It's nice that this gas station is open 24 hours and is the only one available within a considerable radius. It is also brightly lit in the pitch black darkness in the middle of the night. The drink and food selection was not bad. But the men's restroom had no soap nor paper towel. read more

I got a $7 premade chicken sandwich and it was disgusting. I should have returned inside and gotten my money back. It was dried out breading on a piece of grilled chicken the size of a 50 cent piece. Legitimately. The coffee was mediocre. Bathroom was kinda gross. It's the only place around, so that's why it gets two stars. read more

We were traveling out of town and headed back home. We made a stop at Snappy's and it was clean, the staff friendly, and had everything we needed including phone chargers. We got some made to order food that was FANTASTIC! We got the chicken sandwich and chicken quesadilla and it was delicious! read more

Having stopped here over the last 20 years, I was delighted to find Snappy's still operating very successfully in Bald Eagle. They have a nice new store, great Subway sandwiches and a very friendly staff. My dad used to buy his cigarettes and lottery tickets here so I've seen some changes...and you can still get a bite to eat for the family close to home that won't break the bank. Nothing fancy but carries all the basics. read more

I generally don't rate convenience stores. This one was exceptional because of the staff. The ladies there were all friendly; especially the kind, older woman with the butterfly earrings making the subs that night. My husband and I both agreed it was the best Subway sub we'd ever had. She carefully chose fresh ingredients and listened to what we wanted. It was amazing. Someone who actually cared. You can't get this kind of service in a big city. read more

I wouldn't even give this place a star if I didn't have to. I come here all the time and have been for awhile and have seen the "turnover" with employees. Some who worked and were amazing and you could tell people enjoyed coming to a convenient store/gas station and being treated with kindness and welcome, and there are other employees that clearly should NOT still be empowered there. Let's just say that after what I witnessed the other day I will not be returning to the snappy's in bald eagle nor any other of the snappy's establishments. There is an employee (Rose) who has been working here for years I'm sure, I think she's a shift supervisor if I'm correct, who is the definition of someone you WOULD NOT want being in customer service, let alone in contact with patrons who stop here everyday. Not only have I, as well as others, witnessed her being rude to customers, but also fellow employees!! It's like she has no filter and doesn't seem to care how she represents the employer she works for. Just for instance I was waiting in a line of about 5 or 6 people including myself to check out and she was the only one ringing people out. Now clearly the customer comes first but the two other workers were obviously to busy to help check everyone out. One was chit chatting in an isle with someone who looked like a friend and the other was making sandwiches. The family in front of me couldn't speak English clearly but anyone would've been able to understand what they were saying. The gentleman asked for money on a gas pump and Rose acted as if she couldn't understand what he was saying. She became so flustered with this nice man for no reason and turned to the girl making sandwiches and said so loud "you need to come help this man because I can't understand what he wants and he's holding up the line" let just say HOW EMBARRASSING FOR THE CUSTOMER and his family!! She called me over to the next register and must've felt comfortable enough to say "people should speak clear English or go back to their country". I was beyond dumbfounded that she would say this to me let alone loud enough for everyone to hear! This women needs to learn compassion, understanding, and patience with the customers that come into her place of work. This isn't even close to the first time I've as well as others have heard her talk ignorantly towards customers and fellow employees. Something needs to be done with her or she'll just keep treating people badly. read more

POKEMON GO RESULTS: While I try not to be critical, this gas station has done very little to impress me. Upon arrival, I checked for Pokemon in the area. At first, I was greeted by a Caterpie, which was a welcome site. Through my training prowess, I captured the bugger, and resumed my search. Seconds later, another Caterpie appears -- this time accompanied by a Pidgey. Granted, it wasn't the most exciting of findings, but I made quick work of the two creatures. My army had doubled within seconds. It's safe to say that I was elated by my recent acquisition. Afterwards, I went inside Snappy's and decided celebrate with my favorite beverage - a Monster Energy. After being charged an outrageous fee ($2.59 + tax), I decided to end my venture. Alas, Snappy's is a safe bet for those that want low-class bug Pokemon, and the occasional appearance of normal or flying types. read more
