This location is always hit or miss. They have messed up my order a couple times, but for the most part they are always happy to fix it. The service is always pretty great, but the wait time is a little long. I usually have to calculate 15-20 minutes in if I'm going to stop here before work bc I know they like to take their time. If I wait any longer they usually give me a larger size for the price of a small or try something to make up for the wait bc they know me by now. A few days ago I went by and they couldn't make smoothies with frozen yogurt or ice cream and the day before yesterday the girl said they had been out of ice since 1 bc of their ice machine and it was 6:30 pm... I'm not exactly sure how that happens and how they stayed open that long after it broke, but I will continue to give them the benefit of the doubt because I understand how things can be and they represent this location pretty well on a customer service level as long as you are patient with them. So if you have the time, it's probably worth it! read more

I love Smoothie King but recently this location has gone down hill. You have to repeat your order 5 times and they still get it wrong. You ask for add-ins and pay for them and they still leave them out. read more

The service is always slow at this location. Need more/better employees maybe ..............

Amazing customer service from Rachel! Drinks are always super yummy. Will be coming back!

I pulled up to order at 8:48pm. I knew they closed at 9pm. The lady was rude to me and complained about how she was "ready to go home already!". Handed me my blueberry peanut butter smoothie and the top was no on right then took it off and threw the top on the ground outside. She then got a new top then handed the smoothie to me with such attitude. Not only was she annoyed at me but the smoothie was not cold but warm and it looked like an old cup (not sure why Happy Friday was written it). I will never go to another Smoothie King again. She could not even handle such a small thing to do! Her coping skills show horribly and she need to not work in customer service. She was very tall she was definitely not average height just to describe her. She needs to go and be gone. read more

They ask for tips in a drive thru. Pay your workers accordingly so they don't have to do this. Update: The smoothie was trash as well. It's a plain strawberry smoothie, how do you mess that up. I understand why you under pay your workers now. read more

Love this place always on time, and makes the best smoothie. Definitely my favorite smoothie king.

Omg. What is wrong with this staff. They are so rude, short, and over all just pissed off,, y'all need to fix the attitude... get right or get out.. who is the manager? Cause this starts and ends with them ! I hate to think this is a corporate culture.. if so.. wow read more

Arrived at this location about 45 minutes before closing. One car was ahead of me waiting for their order. Tried placing an order at the drive-thru speaker and I heard someone say something, but couldn't understand them. After a few tries to get someone to take my order, I pulled up to the pickup window. Nobody was there. I knocked on the window a few times. Nobody answered. I then parked the car and went to the walk-up window. I could see someone inside cleaning, but was still being ignored. I knocked on the window and the staff member yelled that they were closed. I told him that online it shows they should still be open. He then came up to the window aggressively and yelled, "we're closed, go away!" SO RUDE! Stay away from this location! read more

Should be zero stars. Need to clean house at this location. Just went to the drive thru at 2:21PM on March 30th. Was told they weren't taking orders bc they were on break. I asked if they were serious and they say yes, and that they'd be off break at 2:30. When I told them that's no way to run a business, the response "we do not care". A) assuming there is more than one person working, breaks should never be concurrent B) if you're open, stop your break, serve the customer, and resume your break after that. I drove away because anyone working with this attitude is likely to spit in my food or worse. If this is the culture you're allowing or enabling at your establishment you just need to close up business. And based on other recent reviews it sounds like this is not an isolated incident. read more

I will say that I have never been treated more poorly at a restaurant than the Smoothie King on Old Hickory. I was in the drive up line about 20 minutes before the store closed. There were two cars in front of me at 7:40 on Dec. 17th, I heard some type of automated message on the screen and then never could get a person to answer after I sat there for more than 10 minutes. I then went around to the window and was treated so rudely when I asked why my order was never taken. At this point it was 7:57 and she said she would not take my order. She also offered up that she didn't care if I would leave a bad review about my experience when I asked for the managers card. She sure gave me a great idea to make sure I posted about this. I will be messaging corporate, and I hope this woman does not keep her job. I can't imagine the owner would want her treating people this way. read more

This location is terrible... everything from waiting time to customer service is horrible. Extremely disappointing!

