I decided to come back and try and Açaí bowl since they were running a sale on them. Unfortunately it is nothing like Playa Bowls. The strawberries they use are not fresh and they don't fill up the bowls at all. Even with the discount, it was $11.50 and I don't feel as though It is justified based on the amount in the bowl. They don't have enough fresh fruit options. I ordered a smoothie/juice that I wanted Apple in and it wasn't even fresh apple. It was a syrup. They don't have cucumbers, celery or anything like that. Very limited selection very few fresh real fruits and vegetables. It all seems to be syrups liquids and powders. read more

This location has started to go downhill. I'm not sure if it's because the manager is never there when I go, or the staff isn't properly trained. I used their app to order a smoothie that they are promoting, with a discount if using and paying via the app. The person working there that afternoon made my smoothie correctly, adding the extra item that I requested, yet failed to apply the discount from the app. She didn't know how to fix the charge to my credit card, and of course, since the app automatically charges the credit card on file, you cannot alter the charge. The app has no way to contact support, and I just felt like the app is no longer worth it. I don't frequent this location often and may not return at all as the app isn't applying my reward discounts either now. Oh well, there's about 400 calories saved out of my diet! read more

And you won't need to clean up the inevitable mess you're going to make in your kitchen. I'm a California girl who loves Jamba Juice. I recently moved to New Jersey and unfortunately they do not have those here. My boyfriend brought me to smoothie king and I was surprised by the wide variety of smoothies and options they have. I love that they use real fruit. Before two Fridays ago, I never went to Smoothie King because I once went on their website and was overwhelmed by the amount of choices. My bf and I have been on a smoothie kick the last few weeks ( not always the healthiest choice but you pick your vices). We went on a Friday night, and fortunately for us, there wasn't that many people in the store waiting to order. I was honest with the cashier and told her that I had never been here, have no idea and was a little overwhelmed. She provided some great recommendations and I ended up going with the Angel Food and adding peanut butter. I was going to go with the 20 oz but she let me know that it was $5 dollar Friday, which means all 32 oz are $5, making it less expensive than the smaller option. SIGN ME UP! It was delicious and my bf really loved his kiwi strawberry smoothie as well. This last Friday, I half jokingly said "it's $5 Friday!" and my bf instantly was in for Smoothie King. When we walked in, the same cashier from the week before was there and said "yay, you guys came back!" I typically think I'm invisible alll the time, so it was nice to be recognized. (not like the guy at qdoba who knew I always ordered guac and when I didn't said "but you always get guac!" ) Point is, really delicious smoothies, lots of choices, and a helpful staff who will help you on your way if you're lost with the options . read more

Me son went to smoothie king in Marlton last Tuesday and ordered a smoothie with almond butter. He specifically told the girl he can't have peanut butter because he is allergic and she gave him the wrong smoothie that did have peanut butter. After 2 sips of the smoothie he immediately had an allergic reaction, his throat closed up, he couldn't breathe, he was vomiting and heart rate decreased and had to go to the emergency room. The next day I called and let them know what happened to my son and asked for the owner to call me. They did call me back but didn't leave a voicemail. I've called back 4 times and still have not heard from the owner. If you or your child had a peanut allergy PLEASE BE CAREFUL this is life threatening and apparently the owner doesn't take this seriously! read more

Stopped at Smoothie King for a high calorie drink to aid in maintaining weight during chemo therapy for pancreatic cancer. I ordered a strawberry Hulk, which was delicious (took an extra one home). They accommodated my request to use Lactaid milk. Nice place, nice drink preparation specialists. I'll be back! read more

I've come to this Smoothie King location multiple times after the gym. The first couple times were of exceptionally poor service and most recently, was told at the door at 8:50, "we are closed." (They close at 9) Today I came in again at 8:50 only to be given a dirty look at the door. I ordered and asked the girl who was working, who looked angry, "how her day was going, (the same girl that locked me out at 8:50) She replied, "just trying to get the f**k out of here" If in the area, many better options, including the Smoothie King in Voorhees. I love smoothies. I fell in love with Jamba Juice when I went to Hawaii but this place, although slightly different, is just as good. Service here is average depending on who's working. My smoothies have not disappointed though so that's what matters most to me. read more

Received an email for a BOGO smoothie. Went to smoothie king and showed the employee the email. She informed me if it doesn't have a bar code she can't accept it. I said it seems unreasonable to not honor the email, it's not my fault it doesn't include a bar code. She informed me the problem was between smoothie king and myself. I pointed out she was representing smoothie king as I left. I called customer service and never got a response. Smoothie king is overpriced and staffed with simpletons.
