can see by. The second thing that hits you is how quiet it is, everybody is wearing headphones, playing games, not talking. The third thing that hits you is that this place is expensive (in internet terms) at $3.30 an hour for non-members. It's $2.20 for members and membership costs $10. Most internet places are creepy, but walking in here from broad daylight is just weird. A world I don't want to know about or become involved in. If you're a gamer you'll probably love it, if you're looking to check your emails go somewhere else.

I took my cards and went to iCue in Lonsdale street. I pre-paid each hour at iCue. Had a great time there and would recommend iCue over this dump. Don't waste your time with this place. It's obvious they don't want customers. When you treat your customers like criminals they will go somewhere else.
