I'm from a house with all boys and this is our new spot! My husband and the boys prefer this spot over the other shops we've tried in the area. Being a mom of boys and having to take them to the barber I always feel comfortable here and the boys leave looking fresher than ever! I like that appointments can be made online and though the shop is busy we have always been seen in a timely manner. My youngest son is 2yrs old and he had a great experience. We've left other shops with him in tears but our experience here was very pleasant and I actually don't dread taking him back. We look forward to more great cuts from here! read more

A great place with a great vibe! Leslie did an amazing cut for me. She took the time to listen to my vision for my hair, which made me feel more comfortable doing a cut far more edgy than I've ever done. She took the time to make sure everything lined up perfectly and explained everything she was doing as she went. I already have my next appointment set up. Thank you to everyone at Snippz for being so cool. Highly recommend! read more

Showed up with my kid at 330 pm they close at 5, the guy working 11/16 alone in the afternoon told us that he could not cut my sons hair since he was leaving for an event.... I'm sure anyone that reads this would be pissed too, going to tell all my local friends about this place. He wouldn't give his name but he had on a Baby blue hat and street clothes approximately 23-25 years old. Black Metallica's shirt. Never coming back and will continue to share our experience on other forums that allow reviews. Wow is all I can say, hope the owners or managers actually care..... sad read more

Cool people here. I came here once before trying to look for a barber for my 2 year old. They are very patient with kids and everyone is super nice. It's the only place I take him to get his hair cut anymore. I don't have a regular barber, but will probably start coming here regularly for my self as well. Shout out to Jayden for doing such a great job on my son's cut, and to Angel who put up with my son climbing all over me while he cut my hair. read more

Yelp removed my review! Now I need to review again: I had a bad experience with these fine, clean and well educated people! The place was a caos magazines full of hair music and tv full volume and the smell was between Chinese food burritos and hair chemicals! I think these licensed barbers "rent" the working space half of the cost of cut plus tips! I remember the days the barber make the best effort to cut and talk with the customer who at the end goes back with the same barber for years because was a very nice guy and remembered your name and few things of you or your family! Those days when a tip was 1-2 dollars ! Now they been offended if you left 5 My goal is: find a better place to meet my expectations. Find a good barber who is excelsior with the way he talks his own way to dress and hygiene! Thank you read more

Best barbershop I been so far, I told my boyfriend to come here because his barber would mess him up and he finally tried a new barber at this location (everyone is super nice and they make you feel welcomed) and they left him on point so we are for sure coming backThanks for blessing my boyfriend read more

I just moved to CA from Hawaii and have been looking for a barber in the area. I've been with my barber back home for 5+ years, so of course finding a new one was stressful but necessary! I tried going to a different shop here but had a pretty bad experience and had to go back to my search. As soon as I walked through the doors of Snippz, I knew this would be the one. I was greeted immediately by the Owner, Rosie, sat in the chair, and met Joel. Joel is an incredible barber, with great conversation. I felt like I was chatting with an old friend! When it came to the actual cut, I had a hard time explaining exactly what I wanted, but Joel was very patient and understanding. He asked a lot of questions and assured me he would do whatever it took to give me the perfect cut, which he did! He is extremely meticulous and detailed, which led to me getting the best cut I've had in the longest time. I was bummed to leave my barber back home, but I know I am in good hands with Snippz and Joel as my new barber! I know where I'll be every 2 weeks! read more

Been coming here for a while now, I wanted to give business to a local shop from my own business. Victor has been cutting my hair from the beginning and all I can say is he's good at what he does. Attention to detail, never rushes and solid conversations. The atmosphere is great would definitely recommend not only the shop but Victor as well. read more

