I placed an online order and my items weren't completed at the same time. I ended up eating my toast while I was waiting for my smoothie so it didn't get colder. There were two slices of egg and the rest were bits and pieces. As I was sitting there, I looked at the floors and they were dirty. They don't move furniture to get small debris. The garbage was near full at 10 am. As I grabbed my smoothie (which was actually delicious BTW), the floors behind the counter were just as dirty as out in the customer area. Are your food prep areas and blenders not clean as well?? read more

This location might be the slowest I've been to. Despite there being no one else in line, it will still take 15-20 min just to get an over watery "smoothie". At least the staff is friendly, just poorly managed. There must be the same manager as the Chipotle across the street lol. read more

I order two bowl the lady tried to give me a bowl that they had made hours ago and when she noticed she didn't have no blueberries she didn't communicate that didn't try to substitute the blueberries or anything and to spend 27 on two bowls and receive this is crazy they always out off thing I'm done read more

I just came back from the drive up window at Smoothie King. The employee, Isabella tried to pocket my three dollars worth of change. When I asked her for my money back she said, "Oh, I thought you said you were going to leave me a tip." I never said any such thing. After she handed me back my three dollars which she was palming; I said, "no". I then drove away. I tried contacting them, but they didn't answer the phone. I will never go back to that store in Livonia, Michigan again. read more

This location closed at 9 on Saturday we got there right before 8 and they did serve Acai bowls after 8 which is bogus if you are open for a whole hour read more

Lemon ginger spinach to top off our healthy middle eastern platter. Haven't had this fantastically flavorful smoothie since last fall. Ordered my usual from the drive-thru. The guy that took my order seemed less than thrilled to be taking our order. We got a 20 ounce container. A woman took our money and told us to pull up and someone would bring out our drink to the car. It's so good, cold, slightly tart, sweet and refreshing. read more

come here, literally every week and spend a minimum of $25-$30 each time. Because we come here so often, I know exactly how the smoothies taste when they made correctly. My smoothie was made completely wrong - it was obvious they put in way too much ice for the ratio of the mix. It was so icy. The color wasn't even the normal dark brown color that it should be. It was a light frosty white and they were giant almond pieces in the smoothie-- I couldn't even suck them up the straw. I did not have the time to go back and immediately tell them because I had to get to work so I decided I would just try calling them - I called every hour wondering if maybe their phone lines were just temporarily down because nobody would answer the phones. I simply wanted it to be noted that this was not drinkable and that I wanted them to replace it with my usual order that I love. I decided I would go in today and see if they would replace the smoothie that was not correct. Instead, the general manager, "Gavin" accused me of lying --saying there was no way he could prove I didn't drink the smoothie-- any smart general manager would have looked at my loyalty account and saw just how much money we spend in a month alone at Smoothie King to determine I'm not out for a free handout, I just want what I paid for. A smart general manager would also recognize that camping. A smoothie once for me would ensure that I would be continuing to frequent that location and spend every single week. Because of the horrible customer service we will be going to the 7 mile location instead, which is a shame as this one is closer to our house. What's really sad is that it was the general manager who spoke to me so poorly and unprofessionally and I'm hoping eventually their regional team will realize that they have the wrong people in those positions if this is how they handle loyalty patrons. Gavin made a poor choice today when he said "I can offer you 15% off but I can't be sure you didn't drink the entire thing"-- he lost on years of sales over the price of one smoothie. read more

The service not so great! I ordered a banana boat with peanut butter and coco add. And they basically threw in a gigantic glob of peanut butter, making it extra thick. read more

I just want to start by saying I am not a fan of smoothies. I've had a mango one once years ago from church but every smoothie after that was downright horrible. I had no choice but to go in to Smoothie King today, and reluctantly told the employee about not liking smoothies but I like strawberries and kiwi. She whipped me up THE BEST SMOOTHIE EVER!!!! I had bought a water because I assumed the smoothie would disappoint but I didn't even get to open it. I drank that smoothie so fast! Thank you!!! Finally found the one place where I can get a smoothie that doesn't leave chalk or seeds in my mouth read more

