I'm just. It sure where to begin. Lately this has been downright frustrating to see that what once was isn't anymore. I used to enjoy coming to get smoothie bowls and now it's the bananas are mushy and this today was like what on earth. Not appealing at all. The employees are very nice it's just how these bowls should be done to look appealing and not a mess. Gosh I hope something changes soon. Please work on presentation and not sure about the peanut butter but it was something else so thick I would barely move it with the spoon. read more

I was in a rush to have a nutritional dinner before my fasting window closed. The customer service was spectacular. I rushed and asked for any protein smoothie and the employee hooked me up!! I had banana, strawberries and some other deliciousness in my cup that made me feel full and energetic when I finished. Hadn't been to Smoothie King in a long time. But this experience at this location will have me returning again very soon! read more

Extremely rude customer service. Called the location as I had a question trying to order online. 6/16 at 2pm - male that answered was annoyed and rushed me off the phone. Never got my question answered. I guess he got what he wanted as I won't order from this location today. read more

My smoothie was great! The team was friendly and talkative, they seemed new to me. They explained there is now a new owner and I should try the new acai bowls. I'm pleased to hear that, because I like bowls. read more

At a glance the prices can seem expensive but the portions are huge. Sometimes I get a medium smoothie early in the morning and it will last me all day at work. My favorite items are anything from the Vegan menu and the Green Tea smoothie with mango. If your still worried about the price, you can always download their rewards app where they offer different discounts and coupons based on the location you're at. You can even accumulate points that you can later use on extra add-ons or even a free drink. I've tried the different smoothie businesses but Smoothie King is by far my favorite. They also have other health snacks available in the store and even some protein powders. read more

Pedro is the man! About a month ago There was two kids in front of me ordering smoothies but their cards would not go through. I watched Pedro take out his own personal and pay for them. Not only is that guy caring for his customers he also makes fantastic smoothies. We need more people like Pedro and that's why I recommend the smoothie king read more

This location is great for grabbing a quick snack just off of the Grandy. It also has good selection of snacks and protein powders. My favorite is the Gladiator with peanut butter, banana, and chocolate protein powder. The staff is efficient and courteous. I've always received great service. read more

An update my boyfriend ordered smoothies for us from here and I hoped after a few months of not ordering from them they would maybe be better. Nope same thing as always basically ice and milk with a slight hint of strawberry. I even asked for 2 extra things of strawberry too it And his mixed berry smoothie was not the best either not much flavor at all. So annoyed. read more

I was very disappointed in the disrespect by the young African American girl working on 8/10. She was unnecessarily rude and had a bad attitude. Everyone else that works there is nice. This location also does not offer the same perks and upgrades as other locations. I wont be going back. read more

service is always fast, and employees are friendly and the online ordering is great. can order online and pick it up. in and out, no lines!

I visited Smoothie King today 6/24/20 and the 2 employees making and handling the smoothies were not wearing masks. Although there was social distancing markers on floor, only 2 female customers were following guidelines as customers with masks. There were 3 men all standing close together - no face masks. Last time I visited this Smoothie King less than 2 weeks ago, the servers and food prep employees (2 of them), were wearing masks. I called in the order, and almost left without picking it up as I couldn't believe the employees were not wearing masks as mandated by both the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County as all persons in indoor places are required to do. It is not taking precautions if the employees making the smoothies and handing them to you are not wearing masks. I will not return to this location. Btw, smoothies were ok, not great as they used to be as well. read more

We've been to this Smoothie King location twice and the customer service is always fantastic. The best I've had at any Smoothie a King. This morning I called ahead to order our smoothies (highly recommended - sometimes SK's get busy and it takes a little time to prepare them) and Robert even labeled them! Awesome experience and definitely recommend checking out this Smoothie King! We go to A LOT of Smoothie Kings while traveling and this one has been the best experience so far! read more

I used to work at Smoothie King in Jacksonville so maybe this review is biased. At mine, and at the others that the awesome owners had, the energy was SKY HIGH. We greeted customers with a big "HELLO!" made suggestions, explained ingredients, and we had so many regulars. People would come in and spend 20 dollars plus daily on their smoothies and we enjoyed speaking with every guest we had. Often times we were told how much people enjoyed coming just to get a smile and good energy. The past few times I've been to this one the energy is much like the energy at a funeral. There's no semblance of customer service. In Jacksonville we were trained (and also they hired naturally energetic people) to talk to customers as if they were our friends, and they became such. We were trained to always point out the extras and enhancers menu, and make genuine suggestions. I WORKED HERE and always forget to add my typical enhancers (which would greatly drive up the price of my smoothie so they're losing out). Yeah that doesn't happen here. You go up to the counter and they don't even greet you. You just order a smoothie pay and wait quietly while they silently sling ingredients. Honestly I would hate working here! It doesn't look fun at all! We had so much fun at SK in Jacksonville that the energy was natural! I dont know if they place needs some sage burning or prayers or what, but every time I leave I feel uncomfortable. Wish they had a drive thru so I could still get my smoothies and not have to walk through this black parade. ONE person has had any sort of conversation with me and that's just because I was wearing my SK shirt and he asked about it. I really want to call up the Jax managers and have them hold some training sessions down here because I won't be back until something is done. It's sad in there. read more

