The employee stocking the area came less than an inch away from touching me four repeated times. I think moved across the store to the towel section where two employees loudly blocked my exit from the aisle. I then saw the employee that I had moved away from. Then I moved to the art section where the man who I believe must of been the manager was lingering. I then moved to the blanket/throw section, I left my cart at the end of the row, to which a different employee moved my cart out into the aisle and left it. I shopped some more and encountered more employees. At check out the cashier stopped once she was almost done and told me that she needed to rescan my entire transaction. She then did not hand me my receipt at the end to which I had to take it. She then proceeded to shout all the way to the end of the checkout row to where she was. At the end of the checkout stand, as I went towards the door, two employees were blocking the exit. They were having a discussion with one of their friends at the exit. This is the most uncomfortable shopping experience I have had at a store. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and that due to the employees, I was unable to shop peacefully. They were highly unprof

I am not a a Shabby Chic, whitewash lots of items kind of gal who likes to decorate with Paris inspired pieces. But after realizing I was giving way too many people on the streets of Chicago a free peep show of me in underwear I decided it was time to invest in blinds. And like most things in our life (groceries, tvs, and even auto insurance) my husband and I turned to Costco. Costco has a deal with Custom Decorators when it comes to blinds. I gave my info to one of Costco's employees standing in the blind section and about 2 days later I was greeted with a call from Wayne at Custom Decorators, my very own blind decorator! After playing phone tag for a few days Wayne and I set up an appointment so he could come by and tell me my options. I already had my heart set on wood blinds, but when Wayne showed up he convinced me wood blinds would be too dark for our loft style condo and said we should consider the duette honeycomb shades instead. And then he gave me an estimate of $3000 for 5 large windows- my husband pretty much choked when he heard the price. A few days later I called Wayne back and told him I liked the look of the shades he suggested, but I had a budget of $1500 for blinds and to provide me with options within my price range. He came by again and gave us a similar option- the only difference pretty much being that the cord was longer for the less expensive blinds. And for a savings of $1500 we can deal with a long cord! We placed our order and a few weeks later received a call that our blinds were in and needed to be installed! Thank goodness- no more peep shows for the neighbors! My only complaint is that when they called to set up the installation they had me believing that the entire process would take about an hour. While the installer who showed up was very nice and knowledgeable about the blinds it took more like 4 hours, which caused me to miss a few meetings I had planned for later in the day. 2 days later we're enjoying the new shades and I'm guessing the neighbors are grateful as well....

I have NEVER been so frustrated, disappointed, inconvenienced and disgusted with the lack of communication, trust, customer support, communication or workmanship that this company (Custom Decorators: 8100 SW Nyberg St, Tualatin, OR 97062) has put us through. I am contacting my credit card company to see if there is anything I may do to recoup any money but fear that the time delay tactics they have used may have effectively screwed my chances. DO NOT call JC PENNEY for custom window design services or CUSTOM DECORATORS out of Tualatin, Oregon...I have been fighting with them since May 16, 2025 when I paid the invoice in full (today is September 21, 2025) and the drapery order has still not been completed satisfactorily.
