Dr. Gold came in, literally sat on the floor, and let my dog say hi and sit with him. It immediately put both my dog and me at ease--he is truly an animal person. My dog received the vaccines he was due for, had his anal glands expressed, and we discussed future heartworm treatment. Dr. Gold also let me know my dog is healthy with great teeth, and I really appreciated that he never pressured me into anything. That made the entire experience feel comfortable and stress-free. I will definitely be back. I'm so happy to have found our new vet home and forever veterinarian!

I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Lovet Pet Health Care due to both a scheduling error and the way the situation was handled afterward. My dog's appointment was scheduled at the wrong location. They realize that the appointment didn't need a doctor while I was on the phone with him yesterday and that it was just a vet tech appointment but did not at all notice that it was scheduled for the wrong place even though we've gone to the same location. I even provided the actual address and detail details to the person. I spoke to one scheduling. I showed up today on time for my pet appointment and the receptionist without any care was more than happy to simply state that she doesn't have an appointment today which I stated that didn't make sense because I scheduled it yesterday. She proceeds to tell me that it's scheduled at a completely different location however, I called this location and had to leave my information for a call back. So they called me back and I scheduled and they had all of the information in front of them while scheduling, including my pets chart and the location in which we go. The receptionist could not care less that they made a mistake and miss scheduled an appointment that required a lot of planning ahead of time. They simply just offered me another appointment with no apology no recognition that they had made a mistake. Rather than acknowledging the scheduling mistake or showing any concern for the inconvenience it caused, the interaction was dismissive and argumentative. I was repeatedly talked over and ultimately treated as though I was creating the problem simply by showing up on time to my pets appt. I understand that mistakes can happen. The issue is the complete lack of accountability afterward. When a veterinary office schedules an appointment at the wrong location, that impacts the pet owner's time, transportation, planning, and potentially the pet's care. At a minimum, I would expect the office to acknowledge the mistake, apologize, and help resolve it professionally. Instead, there was no apology and very little concern for the inconvenience caused. Customer service matters in veterinary medicine because pet owners need to feel confident that appointments and communication regarding their animals are being handled carefully. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend confirming your appointment location directly before making the trip. A scheduling error could have been an understandable mistake. The poor communication and lack of accountability afterward are what made this experience unacceptable. The whole Lovet company needs customer service training at the very least or maybe use common sense and think about yourself in that situation. This location has been nothing but problems with most of the staff. It is sickening to think that this is the normal customer service and that it's ok with the company and owners.

My dog is 9 yesrs old and has been treated as this company his whole life. When I got there, they REFUSED SERVICE because this wasn't my normal location. They said I would need to pay for a full doctor's appointment and wait for hours to be seen. Why schedule me if they can't see me? Why make me drive all the way across town? It was their scheduler who suggested I go to this location. And they had the audacity to try to charge me extra for an unnecessary doctor's visit? Absolutely crazy. Never been so upset. They wasted my time and my gas, and now I need to find someone else to see the dog.

The techs gave me ample materials about after-care for each procedure and I felt very prepared to take care of my recovering cats at home. Frstly when we had to say farewell to our aging cat, the team and Dr Westvall were so caring and empathetic, providing endless time, dignity and explaining every step of the farewell, we were not rushed in any stage and the office has a special room an alternate private exit dedicated to this service at this sad time Upon adopting our next pet an injured dog found limping on the streets, Dr Westvall attended to her needs for almost 2 years, but Valley Fever sadly took her and again the team were wonderful at her end. But just as amazing was the new pup package and care we have got now for 2 years with our new pup, from initial health check, where Dr Westvall found ear mites! (Common) and easy quick treatment was provided as well as keeping her up on vaccinations, Heartgard and everything else she has needed. The clinic provides full documentation and makes every pet feel special. Sonoran has a large assortment of pet food and treats, great hours and always provides us great personal service.

