The soap is great! It doesn't have a film feel and smells wonderful. I feel very clean every time I use it. Website is very user friendly!

With nature being her inspiration, Kim Thompson creates unique, beautiful, heirloom quality…read morejewelry. Hand forged from sterling silver, many pieces have turquoise and or rosarita (red colored) stones inlaid. Definitely a soohistboho vibe. She makes earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings. I particularly love the silver feather earrings, they really stand out and can be worn daily or to dress up an outfit. Also love the earrings that feature an eagle. And anything with turquoise, my favorite color and stone! Wild Heart Wares has a booth at the Hood River Farmers Market where you can see her jewelry up close, talk with the designer, and try things on. I fell in love with a pair of turquoise inlaid earrings with sterling fringe dangling and made the mistake of not buying them right then and there. Came back the next week and they were gone. I showed Kim the picture I had thankfully taken, and she said that in January, when things are slower, she will do a custom order. Kim is delightful and has so much passion about her craft and the beauty all around us. If you love sterling silver and nature inspired pieces, definitely visit this booth at the Hood River Farmers Market Saturdays 9-1pm. There is also a website so you can purchase jewelry 24/7.

I also got a few different strands of beaded necklaces. Also very well made and thought out by Kim. You can tell by the color combos. I highly recommend her pieces and I look forward to being a return customer! Candace in Austin, TX

In fact, it might be closer to say that Daiso is what you get when an Ikea, and a high-quality Japanese budget retailer get together and make a baby. There may be a lot of fluff and effluvia here, but there are also a lot of useful, down-to-earth, inexpensive home goods here that put anything you can find in an American retailer, for a comparable price, to shame. It's nice to have a shop that sells useful, elegant, quality goods at reasonable prices, a niche in which the Japanese uniquely excel. First-time Daiso shoppers may experience a slight bit of culture shock at having to convert prices from yen to dollars, but once they're hooked on all the wonderful, useful and inexpensive goods for sale here, that unfamiliarity will be fleeting. In particular, categories such as organization, kitchenware, stationery and home goods are not only cheaper here, they are more durable, useful, clever, and long-lasting. I would take anything purchased at a Daiso over any Walmart product, hands-down, any day of the week. They are simply not comparable. If you are simply one of the few who are unlucky enough to find a defective product, oh no...you're out a buck fiddy. Try again with something else. The thing about Japan, and Japanese culture, is they are relentless in their pursuit of perfection, which also includes innovation at absurdly cheap prices. Daiso is a reflection of this, and anyone who has ever been to Japan (myself included, multiple times) can attest to this: it's in their very nature. Their "worst effort" is often on-par with some of our "best". So sit back, relax, and enjoy this very limited presentation of some of their more modest offerings. And when you are starting to become convinced of their superior way of thinking, manufacturing, organizing, and presentation...feel free to delve deeper, and enjoy what you find. When you do, I'll see you at Uwajimaya.
