I find Smoothie King insanely expensive for what it is. My friend picked a couple of smoothies up for us the other day and I was unimpressed with the quality and the flavor. The smoothie was a strawberry-banana flavor (I can't keep all of the flavor names straight, nor do I care to try), and it wasn't as creamy and smooth as I would have hoped. The texture and consistency were more like a slushie than a smoothie. I miss the Blossom Bar across the street- they were also expensive, but I never had a bad smoothie from them. read more

I'm always excited to walk in and get my new smoothie for the morning but today was especially nice to walk into. I walk into a room full of happy employees that were more than happy to get me what I needed conversate w me and keep me laughing until my order was ready and even after John was especially amazing going above and beyond to make sure my order was exactly what I needed to be all while being humble and kind at the same time. It was quite the delight to get to walk into this restaurant this morning and it actually changed my grumpy mood I was in. Courteous and helpful customer service. We've been here during the week as well as on a Saturday afternoon and wait time was within reason. Between me and my husband, I've lost track of the different smoothies that we've tried. With the exception of the Gladiator Vanilla (off putting chemical taste), every order has been delicious, and fairly nutritious! We've been to other Smoothie King locations and they've all kept their establishment clean, organized and visually appealing. We'll be looking forward to our next visit. (It does seem as if customers who use the app or online system have a little difficulty with their order. I'm not sure why that's the case.) read more

i can't actually say a lot about this establishment. i was fresh out of surgery, and was starving, yet thirsty af. i was all drugged up from the anesthesia, but i had my friend get me the largest smoothie they had, and it did it for me 10/10, would recommend to anybody fresh out of surgery, and still a lil high on anesthesia. tasty af read more

This smoothie king on Charlestown Rd New Albany Indiana had HORRIBLE service today! I even had the manager of the store taking my order, she was extremely rude; it just took me by surprise & kind of caught me off guard. Okay so I'm still a relatively new customer, I started coming to smoothie king everyday about a week ago, and I was trying to find a new flavor today to try. I told her I normally get pineapple surf & was looking for a flavor kind of like that. No flavor was recommended, I ended up picking Strawberry Kiwi breeze, but when I received my receipt it said Pineapple surf. So instead of getting mad, I waited for her to make my sisters (a pineapple surf) to see if they were blended together. They called both of our names & handed us pineapple surfs. No problem! I didn't want to cause an ordeal over getting the wrong drink so we waited for our friends drink. Right after his drink was called out, the manager yells "strawberry kiwi breeze for Sarah". (It was actually still pineapple surf, manager threw both drinks away, even after I told her I would just keep the first drink given to me) So I walked over to try and talk with her about the mess-up & the receipt. She cut me off mid sentence with a very rude tone of voice to say, "just one of y'all explain, I can't understand all three of you". But we weren't all talking at the same time, we were confused on how she didn't understand the problem; andthe next person would try to start explaining again when she didn't understand the 1st person. So my sister then said, she got rang up a pineapple surf, but wants a strawberry kiwi breeze? Manager very angrily said "I know that!" Yet she already made the drink wrong twice & rang it up wrong. I asked for just the pineapple surf back. It was fine, I would be okay and didn't want her to waste ingredients and re-make the smoothie... She turned right around & threw them both away. And said, "it will only take a minute". So now I'm thinking, okay third times the charm!! HA was I wrong. She sat the drink down behind the counter after calling out my name, just for spite I think, and to my surprise, made a pineapple surf for the third time in a row. Now after everything that had happened, I believe she did it on purpose&to just be spiteful. How and why would you get that upset, when it was your mistake in the first place?! And try to make the customers feel bad, when they were trying to save you money &time by taking the mess-up you made?! Ridiculous. And more than likely I will have to drive 40minutes to the nearest smoothie king, instead of going to the New Albany Indiana smoothie king 15 minutes down the road from me. read more

Welp, it's flu season and after a long day of working with the public I was told smoothie King was having a $5 Friday for medium smoothies. My first thought was to take advantage of this offer to get an immune builder mixed berry smoothie. I was greated with a smile and hello as soon as I walked in which is always refreshing after a long day of work. I of course went with the mixed berry immune builder and added an energy boost to it. Please be aware for this $5 special it does not include the add-ons such as energy boost, probiotics etc. It was a pretty quick and pleasant experience. More choices then I want to make but hey something for everyone as not all of have the same tastes. About average price to a Starbucks treat or comparable place. I have been to Smoothie King in other location, Madison, Alabama and Virginia. This place is ok, but I am not sure about real fruits. Yes, they use fresh banana, but other fruits looked like canned or bagged soaked in syrup. For some of 20 oz drink to have 84 grams of sugar does not sound healthy but I go there when I crave sugar and want to fool myself for selecting a "healthy choice." Parking situation can definitely be improved. I wish they had a Jamba juice nearby. read more

The staff is generally friendly and helpful and the smoothies are made to order from real fruit, not powdered mixes. They also have a decent variety of protein bars, supplements, and healthy snacks. I definitely wish that we had a non-chain smoothie bar in Southern Indiana, but until then I'll happily patronize this Smoothie King. read more

A little shop with o atmosphere tucked away in a little strip mall, this place offers a good treat or meal either way you look at it. And like all its peers they have the standard flavors, banana, peanut butter, different fruits and an assortment of the standard upgrades, protean powder etc. The foods good and the services, is fine. The shop however is cold and open leaving few places to sit or talk with friends. It has the feel of a get in get out type of shop, with a splash of sterile hospital clean tropics in it with the bright colors and cold open spaces. But if you n a run or need something quick and tasty they are a good choice. There are not to many smoothies shops around here and I miss them. Smoothie King is a good replacement. read more