They forgot my scoop of PB..The most important ingredient imo. And I left a tip. I'll still go but please don't forget details. Peanut butter = life. Other than that the employees are always very nice. read more

Never been to a smoothie king before. I Had a coupon for a free smoothie for Veterans Day with no time listed and the cashier said " those are 2-6. Come back then" and turned her back. So an opportunity to gain a new customer was ruined by rudeness. I'll never go back to that location read more

Staff is nice and the smoothies are good. Prices are also reasonable. Only critic I would say is that they freely like to talk polics at the front desk while I was sitting in the dining room. I think it's personal matter and shouldn't be loudly talked about. read more

Smoothies come out decent, but the side eyes and unfriendliness makes the 3 mile drive to another one worth it.

I have been coming to this location for almost 3 years. I would always get a Green Tea Tango with mango and love it here every time. I left the Tampa Bay Area almost 8 months ago and came back home to visit family. I stopped by to get a smoothie and I felt like I was a nuance to the blonde looking girl taking my order. She would roll her eyes and give me an attitude for God forbid making her do her job. She also didn't even blend my smoothie correctly, I had to drink/eat the entire smoothie with just chunks of mango. It ruined my experience because I don't have a Smoothie King in my area and I was hoping to have my favorite drink. read more

Had the worst smoothie king experience of my life just moments ago. Ordered my usual Strawberry Kiwi Breeze, walked out the door with it and ran through the Chick-fil-A drive through with my sister. We both tasted it and something was super off about it. Not sure if it was a bad kiwi or some old yogurt but it just had a super funky taste about it. I immediately came back in, the lady who took my order was super pleasant and was going to remake it for me. As she was about to the guy who made my smoothie came out and explained there's a "certain procedure" and that she could NOT remake my disgusting $6 smoothie I had just purchased and drank almost none of. Super sad because I was really looking forward to having my favorite smoothie, which was so bad I can't even drink it. Don't plan on coming back to this location again. read more

So there are two high school aged kids working here. Seems only one is working the other is busy chit chatting with a friend(also customer)from behind the counter. I don't know how that all works. read more

Sorry to say but at this location I've (1) had the door locked in my face (right at closing time), (2) been in line, had the person ahead of me served and then I was told "sorry but we're closed", and (3) bsold a $25-30 discount card and 24 hours later told it was no longer valid at this location (this was a few months ago and some blame for that goes to previous franchisee for selling it to me 24 hours prior). I read another review similar to the one that I am about to post. I absolutely love Smoothie King! This specific location has the atmosphere of a funeral being host by Ben Stein. No one is rude or anything, it's just so damn weird. If the male manager isn't there and there is someone else in line be prepared to wait longer than normal for your smoothie. They only work in first gear. I started driving to the SOHO location and only use this one as a last resort. read more

I have been coming to this location consistently for awhile now and have always had a pleasant experience until today . I'm writing this review because it applies to all three employees working at the time . I walked in and was greeted with not so friendly glares . Even after saying hello and asking how their day was I did not get a response . I told them I needed to a second to look at the menu as I wanted to try a smoothie I haven't tried before. Not one but two of the girls rolled their eyes and huffed as if I ( paying customer ) were interrupting the phone/computer/talk time . I ordered my smoothie and asked a few question about the add ons and got very vague short responses . I was scrolling through my phone and although the smoothie didn't take long the girls just sat it on the counter and walked away . Why ask for a name if you aren't going to call it out . At least say the smoothies ready ... as I said before, my experiences here are usually pleasant but today was just out of line . Hope things get better because this has always been my go to smoothie place but The service was not worth the 10$ smoothie ! read more

I've tried multiple smoothies from a smoothie in the morning for breakfast to a post workout protein smoothie and they've all tasted amazing. The smoothies are made quickly and their ingredients are healthier than most smoothie places. I downloaded their app and the rewards stack up really fast. Edited May 30 to three stars My husband asked me to stop to get him a smoothie. I explained to the guy the issues with the smoothies last time. He made an effort to correct the banana and it was much better. My daughter said she tasted bananas this time instead of pure water. I still can't go over three stars though. The other guy helping to make the smoothies was as full of attitude as ever. I wanted to give this place three chances before I commented. My husband loves their peanut butter smoothies so I said I would give the place a chance. First attempt, the guy taking orders was annoyed because I asked questions about some of the items on the menu. I didn't order myself anything. Next try, I tried a strawberry, banana, chocolate smoothie. I paid $7 for water. It was awful. My daughter wanted a banana smoothie. It was also completely watered down. A smoothie for a friend with us was also watered down. $16 on three waters.... My husband decided he wanted a smoothie today on our way to run errands. I ran in ordered his, and ordered my daughter her banana smoothie. I explained to the guy behind the counter that the last one had no flavor and asked that they not use water or as much ice. I took the drinks out to the car. Husband happy, daughter not so much. Another water smoothie. I get that the place is suppose to be healthy. Kudos to them for that. I just think $7 for a water is a bit crazy, especially when it comes with attitude from the people working behind the counter. I gave two stars because my husband and older daughter have always been happy with their choices. read more
