I did not have a choice in this, and we landed with Slayton Law, PLC. First impressions were amazing! They seemed very attentive to our case and answering any questions we had. Overall, the remaining bankruptcy period was uneventful. Towards the end, we had a few questions and attempted to reach out. This is when we started experiencing poor communication and service. It took over 3 months to get any response from anyone from the firm. Calls to the main number went to voicemail and we never had anyone pick up. Eventually we did finally receive a call back from the new client onboarding person. They seemed unaware we were existing clients despite the messages. They could not answer any questions we had as they were not actually lawyers. They did assure us we only needed to send the form we received to them signed, which we did. Now, we have received additional forms and had questions about these. The responses are time sensitive and we have been unable to reach any attorneys.
