Came in to Ari diamonds for a custom ring and to fix a broken necklace. Whole process was super quick and easy. The broken necklace was fixed in an hour and pricing was super reasonable. The whole custom process was great! Scott and his team was very fast and communicated constantly. Super pleased with my experience and will be back! read more

My mom and I came in to have rings resized. It was our first time there even though we've seen it a lot over the years driving by. Scott is super friendly. They did a great job resizing and were knowledgeable. I went in on a Friday afternoon, and our jewelry was ready on Monday. Very pleased! Would go back again. read more

I needed to solder my wedding ring to its band. The band is platinum, so I was concerned about the price. After calling five different jewelers in my area, I decided on Ari Diamonds as they only charged 1/5 (yes, you read this correctly) of the price of the others and had many positive reviews on Yelp. I was not disappointed! I have had other jewelry repaired before, but the care with which my ring was soldered was top quality. I will never go anywhere else to have any jewelry repaired or repurposed. This is the only place you need to go! Five+ stars! read more

Very good customer service. Quick turn time on my repair. Amazing value for the work done.

I had a custom ring that I wanted to add a "wow" factor but could not really verbalize what I wanted. Scott was so patient walking me thru the various options and we finally settled on texturizing it using engraving. I was quite nervous waiting to get my ring back as I've not work with Scott nor his store before. Well, My husband knew how I felt when we went to pick it up and I let out a "AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!". He told me that I found my new custom jeweler!!! I L.O.V.E. the ring now. I wish I had a before picture to show the difference the change made. I highly recommend Ari Diamonds. The people were just as amazing as their work. read more

The fixed my necklace in one day for only $25. Great service and a great price. I wish I had gone there years ago.

Great service, wonderful design skills. Made an excellent guard for an antique wedding ring. Have had wonderful after purchase service for cleaning and adjustments. read more

I had three rings I was looking to enlarge. Got competitive quotes, and Ari's pricing was best. Scott gave me confidence with his attention to detail. Quick turnaround and a fair price. But wait, this is the best part. My husband recently replaced his wedding ring (purchased elsewhere), and the new band wasn't quite as great as he'd hoped. We requested a quote to modify the ring. Scott offered a thoughtful and professional solution; creating two contrasting gold bands above and below to add depth to the white gold band. A week later, ready for pick-up. Everything created and completed in house. Scott's ideas and execution were fantastic. We LOVE the ring. Resizing of mine were perfect. To say we both were pleased with the results is a vast understatement. Scott does great work, definitely recommend. read more

The folks here are friendly and courteous. However ... I had a few (standard, small) silver links added to a piece, and was quoted a price for additional work. I hesitated and was told by the gentleman helping me that the high price reflected the current "very high" price of silver. I looked this up later and found that Ari's markup and/or charge for labor is very, very high. So all in all will not return for any work there. read more

Couldn't be happier with the ring Scott custom made for my fiancé. We wanted something unique that we couldn't find elsewhere and after meeting with him we knew right away he was the perfect person to create it. We could tell he was passionate about his work and we had a great time working with him thru the process. We originally planned to buy my ring online, but after working with him on my fiancés ring we decided we wanted to have him help create my ring as well. His work is amazing and his prices are very fair! read more

Ari Diamonds - Jewelry Near Me - Portland, Oregon

Our experience with Ari was everything I'd expect with no fluff. We needed a diamond ring resized. They offered a quote before they saw it and said it would only take a day or two, depending on when we brought it in. When I brought it in they stood by their quote and turned it around in a day. And their fees were less than most folks. Looking at it, you'd never know it was a different size. And they cleaned it like it was new. Super friendly people as well. read more

We had a great experience here. I thought the prices were more than reasonable. The turn around was faster than promised. I think the prices were much better than the big stores & they will do custom work. read more

Damn. This is the right one. Look look look then bam. That's it. Polish the edges. Round em out and it will be perfect. Wait, I thought we were talking about rings here. Ha. Both. Rings and queens come together in our minds eye. Thank you Scott for taking the extra time and being an easy operator. While I appreciate the good folks at places like Fred Meyer's they really can't hold a candle stick to the good feeling that I get from Scott and his pops read more

