Drove around LA with a friend to find a place to pierce our ears with no luck, but finally stumbled upon this gem which happened to be just down the street from where we lived! We walked in around 25 minutes before they closed, yet we were still greeted with lots of enthusiasm. I was afraid we were going to be treated like "those people" who come in to a business very close to their closing time, but Felicity was more than happy to take us in. I got my helix done with no pain whatsoever, and it's healing super well! She explained how to take care of it, and she pierced with a longer piece of jewelry to allow space for swelling, which means I would need to come back in 2 weeks to fit a shorter stud, but I don't mind because the environment is just so welcoming. I came here recently to get some piercings done. Felicity was awesome. She had given me another piercing a few years ago on Friday the 13th and she was still as friendly as I remembered. I have never had a better piercing experience. The piercer (I forget her name) was extremely professional and patient. I was very indecisive and came in at closing time, and it took me twenty minutes to get in the chair, but the piercer was SO patient and sweet. She respected my boundaries, gave me all the info she could, and answered all my questions with a genuine interest in helping. She also has a very beautiful snake in the piercing room which helped calm me down enough to get pierced (it's pretty big, so if you have a fear, I would steer clear). The actual piercing was quick and gentle- she talked me through the whole process and told me everything she was going to do. So I had a tattoo done about 5 months ago and in the beginning the healing looked weird. I Loved the jnitial work but as time went on, the tat was looking really faded and just disappointed. I was told by the artist, Felicity, that it was normal. Fast forward to a couple months later the color looks so faded and mottled. When I asked her to fix it, she still wanted me to pay $60 for the "shop fee". Although she is friendly and nice, I honestly I don't think I should pay if it was a poor job done or poor quality ink, whatever the case may be. A 5 month old tattoo shouldn't look like it's a 5 year old tattoo. I have a couple other colored tattoos that aren't as faded as this. My inner ankle is hardly ever exposed to sunlight and I moisturize every day yet it still looks mediocre. read more

My usual piercer was out of town so I decided to come here and I regret it 100%. I went in for a nose piercing and it's just terrible. My nose ring keeps going in the hole. You pay an extra $15 for a stud (which is still ugly) and the girl who did it was super rude. Her friend came in while I was paying and she stopped paying attention to me to talk to her friend. I went to get a second tongue piercing. I was given no paperwork to sign, my ID was not photocopied, merely glanced at. I asked for the piercing to be behind the one i already have. The girl made a mark on my tongue, i said it was too close to my current piercing and i wanted it further back. She said she would do that. She did not have me rinse with mouthwash even though i had asked for it because i had just eaten. They use plastic clamps instead of metal and it kept sliding off my tongue, so she did the piercing free-hand. Big mistake! It came out extremely crooked and practically on top of the piercing i already had - she made no effort to put it behind like i had asked. I was so disappointed. Such a waste of $40. Needless to say, i'll never be going here again. Edit: I contacted the owner of the shop and he was completely understanding. He offered me a refund or a proper redo on the piercing. I appreciate his kindness very much, hence why I've upped the rating to 3 stars instead of 1. read more
