I haven't been to Smoothie King in a while but I wanted to try the Loaded Toast and a Smoothie Bowl. I was greeted upon entry and although small the space is open. I asked for recommendations and decided to try Avocado Toast w/ Egg and the PB Swizzle! The customer service was great! I had a reward for a $3.99 Loaded Toast w/ the purchase of a 20 oz smoothie or larger or a smoothie bowl. My QR code wasn't working and the manager swiftly came to help us figure it out. Turns out I couldn't get the egg toast. I had to order the regular avocado toast and add the egg. I received my order very quickly! The toast is made to order! I really enjoyed the avocado toast although it was a spread and not fresh avocado. The PB Swizzle was also pretty tasty! I was hesitant because Acai can be very bitter but it was sweet but not overpoweringly sweet. I'd like to try some other bowls and w/ 16 grams of protein I could see myself getting the toast again. read more

Smoothie King is located in the shopping plaza off of Abercorn street across from the Oglethorpe mall and right next door to Panera Bread. When I entered the store was empty, however they had only opened about 30 minutes prior. The store was incredibly clean and smelled fresh. The employee greeted me as soon as I walked in and she was extremely king. I ordered the pineapple strawberry smoothie and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the small which is 20 ounces and it came out to just over $7. I also saw that they had açaí bowls which I am super excited to try out. That'll be my next order. 10/10 read more

I called the store about 20 minutes before closing and asked the employee if she could prepare my order since I was only about 8 minutes away. She told me no. When I arrived in person, I discovered she had her baby in the store and was refusing to take any orders. This was very unprofessional and rude. This is a business is not a daycare or someone's home, and customers should still receive proper service during business hours. I will be contacting corporate about this experience. read more

I really enjoy Smoothie King and the different smoothie options that they have available. I usually do a mobile order but this time I came in to order because I needed it to be customized. The employee working the cash register was helpful to an extent but her energy and attitude was very low. This lovation had really taken a downward spiral. Ive contacted management twice in the past two months or so. First tome its about not offering bowls. I dont understand why bowls were made when the employees do t want to make them for some reason. The last straw was being called the B word by an employee. I contacted the manager who reach out but proceeded to tell me the employee was having a bad day. What can of bad day results in you calling a customer the B word for asking for help. Smoothie king had cameras so they know what happened. The manger offered me a free bowl and gift certificate. i can purchase my own bowl i would just like to be able to come in and recieve what they offer. Somet you can be out of something but not all the time. Not the middle of the day/week, something is wrong with that. The own is definitely not receiving the amount of income he could on those bowls, because they turn people away frequently. I was told by the employee that the manager is her friend, this is were the problem comes in. To call a customer the B word you have to be very comfortable. customer service is not a priority here anymore. Ive been coming to the Abercorn locations for years with no problem. The owner should be asking what changed. I didnt want to write this but i didnt feel the manger cared or took the disrespect serious. I give respect I expect it back. Oh and there were two people there, the one that cursed me out was in the back cutting feuit. Then came out ignoring me and other customers while the other girl worked alone. Hands down the worst Smoothie King I've ever been to. I just moved to the area and was looking for a new location to get my weekly $5 smoothie fix. Stopped by and it wasn't busy. There were 3 people waiting for their smoothies, nothing unusual. Nobody was in line so I walked up to the register and the tall skinny guy, manager I assume, was counting the drawer. Didn't even look up for 4-5 minutes as I was standing there, didn't utter a single word of "Hey, I'll be with you in just a moment" or anything. Just kind of ignored me until he was done counting. When he was about halfway done, the girl with face tattoos informed me they were out of bananas. Now, I used to manage a Smoothie King. It happens more than you'd expect, seeing as it's the main textural ingredient in a significant number of the smoothies. Not a big deal, we'd just run to the store and get more. Lucky for them, there's a Kroger literally 5min away. Nope, nobody was out getting more bananas. Key ingredient, who cares? Not them, that's for damn sure. Manager finally gets done counting the money, mumbles something that not even a superhero could have heard over the roar of the blenders. My wife orders her smoothie with vegan protein as she can't have whey. He looks at her like she's stupid, looks at the menu board and tells us he didn't think it had whey. There's literally a packet of "Gladiator protein" (which was in the smoothie in question) on the counter so I pick it up and right on the front "Whey Protein". He still seems confused but makes the swap. I order my smoothie, he tells me they're out of bananas. Yeah man, we were both standing here literally 3min ago when your coworker said that. I say it's fine without it. We go stand to the side and notice a line has built up, 9 people deep. Coworker peeks his head around the back window, sees the line and hides somewhere in the back. In the 20min it took us to get our smoothies, 2 other employees come out of the back and back into hiding. That's a total of 7 employees on the property, 2 of them making smoothies for 11 people, only 2 of the 4 blenders running at any given time. For some reason they felt the need to babysit the blenders until they finished. 7 of the 9 people behind me in line got their smoothies made before ours even began because of how they place and manage their tickets. Even better, the assumed manager started making the smoothie for my wife and grabbed the protein scoop OUT OF THE WHEY and used it for the VEGAN protein, contaminating the whole thing. Then, when the blender struggled with the smoothie (which this one can be difficult, you just add a splash of water and it blends right up), said out loud with no blenders running "F**K, come on!". On top of that, their waste was incredible. There was enough in the blender of my 20oz smoothie to make a whole second 20oz or more. All washed down the drain. Every single smoothie but one that I saw had similar amounts of waste. Again, I managed a location and some of the recipes always made a little extra but NEVER a whole 2nd smoothie's worth. Avoid this Smoothie King at all costs. I haven't tried the other two locations yet but they *have* to be better than this one. read more