My experience with Scott at Ari Diamonds was off the charts great. Response time for the quote beat the 2 hour turn around time by far. As soon as I walked in, I was treated with the same commitment of client service and priority as others in the shop. The consultation and plan were diligently crafted and well explained. I even learned that they have a laser technology that allows for more precise heat distribution (I think is what he said!). Overall experience was fantastic and the item was return far sooner than expected. read more

Took my ring in to sell told me it's worth aprox $3,000. Offered me $950. Yikes. Told me he has to make money on it. Told me to put it on Facebook marketplace. Ended up getting 5 k from an honest jewelry store. These people are ripping you off.. stay away !!!! read more

After visiting several big-name jewelers in the area and not finding exactly what we wanted, we stopped at Ari Diamonds on a whim after driving by it for decades. Scott was able to take example ideas and turn them into a custom ring with a larger central stone and for less then the other jewelers. The resulting ring was fantastic and we are very happy with it. I won't hesitate to recommend others check him out in the future. read more

Scott is one of the friendliest and informative jewelers you can ever meet! He worked with me patiently on designing my dream engagement ring. I knew exactly what I wanted, and couldn't be happier with the final product. Before you ask, I did shop around after receiving a quote from Scott. Since my ring has a lot of detailed features, one jeweler was not willing to design a custom ring from scratch UNLESS I spend an arm and a leg. Another claimed it was too "labor intensive" and suggested I buy a designer setting instead. Thank you, Scott, for your exceptional service. I will be back for more custom pieces! read more

This place is the best!!!! They dealt with my Fiance and me with a level of patience and understanding that went above and beyond. Can't recommend. Repair lasted from Tuesday til today. Wouldn't give me my back. Only 20 dollars. I told them to keep it. I read his review now blaming the customer for his poor repair work. His comments should make it clear he will attack the victim or customer in this case. Probably a batterer, it is clear he is a bully. Can't recommend the service or work on gold. read more

Scott and his team at Ari Diamonds went above and beyond to make our perfect wedding ring! He was honest and transparent throughout the process, making the task of designing custom/re-creating vintage so approachable. We came in with a pretty clear idea of the deco style that we wanted and he delivered it perfectly- complete with a great story and photos of the creation process to add to our memories of this special piece of jewelry. His design skills are spot-on and he was able to translate the photos we brought into perfect renderings. Along the way we were shown previous projects similar to ours, CAD renderings, wax models, and more. He was straight-forward about price and willing to work within a budget. The materials and craftsmanship are of the highest quality and the ring is exactly what I wanted. I have only a few suggestions if you are considering creating a custom piece with Ari Diamonds, but these likely apply to any other similar artisan. Allow for more time than you may expect. You choose custom because you have some particular expectations and while I remain positive that Ari Diamonds can deliver on them, give yourself time to enjoy the experience and arrive at your perfect piece of jewelry. Set a budget, but be prepared for it to cost slightly more. Scott was always clear with us regarding any charges and incredibly reasonable given the labor and resources that our project needed, but custom work is less predictable and some details may cost more than originally planned. Finally, set up clear lines of communication from the beginning. I would say that this shop is full of brilliant artisans and less perfect communicators so be prepared to check in from time to time. Again, I cannot recommend Ari Diamonds more. I am so happy with my ring and cannot thank them enough! read more

This guy is fantastic! So, I showed up 4 days before Christmas Eve. I was not optimistic that I would find anything. I was looking for a replacement "wear everyday" ring for my wife. (Her wedding set, while very nice, is not the greatest for day to day working, etc.) So, I told him this. he showed me the case. Nothing that worked. He suggested we design something. "If we do it now, I can have it for you Christmas Eve." NICE! He helped me design the ring to match my band. Great suggestion from Scott (Thanks, Scott!) We designed it up (took about 10 minutes), and we were on the way. Ring was done on time and looked great. But wait, there's more! Scott looked at the design, when finished and felt he might be able to improve the visibility of one element and make it look better. I picked up the ring on time. He told me to come back in a few days when the redesign was done to check it out, if I wanted to. (I did.) No charge to try to make me even happier. New design did just what he expected. Improved on what I had asked for and made the ring look even better. My wife loved it. He swapped out the ring at no additional charge. What a great experience! Cannot recommend this place enough. I am not a huge Yelper, but I thought I would be sure to give Scott a review. He was that great. Thanks, Scott! read more