Love this place! Located at the Wonderland strip mall on the southwest corner of Middlebelt and Plymouth it's so super convenient. There is indoor seating to enjoy your picks after placing your order at the walk up counter. The staff is friendly and ready to explain your options, answer any questions about the menu or freshly prepare your favorite blends. Hand crafted smoothies with 4 specialty menus. For those trying to lose or maintain weight try the slim blends menu. If you're going for the opposite effect and you want gains or need to recover from a workout then stick with the fitness menu. Next there's the wellness menu for those with specific dietary restrictions or preferences. There are even vegan options! Lastly there are the break time blends for those of us who just flat out want a treat. There's also a kid menu for the little ones. And there are various add on enhancements to give your smoothies that extra boost. Some smoothies have added sugar or can be used a meal replacements and they are clearly marked. The recipe choices are are endless! If you're on a health kick, want to lose weight or just treat yo'self then be sure to stop by Smoothie King! read more

Still out of smoothie bowls. The person at the window says their GM didn't place the order in time and they're waiting on that to happen. Way to run a business read more

02/29 @ 11:09AM, By far the WORST Smoothie King location, I've been here twice and each time I'm there, it takes forever for someone to talk on the speaker. I started to question if they were even open. There was no one ahead of me either so it was very confusing. the girl who finally greeted me was the complete opposite of friendly. When I finally got to the window to get my smoothie, i could hear her talking to someone, I'm assuming she had an AirPod in and was on the phone because I didn't see any other employees with her... but she was definitely having a conversation. I said hi to her and she didn't respond, she just handed me something that looked like an icee from 7Eleven. So I asked her if the smoothie could be blended more to be smoother because it was very icy. She didn't apologize, or acknowledge the problem, she just looked at me with irritation and then took the smoothie and walked off. I've never written a review of a business before in my life. BUT TODAY IS THE DAY! 0/5!!!!!!! The employees have attitudes and then they're giving us BELOW STANDARD SMOOTHIES. I drove off without getting my smoothie re-done because her attitude was so foul I couldn't trust her actions. I love the Smoothie King brand but this location is just bad. read more

Like others on this review it's always something wrong when you go here. The past 3 times I've come for smoothie Bowles they're out, which would be fine if they wernt a main item on their menu that they were still advertising read more

Went to this location twice each time I've went they are always out of something. They were out of smoothie bowls. The customer service is poor and the drive line to even order was 20 mins. 0/5 I don't recommend this location. I would recommend Southfield location. read more

This place used to be fine even with rude employees who refused to say how are you or have a good day. But in the last month everytime I go here the wait averages 20 minutes with no cars or 1 car in front of me. It takes forever for someone to come to the speaker for the drive thru and for one drink it somehow takes them 15-20 minutes to complete. Not sure if it lack of training or poor managers or what but I do not go here anymore. Worst service I've ever seen especially for a drive thru, which should be quick. Also, to note any drink I order never have add one and is very simple so the fact it takes them so long to make my drink as well is very sad. read more

I ordered a smoothie through DoorDash. I got the smoothie and went about my day. About 30-45 minutes later I had only drank about 1/5 of the smoothie and started feeling sick. I got violently sick and then looked in the smoothie only to see it was covered in mold. I sent a inquiry to DoorDash and got the refund then called the restaurant to let them know something went bad. The lady on the fold said "all our food is fine, that wasn't mold" and hung up. read more

Absolutely terrible service. They take forever. They speak to you rudely, they don't close the lids, give you the right straws. Every other location is better than this, I'd suggest just skipping it all together and going to tropical smoothie. read more

Smoothie King - Always check the what's blending before you order - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Livonia, Michigan

This place used to be amazing when they first opened. Now I'm sitting here waiting to order with no one in line and haven't been spoken to in over 20 mins. The only reason I waited is because my daughter loves there smoothies. What a shame. I would recommend to not even waste your time with this place. read more

