But when I started they told me they would wave the start-up fees over the phone before they saw us, then after my free week he then said it would be half of the start-up fee. Ok not sure why you changed your mind but whatever it was only going to be 30 a month for me, 20 a month for my daughter with a 50 dollar start-up fee. Then tonight he now told me that if I didn't commit for 24 months my price goes up 10 dollars a person. So not sure why they are so money hungry and why they want to lie to their customers other then he was trying to run us out. So be it they win this battle, I will be quitting at the end of the month and taking my business elsewhere. So if your beautiful and have no flaws go for it join this gym. But for the rest of us take your business elsewhere where they don't discriminate.

I am writing this review for the person who just sustained an injury, and have no idea which way to…read morego, or what to do. There is probably nothing worst than to be extremely healthy & mobile at 7:29am, to then be the complete opposite with one wrong move at 7:30am. Having that thing that is the most therapeutic, taken away, and kept away for a period of time that you have no idea for how long...might be up there with being forced fed the vegetables you hate more than anything, as a kid. So I sustained a hamstring injury while working out. The minute it happened I got that rush of "oh no" that increased my body temperature, while removing color from my face. Right at that moment you have that large question mark on your brain that has you as clueless as following Google/Apple maps when it keeps rerouting you to the exact same spot, to then reroute you again. So what do we do, we visit Dr Google. We get a timeline of 4-6 weeks, all the way to possible surgery depending on the damage, sighhhhh. So I decide this time I am not going to self diagnose, I am going to find a professional who has seen this same injury thousands of times. I search in the area and V6 shows up. V6 made me think of a car, which is movement...and damnit, I want to be able to move again, so V6 it is!!! I look at the website and like what I see. So I call, no answer...and I did not leave a voicemail because I am moving on to the next company because I need to be seen right now. No more than 10 minutes past, my phone rings and it is V6. I speak to the doctor and let him know we have a four alarm fire and I need to come in ASAP!!! Dr Gearheart speaks in a very calm & relaxing tone, then proceeds to start asking questions to try and understand the scenario. After a brief discussion, he lets me know his soonest appointment and I am booked. Show up to the office maybe 7 minutes early, and through the glass I can see his office...which is a good thing for me. I do not like closed in offices because I feel like only bad news is told in those. We talked for a bit going over the scenario again but with more detail and demonstration from myself, to give him a much better idea of what happened. During the conversation I noticed he paid attention to my level of understanding of the human body and matched it. He did not "doctor talk" me(big words, quick speaking, and rushing to get to the next client), or talk to me like I didn't know the difference between a finger and a toe. Before he started the physical part of the evaluation that requires him to move and test the injured area, he sits down and asks a question I have never been asked by any medical professional. I was asked, "where are you mentally/emotionally right now, and what can I do to help you leave here today feeling better." That question let me know I was in the right place, and gave me full confidence that I will get back to my norm in a timely manner.

There are annual plans or for slightly more per month you can go without a contract. Second, the gym is open 24 hours... so theoretically we can go anytime we want. The gym is very clean and has all of the equipment you could want. There are also classes you can take where an instructor will run you through a routine. You can take these classes one-on-one or in small groups. Planet Fitness promotes itself as a judgment free zone... and I have to admit that I've never felt judged by anyone at Planet Fitness... staff or clients. It can be easy to feel intimidated in some gyms, but not here. I wish they had a cardio cinema. My old gym had that... basically you could walk a treadmill or bike while a movie was playing. For someone like me who gets bored at the gym, this was a great option. It always seemed to make the time fly... and many times got me to workout longer. I also miss some of the classes offered by the YMCA and the option to swim. All-in-all though these things do not outweigh the many benefits of Planet Fitness. I'm happy we made the switch.

I've referred so many people to Body 20 however when ! canceled my membership with the general manager as my schedule didn't allow me to come in twice every week they continued to bill me $400/month. I had to call/text every month and had to wait over a week for a refund. For some reason 5 months after I cancelled they re-instated my membership without any notice or authorization to do so and charged me $400 twice and when I called to get it refunded they showed no urgency and after 5 days the $800 has still not been returned or even initiated on their end. The General Manager - Carson's response was "I recommend contacting your bank directly" however my local credit union has told me it hasn't even been initiated on their end. I should add that I have several years of banking management experience and the moment they initiate the refund and it processes in their system the receiving bank would see it as pending and the receiving bank could hold it for 3 days. I think Body20 is great however it's not a very affordable gym and would definitely use your discernment with their billing system as it has been a persistent issue and the staff is very attentive to you until it comes to billing or mistakes they made.

The KOMA methodology and system of progression is both highly motivating and clear to understand and allows for students of all levels to learn together and at their own rate. It has a more modern vibe in its environment and culture, however it does stress the traditional ways and the discipline of the art. My 9 y.o. loves going and loves both the instructors and his classmates. Great place.