Terrible. I was drinking my smoothie and there were little plastic pieces I kept sipping on. I didn't even end up finishing my smoothie because every sip there was another piece of plastic. Very disappointed. read more

I came here about 15-20 minutes before they closed. There were several other cars in the drive thru line, but no one was taking orders. The employees were inside, had AirPods in, and were cleaning up. If I was the only customer there I would have maybe understood, but there were at least 3-4 other cars. One guy knocked on the window and they still ignored us. I tried calling them and the line just rang with no answer. I was not surprised to see that this store only had 2 stars. read more

This is the perfect place to grab smoothie king. It's a tiny, and I mean tiny, drive thru building in Nippers Corner by the State Farm/Sports Clips and Bojangles. It's a weird set up as they actually have two lines, both on each side of the building. Service is fast and prices are right in line with other places (I believe it's franchise-able). I always get the 20oz vanilla slim and trim and have yet to be disappointed. read more

To the owner of this location, Please take the time to train your staff in customer service, how to make a smoothie and how to hustle. So tired of nasty attitudes, horrible tasting smoothies and waiting over 20 minutes. I will not be returning until I read positive reviews for this location. You are losing so much business. Please see the other reviews for this location. Sad. read more

Took too long to make smoothies and lady had no customer service and was extra my rude.

The worst business ever. In line at 1:30. Two cars I front of me. And they tell me they are closed. Every time I come here I get let down. I'm reporting to smoothie king directly. As I'm leaving a worker is outside on a phone. Another girl worker comes out and demands her phone. They literally start fighting over the phone. read more

I drove up at 2 PM on a Saturday and was told they could not serve me because they had been too busy that morning and it was "too messy." I wonder if the owner knows their employees randomly turn customers away during operating hours. read more

This location is disorganized and in chaos every time I've been there. Even pre-ordering online doesn't help. You drive up and they not only don't have the order ready. They don't even know what you ordered. What the heck? Will never go back to this location. read more

Holy damn what else are they doing in their? They have to grow the fruit or something? It's always a 10-15 min wait with this store.

went there and like 5 minutes after I was throwing up never go back to there ever like what did they put in the smoothie I was throwing up the whole day after that smoothie read more

If you survive your 20+ minute wait you'll get a different smoothie every time even when you always order the same thing. Sometimes the blenders will be "down" as noted in other reviews. The staff has always been nice, I've never had a problem there but they need to pick up the pace. One time someone came out and took the orders of the 8 cars in line and that shaved off a few minutes of wait time, but not really much of a difference. I don't say this lightly and like to give people the benefit of the doubt but I have given them quite a few chances. I'm probably not going back. read more

First ever yelp. They are soooooooo slow. I have ordered smoothies and the cup wasn't even full after waiting for 20 minutes. Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE. Smoothie King is my spot, but my experience today was unbelievable. My drink was not blended good at all. It had huge fruit chunks that didn't come through the straw. It also had big ice chunks! Also the guy taking the order was slow. Won't be back there! read more

This is by far the worst smoothie king I've ever been to. I've gotten to it twice now and the first time I had to wait approximately 15 minutes at a drive-through for my smoothie when I was the only car there even then the size was wrong and the smoothie was wrong but it was OK because I was in a hurry and I had to except it. However on this past trip to smoothie king I was just really tired and I wanted something quick and easy so I stopped by to give them another chance I got a medium green tea tango waited about 12 minutes for it then parked and tasted it it's the worst thing I think I've ever had from smoothie king even though I got the same smoothie this morning in Brentwood and it was amazing their smoothies are consistently bad the service is always horrible, it's a horrible smoothie king. read more

I'm currently at this Smoothie King waiting on my smoothie to be remade. First of all, I waited in line approximately 20 minutes to get the smoothie. I pulled out of the drive-thru, took a sip, and realized how poorly my smoothie was made. I circled back around and informed the young man making the smoothie that it was not good and asked that he make a replacement. He's since served 5 other customers and I'm still sitting here waiting. I will NEVER visit this Smoothie King again. read more