I'm not sure what people are complaining about, I'm a regular on the east side and was on this side of town and the ultra negative reviews and thought I'd have to see how terrible this place really is. I placed my order (everything went as usual), I got to the window and was greeted by a pleasant woman (again, totally normal), the price was about a dollar more than what I usually pay (prices fluctuate based on a host of factors so I get it), I got my drink and tried it and it was perfect (again, totally normal). So for all the negative reviews as far as I'm concerned this location meets the typical high standards the other locations do and if I'm on this side of town again I'll happily spend the extra dollar to swing by. read more

I'm giving them three stars because the smoothies are good but they are so slow making them and customer service is inconsistent. One time, I was told at the speaker that there would be a ten minute wait just to order. They often have you pull ahead to a space and wait, even when there's nobody in line behind you. I've been the only person in the drive thru several times when they asked me at the window what I ordered. Another time I ordered a 32oz smoothie and they only filled it about 3/4 of the way. The management blames Covid for the slow service. read more

My smoothie was horrible!! I seen little black spots in my green smoothie! The worst location ever. They need to be shut down asap! I will never order from here again read more

Good smoothies but it takes forever! They have a nice selection. I hope they figure out a better system.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I pulled up to the speaker and somebody greeted me to take my order. I proceeded to order and then no one answered back. I pulled up to the window and no one came to answer. I then parked and walked up to the door where I saw at least 3 team members laying around at the front. They all pointed to the drive thru window because their lobby was closed. But I gestured that no one was there to help. I went through the drive thru again and the line was backed up. The girl, at the window was not pleasant and sounded bothered she had customers. The only team members name I was able to get was Dae. read more

How many mf tries does it take this smoothie king to give me an UNSWEETENED mf smoothie? 5 tries. I get unsweetened every time and YALL HAVE MADE IT SWEETENED EVERY FREAKING TIME! I am so sick of pulling out your drive thru and going right back through it. What's wrong with these employees? We just pulled out & my husband literally YELLED and PRONOUNCED reeeeeal slowly 3!!!!times!!!! that it was to be unsweetened, she even said "Unsweetened?" and guess tf what. SWEET. It is Saturday 8/14/21 at 1:35pm and I just left this place. I'll start first by saying the smoothies are very good, this is my third time but my third one was made incorrectly, although still delicious. The drive through young lady today has a terrible attitude, wish I would have gotten her name to report to the manager. She asked me what I ordered and then I paid for my smoothie and then she started screaming to her coworkers asking where it was, stating that she made a F***ing Caribbean Way and where the F*** is it. She then turned back to me and told me to pull forward to which I calmly responded there isn't anywhere to go there are two cars in front of me waiting for their orders. She snaps back, they about to leave and slams the window shut. The young man that brought my smoothie was polite but I could tell he was being yelled at by this bully. Please please train your staff on customer service. read more

I'm just angry because I go at 8:45 and they supposedly close at 9:00, and couldn't take my order? I need better communication then. Because I'm being told that with a clearly updated piece of paper in my face that says 9. If you need me to re write your hours then I can.... it takes 2 minutes to make a smoothie. Personally I need an explanation. Tell me you had to use the sh*tter or something. read more

This place was good for maybe a month when it first opened... I've had some great smoothies at this location so I know that the quality or service now is terrible. I have pulled up to an empty store to still wait in line for 10-15 mins for a poorly mixed smoothie. I've pulled up and was told they're out of ingredients for making smoothies. I've notice the same employee at the window taking my money with no gloves and then going back to the mixer to pour and give me my smoothie. All Very Unsanitary actions. I can't understand how something so simple to make can be an issue. I know I should've stopped going to this location after the 1st or 2nd mistakes but u see an empty line and it's like why not?? Enough said I'm done with this location and I feel it's a waste of space. Put a real healthy smoothie restaurant in this location with employees who care enough about themselves so they aren't serving u crap and management that is about quality. read more
