When we did get our burgers they said another 5 minutes on the appetizers and after 1/2 hour and a second beer we just said forget it and grabbed the check, which in classic consistent fashion I still had to go to the bar after 20 minutes to pay for it. The toilets are also a weebit creepy. 121 doesn't have a toilet of their own-- so we only use the one in the building's basement and it's dirty, and smells like a public urinal that hasn't been cleaned in some time. But, well, when you gotta pee, you gotta pee! What I actually like about 121 is the sort of rowdy atmosphere you get when it's a Friday night at one of the watering holes in the U-Belt-- it's fun, casual and not pretentious! I only go here for Thursdays! It's a weekly meetup of the local Couchsurfing community (and whoever is within the country, at the time!) that we've fondly named Thirstdays at 121. It usually starts around 10pm and goes on til whenever! 121 closes at 2... but when you're in such a big group like ours (we were around... 30 or 40 the last time!) they'll be okay with staying open until 3 or 4 am. :) Come on by during Thursdays!