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have worked with Scott and the Ari Diamonds team. My journey began in February when I took my grandmothers wedding band (a platinum ring with ten baguette diamonds in a bar setting) to another jeweler in California to have them re-tip the prongs and resize the band. What they ended up doing, to my utter dismay and horror, was actually change the setting entirely to a poorly done channel setting, complete with uneven platinum laid on both sides, a huge gap in one of the corners, and sloppy metalwork on the head of the ring. They also did a terrible job resizing, which I discovered after the shank began cracking within just a week of wear. Feel free to look at the pictures I uploaded on my profile under "Business Photo's", that will show how terrible the ring looked. After consulting with a number of other jewelers, it was obvious there was hardly any chance of undoing what was done - if I wanted to wear a ring that looked like my grandmothers, I would need to have one custom made. To say that I was crushed would be an understatement. Fast forward to July, I have relocated to Portland and am ready to find a reputable jeweler to create a custom ring identical to my grandmothers. Ari Diamonds stood out to me immediately because of all the great reviews, and not just on Yelp! but literally every other website I could find them on. Within just a few minutes of talking to Scott about my previous experience and what I was looking for, it was clear that my grandmothers ring was now in good hands. He was very attentive, asked a lot of clarifying questions to understand what I wanted, and he just seemed so excited to help me. Like, he genuinely couldn't wait to remake this beautiful and unique piece for me. Everything from emailing a CAD drawing, to creating a wax model, to completing the final product was done quickly and on time. I had only minor changes to make and Scott was more than happy to make them. I picked up my ring yesterday and I honestly couldn't be happier. It is exactly how I imagined it would be and I feel so, so relieved. Thank you to Scott and the Ari Diamonds team!! read more

Great family run shop, they'll work with you to design whatever you want or they have samples and software to help come up with ideas if you're not quite sure. It's not the cheapest option for all items since you do pay for upfront work and sample creation but for unique and higher end items it's an excellent deal and definitely worth investing the time. read more

Highly recommend Ari Diamonds! I visited several jewelers in Beaverton before deciding to work with Scott at Ari Diamonds, and am so glad I did. I immediately felt I could trust his work and his team, and the price was very reasonable, especially compared to some of the other jewelry stores. Scott and his team helped me design an engagement ring with a few heirloom gemstones of mine, and it turned out even more stunning than I could've imagined. Scott was very communicative and easy to work with, and the ring was completed very quickly (less than two weeks overall). read more

I happened upon Ari Diamonds solely because they're up the street from where I live. I went in because the band of my ring had broken; I hadn't shopped around and was expecting some crazy triple digit price tag to repair the ring I loved so. Low and behold, I met Scott and he explained to me in detail the pros/cons of two different methods of repair. Once we agreed on which to use he gave me a slight discount. And the price tag was only two digits!!! I was able to pick it up the next day and I am SO pleased with their work. I can't even tell it was repaired and my ring is round and shiny again, hooray! I will definitely return to and recommend these guys. read more

I wish I could give them 10 stars. I had a ring made and another resized and Scott was fantastic. He took the time to talk with me about what I wanted and show me options and my ring turned out beautifully. Very rude sales person. Tried to say you were closed 40 minutes early because it was dark outside. Very unprofessional.

