They also took full boxes of stuff back with them when they left. I guess that is why It is leaking in the back room after they did the roof. They had insurance if I bought a certain shingle, the same price as the other shingles and it was mostly for wind damage. They did not register the shingle for that insurance, so basically they stole 300.00 dollars off of me. I put in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, a month ago, but they did not put that there was a complaint on record after 30 days, if they didn't respond, you guessed it, they didn't respond. At around the same time,, I had my breast cancer surgery, and 2 days later I broke my wrist. I told them I was paying by check or cash because I would get a discount. They dropped their work crew of Mexicans (they asked me if I would be offended) I told them I didn't care what color or anything else, if they knew how to put a roof on, I was okayed with that. They didn't drop back about getting their payment that day, Early in the morning I got a call from sales, who said he was sending someone for the check, but said I could not because I couldn't write or sign it. He sent someone anyway and said he( would have someone help me write the check, I refused the person who came, I was still in my nightgown, and I was going to the bank later. They said the big boss was not going to be happy. So the big boss called me and said he heard I would not pay them. It pissed me off, I had to wait for months for them to come out to do the roof, after paying a large deposit, then showing me a list of 30 or more roofs that was before me, and he already had my check and it was a large cancellation fee. I said I was going to the bank, and it was the same bank he used. All I had to do is transfer the money. In total, it was over 11,000 dollars for a double-wide house, that was mostly flat. I paid probably 2000 dollars for the stuff they took back or more. I called them about the 300.00 dollars for the insurance, and they had a group of roofers go by my house, heckling me, I guess to intimidate me. You don't mess with a Philly girl, we just get mad! He took several thousand dollars for "materials" which he never ordered. After several months of excuses around why he couldn't do the work, I requested my money back, and after filing a complaint with the BBB I received a partial refund and was hit with bogus restocking fees for the materials that were never ordered. After taking the matter to small claims court, the judge ordered that the remaining balance be paid back to me. Apgar has yet to pay. I have heard from other contractors that he has a reputation for doing this to vulnerable people.

Was dark when done so left voice mail and text him several times to come out to check it. Gave yr warranty. Never responded. Then 3 months later I text him as turned into credit card but wanted to give another chance. Told me wasn't necessary to come out. Never mentioned tree. Told me no money no vehicle and couldn't come out anyways. Told me if anymore bats would get for me. Well got myself. His warranties are worthless. He took my 1000 dollars without a problem. DO NOT have him do any work for you.

Asked him to come back next day. Never responded. Also did not do all he said he did. Took advantage of a recent widow. Gave me a yr warranty. Now when he did respond two months later said about homeless no money no vehicle. I live too far. Why do job and give warranty. Oh knew wouldn't honor a warranty. Very pleasant and a scam artist. Took my 1,000 dollars and ran knowing this. he doesn't even deserve a one.
