I had the pleasure of working with Clinic Director - Kyle Forbes for my first (and hopefully last) experience with sciatic nerve pain. I finally went in after aching for 2 weeks and having given up on sleeping. In addition to the painful ache, I was also having trouble lifting my right foot and leg. ...I wish I'd gone in sooner! I left the first hour-long appointment feeling infinitely better than when I'd walked in the door and having learned some very useful stretches, exercises, and ways to sleep to help keep me feeling better. After 2 sessions one week and 2 the next, I was essentially back to 'normal' and I have learned several specific stretches and exercises to help keep me that way. I couldn't be happier! Kyle is TERRIFIC! Not only is he smart, highly skilled and effective as a physical therapist; but, he is a great listener, a terrific teacher, and an interesting guy. It is very clear that Kyle's intent is to help people feel better and go back to their most functional, independent lives. He's 100% there for you when you need him, but he doesn't try to enmesh or enable you into needing his services on a continuous basis. Office clerk, Sarah, was also a great help in navigating the insurance issues. In early April I was literally run over by a snow boarder. We were both going pretty fast so it was a high speed collision. I suffered a broken collarbone, which required surgery, 6 broken ribs in addition to a great deal of bodily trauma due to the collision. Mark has been helping me recuperate and he has been awesome. When I check in for my appointments he logs all my physical symptoms from the last time I saw him. He knows the demands of my schedule and asks how everything went when I check in. He asks appropriate questions so he knows what is challenging me at the moment. Each appointment he builds on what we did previously. So he pushes me a bit each appointment in just the right way and at a level I can achieve without causing pain. Mark is very knowledgeable, patient, calm and supportive. He knows what he's doing, chooses just the right exercises I need to assist in my healing process, is thorough, approachable and has great follow through. Mark is a great physical therapist and I highly recommend him. I'm confident knowing that, with his help, I'll be able to return to normal functioning eventually. read more

Dr. Green is the best and most thorough physical therapist I've ever worked with. Always friendly, patient and fun, Rick knows what it takes to get athletes back on the field, and the rest of us back to our normal activities. When I first shuffled into his office, I'd had multi-hernia surgery and Judo-related muscle tears in the lower abdomen. I could barely walk without a cane. Rick soon had me walking normally and long distance running out on the local trails . His training regimen worked not only to rehabilitate the injured muscles, but also to tackle the root of the problem-- the rarely-used small muscles of the inner-core. In time, Rick helped me build up to the point where I was able to not only go back out on the mat, but to go out stronger than before. My teenage daughter, a cross country runner with scoliosis, also sees Rick for treatment. It's a 21 mile drive from our house, but there's no one we'd trust more with our care. Martial Arts and middle age may not go together well, but should you try it, I highly recommend you keep Rick's number on file. read more

You won't find someone who cares about your health and well-being the way Rick does. I was visiting from out of town, and happened to stop by Rick's office after an old injury flared up from a hike. He met me with care, compassion, and eager to work on my IT band, with an exuberant spirit of service. I've been suffering with knee and IT band issues for several years now, and it flared up after a hike in Snoqualmie. Within minutes, he was able to identify and explain to me the mechanics of my body that were resulting in the pain. I've seen a variety of doctors over the last few years, and none were able to identify the issue! If you've been in pain, look no further -- Rick is committed to your intentional healing. He is knowledgeable, experienced, and extremely intuitive. He worked on my leg and showed me a variety of exercises I can do to truly rectify the issue, not just mask the pain. I went to see Mark when I heard what good results he gets with shoulders. My orthopedist suggested that I try physical therapy to try to avoid a surgical procedure that might be necessary for an impingement and tendonitis in my shoulder. I had already been to see another physical therapist and did not get the results that I was hoping for - I was still in pain and had restricted functionality. After a couple of visits with Mark, I began to feel like there was hope of improvement. He takes the time to adjust exercises and spends a the whole hour with each patient. He gets results. I now continue to do the exercises he gave me and feel surgery is not going to be necessary. I started to see Rick Green at Snoqualmie Physical Therapy as recommended by my ND. I never realized how much help I needed to get my body back in alignment. In my line of work I am always hunched over performing short repetitive movements with my hands and arms, so gradually over time I was experiencing numbness in my hands and limited mobility in my shoulders, back and chest. After every session with Rick I feel my body gaining strength, I feel my posture resisting my old habits and I feel my circulation and lymphatic systems flowing as they should. Rick is very experienced, patient, knowledgeable, purposeful and passionate about the care he gives. I was injured at work and received L&I benefits which allowed me to be treated for my hamstring tendon. I chose Snoqualmie physical therapy because I saw that their ratings were very high. The ratings did not disappoint! Staff are very personable and easy to work with. They took extreme care in my treatment and really wanted to see me fully recovered. Erica the receptionist, as well as the rest of the team, really fought for me when they had to talk with L and I to get me more sessions because they knew what needed to be done in order to get me well again. I had no idea how much I needed physical therapy. A trip to urgent care with vertigo lead me to find a physical therapist. I randomly chose the closest one to me. And WHAT A GODSEND. Not only did Kyle heal my vertigo, he helped me find the root cause. I had no idea I had such a lack of mobility because I had just been living with it for so long. We discovered I needed to completely retrain my neck and upper back to support the muscles and nerves for full range of motion and to allow my nervous system to fully function. Everyone here is accommodating and helpful since I've worked with everyone on the team at one point. I had a rare osteotomy and though I'm not sure Dr. Green had worked with someone recovering from such a surgery, he researched it and helped me recover wonderfully on one side while building and preparing the other side for the next surgery. Once released I IMMEDIATELY came back and recovered on the other side. He is always willing to answer questions and work on any issues I have whether they're related to the reason I'm there or not. read more

We are very fortunate to have Richard in Snoqualmie Valley. I just completed a program with him. Rick has provided me excellent care and guidance as I have been recovering from my bicep injury. He guides me through each exercise and explains techniques to any level of detail that I wish. He has provided a total regime of exercises and stretching to help the supporting areas around the injury. If you have Planter Fasciitis this is the place to go, I had no idea that it could be reversed with Physical Therapy. I tried the heal injections, they did not work, also tried massage it only helped at the moment. After the first month I was feeling relief and now 2 months in and I basically have no pain. I had a persistent pain in my elbow for a week before seeing Mark. Mark fit me in at a moments notice. He listened and was able to diagnose my problem immediately.
