I've been a patient for a while now, with that being said I arrived home last night from the west coast to find a very offensive letter in the mail waiting for me. This letter is telling me that I've missed multiple and multiple appointments, and that if I don't want to really be there I don't have to so they will stop seeing me! I must say I'm glad that this dentist is showing his true colors! The fact that letter was not entirely true but also the maturity of it was ridiculous! Technically the entire time I have been with this dentist I have missed two appointments one being I was on the international trip, the second was at the end of last month. I had an appointment for a cleaning and I was eight minutes behind schedule because of traffic on SomCenter Road when I arrived I can feel the attitude from one receptionist in particular they took me back did x-rays but did not do the cleaning because and I quote I was eight minutes late and they only have 45 minutes with me so I said no problem I will be back the following week to get my cleaning done and I also had a small cavity. Well I have just received horrible news that there was a death in my immediate family I took off did not think about canceling this appointment because as any normal human being that would be the last thing on their mind! So again I find it very rude and offensive to have such a nasty derogatory letter in my now waiting for my arrival after a week and a half of hell that I have been through. And by the way I have even paid for my services before I left the office building to take care of the cavity and it will not be fixed by this dentist as he made it clear he does not want me as a patient which is totally fine! Again he comes off as a great doctor to begin with but just make sure nothing happens in your life that you can't control and be sure no matter what to give them a call even if it's a life changing experience happening in your life you must call them or you will get a nasty letter and they will turn on you like you were just the person from the streets. All of you at that practice should be ashamed of yourself! And look how he tries to blast me out for speaking the truth! BTW DR. Stern you don't have my permission to talk about details out certain visits! HIPPA Buddy! You can say what You wish but don't you EVER talk about my visits! You're clearly one liar! It's funny how you say I've missed multiple appointments! Why don't you be real and tell people how you and your staff really are! Assholes!

This helps me to be more relaxed and not worried. Today, I had my first ultrasonic cleaning and what a difference. Although you get a little wet () it really helps remove the built up tartar / plaque a lot easier. Thank you "Alla" for your professional background and bringing this procedure to the office. When I tried to get an appointment, the receptionist said it would be in three months. At that point I decided to try a new dentist since I was also unhappy with the quality of his work. Emerald dental care scheduled an appointment within three weeks. They would have taken me sooner but I was waiting till the next calendar year. The dentist cemented the crown after thoroughly cleaning it. So far after five months I have not had any issues with it. Also, I have found their billing to be very reasonable. Since my first appointment, I have had a cleaning and another crown repair on a different tooth. I am very satisfied.

They seem to always remember you no matter how long it's been. Dr. Weiss is super gentle and always mindful of any pain you may be feeling. Because of this, I have never had a negative experience while in his chair. The dentistry technology at this office is impressive and up-to-date. Not all dentists in the area offer the same modern methods as Dr. Weiss. The office itself is modern and comfortable. There are TVs, magazines, and a coffee machine in the reception area. The work areas are clean, organized, and the dentist chair is comfortable. Dr. Weiss is very knowledgeable, thorough, and detailed with his work. For example, he repaired a broken tooth of mine with a crown and was dedicated to adjusting it as many times as I needed until it felt perfect. So I'll tell you two things about her practice that are not subjective. First of all, the various forms of payment she accepts are posted on a window in the waiting room, so you know before you see her what she'll take for payment. I took a photo of that window and have posted it here to Yelp. Second, when I saw her about a problem I was having with an old cap and root canal done by my former dentist, she took the time to sit next to me and drew on some scrap paper to illustrate what was going on with that tooth so I could follow along with her explanation. My former dentist didn't do that and I found this extra step very helpful. One more thing about Emily - her employees love her. My husband is a chatty guy and got to talking with the staff during his first appointment at Emily's office. He was told that she bought the practice from another dentist who retired (not the same guy I saw for 20 years) and they really like her better than the previous guy! I don't think they knew George and Emily were book club buddies, and the compliments were totally unsolicited.

I've known her for a while now, and after needing her help as a dentist, discovered that her dentistry skills are super impressive, as is her thoughtfulness, professionalism and ability. Her staff has these same qualities, and overall, for my part, I'm her patient for life. I recently had a dental emergency where I lost a whole crown. Dr. Weitz got me in fast, took stock of things and got me set up with a temporary crown and told me I'd have a new one inside of a week! Not only that, and this impressed me a lot, I got a numbing injection in my gum...and didn't even feel it! Now that, folks, is talent! As I said, not only is Dr. Weitz great, but so is her staff; they were kind, thoughtful and very helpful and skilled as well. (The lady who helped to shape my new temp tooth was really amazing and fast.) Overall, if you're looking for a great dentist who'll treat you as a person and listen to your concerns, then you'll get the tooth, the whole tooth, and nothing but the tooth from Dr. Emily Weitz and Staff!!
