The owner Joe, was one of the first top nutritionists in the United States. I met him through my chiropractor/acupuncturist. Joe has always helped me with many problems over the years. He recommended a product that helped me loose 80 pounds when i was in college and go from a 44 waist to a 34 waist. His Fish Oil pills are the best i have ever seen they really work for my condition, as well as his supervite is the only multivitamin that has produced great results for me with whole body healing, from weight loss, energy and kept me feeling great. As much as I would like to support a locally owned business, I just can't justify it with the type of service they offer in the store, their selection, and their pricing.

As it happens, they did have the product I was looking for (white chia seeds) but for the most part if you're looking for groceries neither of these stores are your first option. You need to go to Whole Foods, Natural Grocer, or the surprisingly complete health food departments at many local Hy-Vees! Service was friendly and efficient -- the woman at the counter could go right to the shelf where the white chia was located and the price was OK (it's very popular these days, it seems, so it's not inexpensive). If this location isn't near where you live, DO call them before going to save yourself a wasted trip. But if you're looking for supplements you should be happy camper here or at Emerald Forest! The shop is in a strip mall at the SW corner of 151st and Mur-Len in Olathe.