Wow! So I have been meaning to write a review for awhile now... But, I am happy to say I am still just as amazed by my custom ring as I was 4 months ago. My husband and I came to Scott with an engagement ring I never wore and my Mom's original engagement ring that she no longer wore, with the impossible request to combine all the stones into a single band that would be comfortable to wear everyday (unlike my engagement ring that snagged on everything), beautiful, and different. My Mom and my Dad are still very happily married after 35 years, so I figure wearing her diamonds every day has to be good luck :). This is very special to me, and something I have wanted ever since my Mom gave me her ring and asked us to do something with it. I was amazed by the promptness, even after I said I was in no hurry (I had been waiting 5 years for this, I could wait a bit longer, right?). Of course, as soon as the process started, I was very excited and Scott had everything done in mere weeks! The ring is absolutely gorgeous, and extremely unique. I get asked about it all the time, and I love explaining the meaning behind it and the impressive experience I had with Ari Diamonds. How Scott got to the amazing design he did from an array of Pinterest pictures and senseless descriptions, I will never know, but he is a true artist! And to top it off, he reformed the gold from my Mom's ring into a separate band to wear on my right hand, so I literally have every piece of her original ring with me. He explained the pricing clearly, and broke down the cost of every little detail, which was very much appreciated (I know my husband was impressed by this too!). Definitely the place to go for custom jewelry! read more

Don't be fooled by this jewelry store in this unassuming building! Scott creates wonderful pieces. The detail work is exquisite. I love it! It's a family heirloom piece. read more

I just had my ring appraised. Scott was so helpful. Also just a very kind person. I will be returning to have a ring custom made.

Scott is a true artist- just looking around his showcases you can see how very talented he is. He also works with top of the line technology to create the perfect custom jewelry if that is what you'd prefer. I brought in an heirloom ring that needed the center stone reset. Within 24 hours he had the ring looking as good as new. I couldn't be happier and will be a customer of Scott's for years to come. He is incredibly personable and will undoubtedly be able to help you find or create the perfect piece. (also his price for custom pieces cannot be beat!) read more

My only regret about Ari Diamonds is that I didn't try them sooner! They're just down the hill from where I live, and what a great place! Very friendly staff & willing to do a couple repairs on items of minor dollar value, but of great personal worth. No project is too small or humble for them! I feel really good about the work they did to repair a key chain attachment, and I could tell they did a great job of restringing a necklace I brought to them. I highly recommend these folks! read more

We came in because my custom-made engagement ring had been constructed with a band that was far too thin, and getting a bit warped. The folks at Ari were amazing - they talked us through the various options for getting it bulked up, going through pros and cons of each, and finally making their specialized recommendation. I picked up my ring a week later and it is incredible: sturdy, beautiful, with no compromising any of the original design. They're a small, wonderful little shop. They really care about what they do, and do it well. read more

My one and only Portland jeweler! I came to Ari Diamonds 15 years ago with some loose diamonds and a few ideas. Scott was able to interpret what I wanted and created an absolutely gorgeous ring. This past month I decided I wanted to incorporate my original wedding band into the ring Scott had designed for me 15 years earlier, but I had no ideal how to make that happen. I returned to Ari Diamonds and Scott was able to take that old wedding band and blend it beautifully with the ring he had created 15 years earlier. I love it! Thank you Scott! read more

I went to Ari Diamonds after another jeweler had over polished my custom wedding ring. Scott oxidized it and restored it back to its original state and it came out perfect! Thanks Scott, you are awesome! read more

It saddens me to write this review because I am a small business owner myself and I pride myself in doing business with the "little guy". Scott's professionalism is lacking. I came into purchase a diamond for a setting I already had. He asked if it was for myself and I said no, it was for my girlfriend. His cheery, eager demeanor changed immediately. He then proceeded to bring out several uncertified diamonds and one that was nearly yellow. All of them well below the standard I gave him in my initial request. To make matters worse he burped. Yes, burped in my face. He said oops, there's that Costco hotdog for lunch. What did this kind of customer service get his company? Nothing. I went to Shane Co. in Tigard. Dropped $4500 on a certified diamond and got top notch service. Sad for Scott and his small business for not putting forth more effort and hiding his homophobic slant. I would have preferred to spend this kind of money with a small business. read more
