She had only two conditions (and I wasn't sure I could keep to them, but I did): no kicking and no screaming. She kept me laughing (and, breathing deep when it was appropriate) all through my appointment. I *now* appreciate how thorough she was during the waxing session, but I will not lie; I was trying to negotiate with her about maybe not being such a perfectionist.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Customer service is clearly not a priority here. I booked a…read moreretwist appointment weeks in advance, and on the day of my appointment, the stylist, Heather, asked me to come in two hours early. I explained that I couldn't because I would have to leave work early. She responded that "she didn't ask me to take off" which rubbed me the wrong way since I had already told her no. About an hour later, she canceled my appointment, saying she was "uncomfortable" servicing me. The entire situation felt rude, unprofessional, and inconsiderate. Clients schedule appointments around their own responsibilities too, and it's unfair to expect people to rearrange their whole day last minute due to the stylist preference. No means no. Reliable scheduling and communication should go both ways.

I've seen no more than 3 stylists but the norm is only 2. That should tell you alot. If you are a Texas Conservative, be aware that your rights will be trampled on and the reason I found a better salon. Don't like like having things done to my hair that I didn't ask for. This was done during a routine trim without my knowledge nor my consent. Be advised. There are much better salons out there, believe me. By the way, this salon has changed hands.it is NOT owned by the same person (Michelle) who got all the rave reviews. New owner must have worked there as she is pictured in the group shot which is really false. Not many customers at all. Maybe 2 besides myself when I've been there is what I've experienced which is not a very good thing.

I've been pleased with the initial cut & style as well as suggestions she gave me. The cut was obviously done right based on how easily I was able to reproduce the style at home. Rachel gets my highest recommendation & I'm looking forward to going back. I found her to be a very pleasant person, both helpful & kind. The salon is neat & clean.