Vic always gives me the best cut. I always look forward to coming into the shop every Friday. I even moved to dtla and still come to get my cut by him. I always leave the chair feeling my best! My mom was looking for a barber for herself because she likes the real short pixie/boy cut and she's been complaining that the spot she typically goes to never gives her that clean cut she wants. While visiting me on a Sunday, she asked me to look up a barber in the area that had great reviews. Sure enough, I came across Snippz AND they were open on a Sunday - most salons are closed Sundays and Mondays. I called in and spoke with Rosie, the owner, and explained what my mom wanted. She was really friendly, professional, and understood right away. She told me that they were all booked but she was able to squeeze my mom in. I got a little lost along the way thinking it was at one location and was 15 minutes late, I felt so bad having her squeeze us in. I called to let her know and she said it would be fine. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted and they were busy. The shop is super cute, red and black themed with Edward Scissorhands on the wall. It gave me a garage-like vibe which works well with a barbershop for this day and age. Rosie immediately walked over and helped us out and my mom showed her some photos of the style she was looking for. Rosie gave her opinions and suggestions and they were off. I was the spectator the whole time and mom and I think Rosie did such a great job! It was exactly what my mom was looking for and Rosie wasn't afraid to go to town with the clippers, razor, and line my mom up too. She even explained a few ways my mom could style her new 'do and gave her a sample of the wax product she used on her. My mom and I left a happy camper and my mom is looking forward to going back. The salon is also really clean! You can tell they pride themselves on providing personalized service and don't feel the need to rush their clients. I saw that there were a lot of extras for men, package deals, beard line ups, etc. on their "menu". If I had a man in my life with hair and a beard I would bring em here lol It seems like a great spot to treat yourself. Thanks Rosie!!! read more

Snippz - Hair cut - Barbers Near Me - Chino, California

I've been getting my haircut here for several years and I never appreciated the professionalism of a quality barber shop until I started coming to Snippz. For one thing all of their barbers clearly display their license on their mirrors. This isn't one of those cash-only businesses where the barbers have questionable experience. All of the workstations are organized and the barbers are constantly disinfecting their tools in between cuts. The shop itself is always kept clean and inviting, and they even have a fridge for refreshments that you can purchase. Their team does a great job of acknowledging you as soon as you walk through the door, and getting you into a chair as quick as possible. They do take walk-ins but I recommend making an appointment with one of their barbers through the Booksy app, especially if this is your first time visiting. Their schedules tend to be pretty booked day-to-day. But I want to take the time to also highlight my barber Vic. He cuts in the first chair on the left as soon as you walk into the shop so you can't miss him. One of the great things about working with Vic is that he's honest with me about the limitations of my hair, and takes the time to understand what I want my hair to look like and how we can achieve it. Although it may be easy to just give guys whatever haircut they ask for, Vic will sway you away from things that just won't work for you and he'll never sugarcoat anything. I have very straight, thick hair that's typical of most Asian guys so you can imagine how difficult it is to manage my hair. But through a lot of patience and trial and error, Vic has managed to help me fine tune the haircut that I now proudly wear. But beyond his barbering abilities, Vic is also a personable and genuinely nice guy who takes the time to get to know you. As any good barber does, he treats you like an old friend and acts as a confidant who listens to you ramble about your life while you sit in his chair. Sometimes it feels like I get free therapy with my haircut. But jokes aside, I like to think this is why he's developed the clientele and reputation that he has around the shop. Vic prides himself on his work ethic and his no-nonsense attitude as a professional barber and that is why I have only trusted him to cut my hair the last several years. I now live in Long Beach and I still drive every two weeks to get my haircut at Snippz, like clockwork. A lot of my friends look at me like I'm crazy for driving that far. But when you find a great barbershop that you trust and makes you feel good about yourself, you'll drive however far and pay however much to keep that feeling. read more

