    Botched surgery site

They butchered my cat she will forever have serious scar tissue and trauma ended up having to take her to the emergency vet and spending over 300 to get her on pain meds and antibiotics they also had to scrub her incision site to even be able to tell what they did to her it was so botched. They over glued her and the emergency vet was even talking about having to reopen her and scrap out the shit ton of glue they piled in there not to mention it took them three days to contact me back about the situation and by that time I'm already out 300 plus what I gave them to spay my cat... unless you want your cat dead or seriously botched don't go here

    Drive up line

My cat was starting to mark his territory, making my family and my female cat very uncomfortable. I was able to find an opening for a neuter in two days, which is much better than waiting 3 weeks to be seen at my vet. The girls were super friendly, and they answered all my questions. Pre and post-op instructions were very clear. This place is super affordable, paid less than $100 for a neuter, whereas my vet was going to charge me $500 *But if you love you pet very much, I'm sure you'd feel better bringing them to a vet you trust* I didn't mind buying some supplies-that they mentioned on a slip after I dropped my cat off-if it meant they will be able to continue charging reasonable prices and having an open spot for me. All veterinarians are equal in my eyes, and Dr. Duffy did a great job

It's unfortunate that the lack of emotions that is lacking from everyone there is beyond anything I have ever seen in my life. The women in that place are not pleasant at all and the aggressiveness that they speak to you is beyond words! You can't ask questions because they give you attitude and then they look at each other and speak amongst themselves as if the question you asked was unreasonable. I am a huge donor of animal Rescues and I will be damned if I ever give that place a dime of my money! The head of that place is horrible she treats those that have taken time out their lives to be there for free like garbage. I have heard first hand how she talks to them!

I would give less if i could, do not ever bring your x-small dog here. This was my baby the day i picked him up, and he cried for 2 days straight. The day after i took him back in and they told me he was dramatic. Maybe they're great with cats or larger dogs, but wouldn't tell anyone with a small dog to come here. They also told me they were charging me $10 for 2 puppy teeth removed and they only removed one puppy tooth, told me i could bring him back in and pay to get the other removed if i wanted.

    Before his teeth cleaning

Always a positive experience here. Got my 2 dachshunds spayed/neutered here and everything went great both times. I recently took my 3 year old dachshund here to get his first dental cleaning and they did an AMAZING job! And the staff is always super nice! And you truly can't beat the prices here. My regular vet was charging $700 starting just for the cleaning not including initial "consultation" or x-rays. I only paid $250 for X-rays, anesthesia and the cleaning. Wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else for future cleanings. I posted before and after photos of Smidge so you can see the difference!

Give Kids the Wold Deserves 5 million stars - It is the BEST place in the entire world! This…read moreincredible resort does everything imaginable to give wish kids facing life threatening medical issues and their families the best week of their lives, all at no cost to the families. We were guests here with two of my daughter in 2012 and 2015, and we've been back as volunteers over the past four years. I have only wonderful things to say about this wonderful resort. Founded by Holocaust survivor Henri Landwirth, GKTW is celebrating their 40th birthday. They've hosted over 200,000 wish families, and each wish child has their own gold star on the ceiling of the Castle of Miracles. Each family gets to stay in a two bedroom villa for the week, and all of their meals are provided in Cafe Clayton - the on property restaurant. There is also an ice cream parlor that opens each day at 7:30AM and families are highly encouraged to eat ice cream for breakfast at least once during their stay. In addition, Noah's Nook provides poolside snacks such as nachos, popcorn, chips, and iceys; and you can also get pizza deliveries right to your villa from Miss Merry's Pizzeria. There is so much to do at GKTW! The pool is amazing and is handicap accessible. Actually, absolutely everything at GKTW is fully accessible! There is also a life-sized Candyland Game playground, a beautiful carousel, and two other amusement park rides on site. In Amberville, there are arcade games and the biggest model railroad system I've ever seen. Families can also go fishing, participate in the evening parties, and do STEM activities in the Wonderlab. They can play on the dinosaur themed mini golf course, and get their hair and nails done at the Rockin' Spa. Best of all is the amazingly friendly and welcoming atmosphere at GKTW. The village looks like a fairytale world with brightly colored buildings, whimsical characters, and Mayor Clayton, a well dressed village who "runs the village". The village is spotlessley clean and very well maintained. Each week, volunteers happily fill over 1800 shifts doing everything from scooping ice cream, to serving meals, to power washing, to helping at parties, to running the carousel to help families have the week of their lives. All of the volunteers are so friendly and really go the extra mile to be kind to the wish children and their families. We've been volunteering during our spring school vacation week for the past four years, and it is the BEST! We look forward to it for the whole year and pack as many volunteer shifts into our week as possible, because being at GKTW and helping these incredible families is so rewarding and also fun. I highly recommend GKTW to families whose child qualifies for a wish due to tough medical circumstances, or anyone who would like to help out by volunteering. GKTW truly is the BEST place in the world!

