It was purchased for Pride 2023, but the clasp needed some love. The were wonderful. They oohed and aaahed for a moment which made me feel good, then they took straight to the back and fixed It. They brought it back and said "yep, it was loose." I asked how much and they said no charge. I was wowed. This amazing shop fixed my bracelet, that I didn't even buy from them for free.. This is how you lure people back in to buy your beautiful jewelry. These folks are great. They always greet you with a smile and are always so helpful. I'm so glad they live so close to me. Stephen's store is also in a very good location downtown, where parking isn't to hard to find, since it's not right in the mix of things (ie Nordstroms area). His shop is intimate and lovely and he has a very nice selection of baubles. He also helps design jewelry. Multiple friends of mine had him help with their wedding rings and bands and they are incredibly happy with his work. That said, he is who I will go to if I ever get so lucky.

I went mining for Oregon sunstones in southern Oregon just for the thrill of it, and came back with some stuff I thought might be worth cutting. Lisa took the time to look through my collection and recommended five to send off for cutting. She had them cut to standard sizes, max karat weight, and they turned out beautifully. But wait, there's more! She also helped me pick out a couple of cabochon settings once I decided which two I wanted to make into necklaces. I decided on a red one for my mom and a schiller one for me. I picked the gold colors and settings and when they came back they were absolutely stunning! This was such a fun and unique experience for me, and Lisa was helpful, friendly, and just plain fun to hang out with during the entire 10-week process. I learned a lot and I'm so glad I did it. We purchased an engagement ring and band from her with the thought that, as the main setting was from the 1940's, that the metal was bent along the right hand side. We decided to get that fixed with our regular jeweler at a later time, but left the ring with her and her bench jeweler to size it. After he proposed (about six months after the ring was purchased) we took the ring to have it looked over as I would begin to wear it every day. It was at that time we found out the ring had a HUGE chip in the main stone. A chip so large Antoinette should not only have mentioned it (she didn't), she should have noted it on the receipt, and - quite frankly - should not even have been selling it. The stone is actually worthless. Not "worth less" as in less than we paid, but complete garbage. As we purchased during COVID - and trusted her - we did not look at the ring through a loupe before buying it. We spent four hours in the store looking at rings ranging from a couple thousand dollars to $15,000. As an aside, the runner up ring was $11k or $13k and, had we known about the chip, that would have very easily been the sale/"the one." Since the refusal of our jeweler (and many others) to reset the stone to hide the crack or re-cut the stone (it's already small) - we have asked her numerous times to make it right. Thus far the only offer is to swap it for a ring with a smaller stone (that isn't chipped) but not part of a set. This review is mostly moot as she is not in business anymore - but I feel it is necessary as someone who touts herself as a small business jeweler who loves her customers and her pieces is clearly a fraud. The ring is junk, I hate looking at it, I have zero recollection of a positive buying experience, and honestly wish we had never set foot in her store. There are *tons* of online stores that specialize in old Euro cut and old mine cut stones that allow for returns and who are more than happy to make things right. Buy from them instead.