Always out of things . I placed and order and went to pick it up and they were out of pineapple. I walked out with no refund . This should be illegal. I came here after the gym and ordered my usual-- Berry Keto Champ. I received my drink and was surprised that it tasted unusual... like a bitter berry smoothie! I don't think I've ever tasted anything so tart especially when you weren't expecting it. I politely asked the employee why it tasted so different? and she said (with an unnecessary attitude) that it was tart because it has raspberries and blueberries in it. Well duh! But I had informed her that I bought this same drink the day before and it tasted usual. Another employee said, well, it tastes different because we ran out of Keto Champ powder. Two things that ran through my head-- 1. what the hell did the other employee put in my drink because she said she put a different powder in it? Can I get an apology at the very least? And 2. if you were out of the Keto Champ powder, the one ingredient that makes up the name of the smoothie, why wouldn't you inform the customer upon order? I would have saved time, money, and more importantly, my tastebuds from that bitter taste. Then it took them forever and a half to process an Apple Pay refund; if you're going to offer contactless payments, i'd be ideal to be knowledgeable on how to process the reverse. The young man who was working was in the bad room having a conversation when I walked in; he came out, looked and didn't greet me. He did go back in the back to carryon that conversation while I reviewed the menu on the wall. He came back out said nothing, but I went ahead and gave him my order. He asked for my name, even though I was the only person in the store, but whatever. I got my drink and it's very tasty. This is easily the worst Smoothie King experience I've had. 3 employees in the back doing nothing, 4 up front completely unable to do the job efficiently. First, they were out of bananas, which is a main ingredient in most of the smoothies. With so many people working, someone should have gone to get more. There's a massive Kroger literally two blocks away. Next, the guy at the cash register spent a full five minutes counting cash before even acknowledging the growing line. When he spoke, he mumbled, so it was impossible to hear him over the blenders, and he seemed completely oblivious to what the ingredients were for the smoothies. Took about 20 minutes to finally get our smoothies, and they do not taste like the recipes we're used to from other Smoothie Kings. They also had the ratios way off for the ones they were making and had a ton of extra that they just tossed. A manager should be aware of what's going on here. My experience here was very unprofessional where the workers were making their friends a free smoothie ahead of the customers that they had. Then they allowed another customer to have my drink because they neglected to call out the name and when I let the young lady that worked there know that the women had taken my smoothie (when she clearly only ordered 2 but walked out with 3) she said it is going to be a minute to remake yours in a rude tone. She proceeded to make someone else's smoothie ahead of mine. Did I mention that the person who walked off with my smoothie was super rude to the cashier but she ended up getting hers before mine and taking mine in the process..... I guess I should have been rude to get my way. The young lady that was making the smoothies she had air pods in yes both so I don't know if she was even able to hear anyone. we came here to get a smoothie in the a.m. and there were two young girls working that were so sweet! My husband and I were going to share a drink and couldn't compromise so the girls gave us a few ideas. Our 17 month old was playing a flirt and the girls were playing with him. I thought it was sweet they poured our leftover smoothie into a shot glass sized cup and cut a hole in the lid for a shortened straw so he could have his own baby smoothie. Too cute! read more
