We also rented an Airbnb with an indoor heated pool just down the street in Spring Grove, which made the the weekend amazing. We went tubing first and then fun in the pool afterward. It turned into an awesome day and a really fun experience overall!

This review is only for the tubing portion of Wilmot…read more For a relatively flat geography, Wilmot is able to provide a decent tubing experience. There are several adjacent, straight runs (apparently 22, but not all utilized on our warm February day) which provide a decent and safe velocity for young and old alike. There's a conveyor/escalator type of tow that allows tubers to stand and hold their tube to get up the hill. Here's the downside... $55 for 2 hours is steep! Especially for the lack of variety in slope. The food and souvenirs are also way overpriced and it feels unreasonable for a large family to pay to go tubing here. Based on the prices online, it would be better to get a lift ticket and ski rental and have the day to ski, than to pay for 2 hours of tubing. I still recommend Wilmot for the experience. For my neighbors in the Chicago suburbs, it is a nice change of pace for a winter activity.

They have different sections for sportswear for men and sportswear for women. In the men's section you can find a lot of good quality and branded clothes for your boyfriend, brother, father, and for your friends. They are organized and every type and color of clothes are separated to each other so it's easy to find. In the women section it is also organized well. I'm happy that every piece of clothing that I will look at is here.  I went to the shoe section and it had a lot of shelves with different kinds of shoes. Even though the shelves are not full of stock, it has been organized. They have different sizes and colors of shoes. You can also ask the staff about the sizes. Don't worry, the staff are helpful. Try to shop here because the shoes are durable and comfortable to wear.

I have been to this store several times over the past few years. When I went to Europe I got some…read morecool pants with zip off legs from this Columbia store. This was especially useful when traveling in Europe as they don't allow shorts in the churches. Most of the time I wore shorts. When I needed to wear pants I just zipped on the legs and viola. I also bought a real nice winter coat w/an insulated thermal liner. Just an add I just went to The Mall of America & bought a new Columbia winter coat for $240 minus 25% for $180 w/no sales tax in Minnesota on clothes. Out the door for $180. Great deal right? NOT SO FAST!!!! I found the exact same coat here for $219 on sale for $40% off w/5.5% sales tax in WI. $219 X 60% = $131.40 X 5.5% (WI sales tax) = $138.63 out the door Sheeeet $180 - $138.63 = $41.37 difference & a 1hr drive to Kenosha WI vs 8hr to The Mall of America (NEVER AGAIN) 4 tanks of gas and a night in the hotel added to the cost.

He took a prop out of the box that was right for my engine and showed me how to fit it with the hub and discussed with me the relative merits of an aluminum versus stainless steel. He knew what he was talking about and I ended up with exactly the prop I needed and some dock line. I felt perfectly confident in his advice and he never tried to up-sell me with things I didn't need. A great person and a great store. Thank you West Marine in Fox Lake! I only wish I had gotten his name.

I'm going to South America later this year so I'm trying to find an inexpensive light weight waterproof jacket or poncho. They have a number of jackets that are waterproof & windproof but I find spending anywhere from $160 - $300 for a single use jacket excessive. I'm thinking maybe a poncho that can roll up into a tiny pouch & be attached to a carabiner might be a good idea & far less expensive. This would also save luggage space?
