Your staff is closing 20-30 mins before closing time on a Friday night. When I asked for the managers name a short women with brown hair refused then shut the window in my face and locked it. I workout at exygon and I visit often after a workout in the evenings once even 3 mins before closing and it wasn't an issue. this incident occurred 2/13 at 8:42 pm. If closing at earlier times is a new store policy I would recommend updating store hours or posting a sign reflecting this information on the menu. Thanks. read more

Normally I would give this location 5 stars. However, the staff working today on 2/24/21 was not 5 stars. I ordered my usual smoothie... had to wait 20 minutes and pull up (not a huge deal to pull up), 2 cars behind me got their 20 oz before me? And then when I finally get my smoothie, and it's not what I ordered, tastes like spinach water, and was EXTREMELY disappointing. A waste of money. I threw it away after 3 sips. read more

Terrible choice for me to pick the Vegan Mango Kale "green" smoothie. It seemed to me that they were short on "frozen" kale or the recipe came straight from the label of a canister of gym protein. Directions: A few squirts of flavor, a few spoons of powder, lots of ice. Smoothie King should stick to what they do best, the fruit smoothies which are mostly composed of frozen fruit. When it comes to supposedly "Wellness blends" smoothies it comes grossly short. This Mango Kale one is mostly a concoction of syrup flavors, powdered stuff and lots of ice. Never saw the attendant put Apple Juice in the blender. The mango fruit was never used, the flavor came from a few squirts of flavor which gave an aftertaste of chewing gum. The "banana" flavor came from the almond protein powder and the green color came from at the most two scoops of frozen greens.(I cannot vouch for it to be kale) What a health and flavor ripoff. 300 Calories for a Green juice? Even a child knows it's a sugar bomb. The flavor is terrible, one can feel the sugary syrup. Healthy? Natural? From processed powders and flavor syrups? Give me a break. Methinks not is about right! I'm even willing to go to a Smoothie King in Houston and re-try this particular one just to verify whether the attendant in the Nederland location screwed me over, or it is simply the worst product Smoothie King could come up with. read more