I pulled up out front and walked inside and was greeted almost immediately. I explained to the woman what I had And she had me pull around to the side of the building to make the donation. Everything went very smoothly and I was very happy with the experience. While I was inside the store I did see that they had a lot of merchandise for sale with some of it being brand new while other was clearly used. I didn't really have time to look around much, but I could definitely see check in this place out to see what they had available in the future.

My intention was to…read morehead to a "restore" and when I utilized the directions button for the Florida Mall location, I was sent here. So, there might be a bug in the direction link. I stopped on my way there making sure I clicked the Florida Mall store in the Yelp app, but each time, I was sent to this location. (After getting there, I realized that I was at the wrong place.) Also, I think there was another store in the area previously where some of the photos might have been taken, but perhaps this is the newer store? Anywho, this was a store, I think ... however, it doesn't look like some of the photos in the initial reviews. From some of the photos, the place looks larger and more organized. This place was small and had a bunch of things but not things that I could use. I'm not knocking it by any means! This place helps out many people who are in need of basics. I was just on a hunt for possible flooring and doors. (I had heard from friends that they found windows, doors and flooring left over from new builds. I just don't think they are at this location.) They do have doors, but as it was just me shopping, it was hard to mull through them in the warehouse as they were stacked and my back is roughed up from a wreck I was in a year ago. It was also pretty dark in that area and the floor was plywood and I just wanted to be careful where I was walking. They do have furniture, etc., and again, if you are in need, this place can help you out. If you are looking for more homebuilding or newer items (possible left over from recent construction), this probably isn't the restore you are thinking of. Either way, Habitat is a wonderful organization and I'll try another location as its a win-win for all involved.

I used to volunteer a lot, then got out of it as I got older, and was happy to have volunteering put in the forefront of the news with Disney. I knew the volume of people signing up for events, and was pleasantly surprised when I painted a house with Hands On Orlando. The day consisted of painting four houses, with 100 volunteer expected. The HOO coordinator was very organized, arrived early and was very friendly. There was a HOO coordinator for each house, and one who monitored the whole project. They were very clear in their directions, and made a very humid day painting a house in not a great neighbor hood a great experience. Being an annual passholder for Disney, I wasn't worried about the processing time for the receipt of the Disney voucher, and yet it was in my email by Tuesday. Its kind of sad, the coordinator said that the month before, for the same event they had only twenty volunteers, and now all their events are full. While we appreciate all the Disney is doing to help communities, I sure wish more people would volunteer without having to be bribed, and I can't wait til we do it again!

When I moved back to O-town I was super excited to find a local Hands On chapter. There is truly something for everyone here. Whether you like to work with your hands and get dirty, or just sit and hang out with some at-risk kids, or play with the puppies and kitties at the local shelter, Hands on Orlando has a huge network of opportunities, linking you with others who share your passions and organizations that run on the support of volunteers. The volunteer coordinators are super fun and work well with the organizations to ensure a smooth-flowing but fun volunteer experience. He did bloodwork and told me verbatim that my dog has "multiple organ failure" and he would not make it if I left. He said I needed to leave him there for $2000 or euthanize him--they literally brought me an unsolicited cost sheet for euthanasia. I got a second opinion at another facility where they did more thorough tests beyond the initial bloodwork to get to the root of the issue and it was literally just pancreatitis which is treatable with rest, diet, and pain medication. Absolutely unreal that this man lied to make my pet's condition sound absolutely dire to swindle me for money, and more than that, I genuinely believe this man would have let me kill my beloved pet if I agreed to that while he knew pancreatitis is EASILY treatable.:. That absolutely makes me sick to my stomach. This place shouldn't just be shut down, this man should be in jail! I kept asking questions because he was being so vague about all of it and he was clearly getting annoyed and trying to throw around jargon trying to confuse me. I'd ask general questions and he'd say something like "I don't have a crystal ball!" and I told him I'm just trying to understand and he must have had similar cases to be able to give ANY information at all and he replied with "I've had thousands but this dog is an individual!" Dude what? What is medicine and science if not collecting data and knowledge based on repeating studies, treatments, etc? How have you seen this thousands of times and still have no idea if my dog will even have a chance to make it?? Then come to find out it's frigging treatable pancreatitis! Then they have these framed plaques on their wall in the waiting room about how they "proudly service K-9 units" and their commitment to excellence but they're literally spelled wrong...? ("ExcellAnce" ) Also they have mismatched bargain bin dish drying racks for kitchen sinks they are trying to sell next to dog food and a random tiny statue like we're at a Ross or something lol. This place is absolutely ghetto; girl up front talks to you fast and sterile like her second job is an auctioneer, "doctor" lies about your pets condition to play on your worries and tries to hustle you, and it honestly all just looks dingy, small and gross.
