You don't even need to be 18 to buy a lighter in California. The staff here move like they're in slow motion and act like they've never been trained. It's like walking into a break room at a retirement home where no one knows what's going on. I'm all for protecting kids from adult products--but that's not what this is. This is incompetence, plain and simple. To the owner: pay a little more and hire people who can think. They give incredible deals on liquor and if something goes wrong, they make it right, immediately. When I've been short on cash, they've given me opportunities to save money on ATM fees. Back to the cooler, I couldn't find the ale so as I was walking out I told the clerk how impressed I was with the bourbon selection and said I was looking for an ale but didn't see it. He said which and I told him "Old Speckled Hen" yep, that is the name but don't laugh it is really good. He said they have it and walked back and sure enough I missed it. I bought it and my friend was overjoyed to see it and said he thought it could only be found in pubs on draft...I told him about the bourbon selection as well as the location to buy more of the ale. I was desperate, and brought 8 bucks worth of cash since I wasn't about to dive further into credit card debt. I was planning on getting a lemonade and another snack if I had the money but remembered that this is the only damn Circle K in the entire area that doesn't have lemonade. However, there was a wetzel's pretzels inside with lemonade. I ordered a small bag of mini-pretzels from the clearly disgruntled employee running it, and then all of a sudden, all my cash was GONE. No room for lemonade, they might've charged 2 dollars for that. in inflation times, this may seem like a reasonable price for pretzels. Think again. I could get a single cheeseburger with animal style fries at In-N-Out for the same price. I was in shock. Even worse, I can feel the pure fiery hatred radiating from the guy who works here. I bet he was upset that he was charging 8 bucks for a small bag of pretzels as well. As I write this, I still burn with hatred for my cash lost on those mediocre pretzels in these trying times. Nothing at a gas station should cost 8 dollars on its own. A wetzel's pretzels, therefore, does not belong inside this establishment.

They told us it would be ready same day so I went back around 3pm to grab them. One was ready to go but the other one was partially filled and they told me I can come back tomorrow to grab the second one. Ok that's fine but why not just call to let me know the issue instead of driving all the way back down here again? Also when it was ready the next day they never called to let you know to pickup your order, I had to call to ask if it was ready. They have our number and email so why is it so hard to let your customers know when their medication is filled?? It's nice that it's so close to several neighborhoods. You can easily gas up and grab a dvd from the Redbox kiosk. Or pick up a large item from Amazon in the Amazon Locker located here. This one happens to be named "bakun". Haha I like picking up and swapping out my BBQ propane tanks here too. It's slightly higher in price but I can get it super quick here. It's great to be able to get multiple things done so close to home. This Circle K makes this Mobile gas station much more than just a place for gas.