I came here for the first time and Jelly helped me. I made an appt and could not be happier. I have longer hair and get braided frequently and don't trust just anyone to touch my hair but she was able to do exactly what I asked for. Taper, line up and beard trim was all I needed but she listened instead of just cutting. I've gotten many compliments and still don't have my hair braided yet!! Very happy with the experience and my clean up. Also wasn't awkward and had engaging conversation. Real dope person and will be back. The vibe of the shop is right even though it wasn't packed. Duuuude..first of all thank you sooo much Rosie! I came here today because my sons hair is not only super straight and thick, but also uneven and all over the place. Previous barbers (not at Snippz) have messed my sons hair up because they don't know how to work with it. I booked my appointment online with Rosie last week in hopes that she would work her magic and do something about my his funky hair and man, she did not disappoint! She understood what I wanted all the while respecting my sons decision of keeping his hair somewhat still long. I don't usually take my son when he's due for a cut so I'm kind of clueless on what to ask, but she walked me through everything she was doing and explained the difference between a taper and fade and what to ask for him on his next visit...which I have since forgotten Regardless, my son came out looking like a whole ass new kid lol and very handsome. This is the spot you want to bring yourself, your kids, your dad your mom your uncles and cousins to! Also regarding COVID: You're temperature is taken when you get there. They are sanitizing their chairs and equipment after every cut and there is no waiting area available at the moment unless you're there with your kiddos. Everyone in the shop also wears masks. 10/10 recommend, I'll definitely be coming back, thank you Rosie and Snippz staff! read more

I recently went to get a haircut with Cizo, and though I usually cut my own hair, I had an important interview and didn't wanna let a bad hair day ruin my chances. Fortunately both the haircut and interview went well for me. Having said that I wouldn't hesitate to return to Snippz or recommend this spot to anyone I know. The price is slightly on the high side IMO, but I fully understand that in life, you typically get what you pay a for. read more

My son was in definite need of a haircut this weekend. My normal barbershop was booked, so I yelped this place and crossed my fingers they had an appointment. Lucky for me, they had a cancellation/opening at 1pm, so I jumped at it. The place is a cute little shop with a positive vibe. I met with Lala and she was able to understand what I was looking for, even without me giving the best explanation. She showed me pictures to help me decide the length with my son's hair, thankfully, because otherwise I would have probably asked her to cut it too short. The price for the cut was really good and the execution of my son's hair was great. I can say I will definitely be back. read more

Called this place on a whim trying to find somebody who could shape up my daughter's haircut. We got an appointment same day and they exceeded my expectations in many ways. I was very impressed as soon as I walked in with the decor and cleanliness not to mention the friendliness of the staff. Irma reshaped my daughter's hairstyle and Alex "Fuze" hooked it up with this awesome design. I love how he consulted with my 10y/o to make sure the design was catered to her liking. I could tell he has a lot of passion for what he does and he will continue to be my daughter's barber. If you like crowded places with 3 Tvs on with volume of course, plus music and over 20 people talking loud then this is the place for you ! I couldn't even speak with the person working with my hair, cause I needed to scream, also the space is so small you can't have any privacy of anything as soon as you start you are facing another customer the whole time. The service is not terrible but isn't over the standard compare no ANY hair place. Nothing special ! I went to that place expecting good customer service and at least a descent hair cut, but the person doing my hair was in a hurry cause he had another customer, took about 5 min. He didn't detail my hair at all, didn't bother to tell him, cause there's no way to say something without the whole room knowing about it. So much for the high reviews, I understand long read more

Dude was cool over the phone . Explained that it was only appointment only. The guy was a gentleman and helped me schedule an appointment at 12:45 . I walked in 10 min early . Was told that he'd be done in a few. Which is cool I have no problem being patient. Around 12:54 . Dude didn't look like he was almost done . Nobody really was giving me an update on how much longer it would have been . Got a weird vibe when was waiting there . Just decided to just takeoff . Brotha , if you're going to call yourself a barbershop and oddly only take appointments only.... Represent your shop to a professional standard . Get your scheduling straight . I'm not sure what's getting to these new gen barbers and what's getting to their heads . I wonder what ever happened to the straight up , sit down , fresh fade , and be happy . I always provide 10$ + on a tip but can't even do that nowadays because it's hard to run into an available barber haha but hey I wish them luck . Hate to say it but I Kind of wasted my time. read more