We've known for years how wonderful this place is, they've cared for several of our dogs over time, but this visit was especially meaningful and unforgettable. We brought in our 15-year-old, three-legged, amazing boy Jake after one of the scariest mornings we've ever experienced. He woke up unable to walk, unable to see, and in severe pain. He had also experienced a seizure earlier, and given his age and sudden decline, we were truly afraid this might be the day we had to say goodbye. Dr. Stinnett took the time to give Jake a thorough, thoughtful exam, ran blood work, and, most importantly, treated him with compassion, confidence, and care. She knew, even when we were unsure, that this was not Jake's time. While the exact cause of his episode wasn't fully clear, Dr. Stinnett was confident that Jake still had good life ahead of him and she was absolutely right. Just four days later, Jake was back to his normal self. Seeing him walking, seeing, and acting like our happy boy again felt nothing short of miraculous. The entire team at The Pet Wellness Center truly cares for your pets as if they were their own family. The doctor was very nice and recommended not doing a biopsy but to just remove the mass at the same time as a dental cleaning under anesthesia. The appointment was very quick and they did the other quick normal checks (temperature, asked about diet, etc). This appointment cost $89! That is the most I've ever paid for a check up at a vet in this state and two other states I've lived in. The doctor said they would give me a quote for the dental cleaning and the mass removal and the vet tech said he would get that to me by end the of the day or by the end of the week (this was on a Monday). Next Tuesday rolled around and I still had not heard from them so I called in the morning and they apologized and said they would send the quote. I received the quote that evening, but the quote was only for the mass removal at $1874.00 - $2332.57. I asked to know if this included the dental cleaning. It's now Thursday, almost two weeks after the initial appointment and the person responding to the email said it was only for the mass removal but that the tech could write me a quote for dental cleaning if I want. They also said they noticed a double charge on the quote so the mass removal quote is actually $1404 - $1862. I should mention that the mass is smaller than the size of a dime on a 13 pound pup. I was dumbfounded that they were asking if I wanted a dental cleaning quote as I had already discussed that with the vet and the tech that they would quote me for both. In this timeframe, I was able to get two quotes from other vets and the total quote from these other places (dental and mass removal) were cheaper than the quote for just the mass removal at The Pet Wellness Center. Needless to say, we will be going elsewhere - doing the bloodwork, dental cleaning, and mass removal at a quote of less than $1000! Updating to say I paid $513 for everything (dental cleaning, mass removal, bloodwork, pain meds, etc.) somewhere else. I highly recommend not wasting your time and money and doing the research to find somewhere else to go. The Humane Society does dental cleanings at low-cost as well as many other vets with great reviews in the valley.

I can not say enough good things about this place…read more We started coming here about 2 years ago when our vet, Dr. Rowe, left Desert Sky Animal hospital to leave out of state. We have five dogs and three cats, and they are our go-to place anytime we need anything. They consistently go above and beyond, genuinely caring about the animals and making you feel valued above all else. I had a vet emergency over the weekend, and they found me another place to take my pet because they couldn't get me in. They even called me three different times to check on my fur babies' well-being. The emergency vet I took my fur baby to hasn't followed up once! You may not be thanked all the time, but I want you to know I appreciate you all and the staff beyond words!

We have spent thousands of dollars on medication for Bandit over the past 2 years through you. I requested for a blood test during the exam because he needs his kidney's checked for his restrictive cardiomyopathy and had his 6 month check up next week with his cardiologist. I even mentioned to Ashley, our tech, that I liked getting it done with you because it's much cheaper than at the cardiologist. Dr. Lee mentioned Bandit could have pancreatitis, due to the fact I said he had been drinking more water lately. He said they could check for pancreatitis with the blood test. I am very frustrated by the fact it was not relayed to me that it would be roughly $200 more for that test. For an annual exam, urine specimen, and blood test... I was not expecting it would be $470. $200 more than what I paid last year? I end up spending $500 at the cardiologist every 6 months for his echo, so a "$1000 spend on my cat in a week" realization wasn't fun. Amanda (I'm assuming it was her when I spoke with her on the phone and recognized her voice) said lab prices have increased and that checking for pancreatitis cost more. I told her my feedback is being more transparent about pricing, because I was honestly shocked at that price. And I never said I wanted a full senior work up for his blood test. To add to the experience, a very rude man was yelling at one of the front desk assistants when I was trying to pay. He was frustrated because the front desk did not communicate that their appt was going to be delayed due to an emergency appt coming in. Another example of poor communication from staff. Because of Bandit's heart condition I hate to sever this relationship, because you are 2 mins away and it's very convenient for medication, and I truly love most of the staff.
