Smoothies with power-shots and wheatgrass to ostrich jerky to give you that extra boost. You might find that you'll need the latter to fill your stomach if you're like me. Their smoothies cost similarly to an entrée at a quick sit-down restaurant. And that's expensive when you consider what you're truly getting in the smoothie. They claim to use real fruit and they really do, but frozen and probably not organic and mass farmed fruits. It's to keep costs low, I get that. We move on to the marketing hyped enhancers such as energizers, protein shakes and diet suppressers. Ok, add $1 for every enhancer you choose. Most of these enhancers are squirts of oils and not truly what you would expect. For example, one of those squirts are "turbinado," which is basically sugar. You'd think that the fruits would have enough sweetness to them, but we are incorrect. That almost adds 75 grams of carbs to your shake that is supposedly supposed to be healthy. I'm not a nutritionist, but that sounds kind of unhealthy. I always ask for no-sugar added and just the basic ingredients which is what makes them Smoothie King. You have the ability to make what you want, if you know what you want. Service here is great and fast even during their peak hours. read more

Unexcepta .. Nasty watery and disgusting.. no thank you. If a Powder smoothie is what you want go to smoothie king. They wouldn't remake my smoothie!! And they don't give your money back!! This place is a disgrace in Huntersville off exit 25 Sam furr rd. I don't recommend. read more

Terrible. Ice and water with no taste. This was supposed to be a chocolate shredder ... gross! read more

They have the biggest smoothies! Love the peanut butter one and add whey! You can also substitute with a sugar substitute if you are watching your sugar. Their salads are good too! read more

My smoothie is practically ice and water. I got a gut health smoothie and it's typically thick but it was so watered down with ice that there's hardly flavor. On top of the workers looking like they were in the most miserable mood. I get it, I work too, but at least make the smoothie right, I don't want to basically pay 8 bucks for blended up ice with a hint of strawberry. read more

Christian makes the best smoothies and knowledge on items to help! had a great time at this location thank you!

I've been in a few times and I've always been impressed by the staff and the smoothies. The first time I came in the employee took the time to explain the menu and make suggestions, I really enjoyed my selection and my 20 month old grandson really enjoyed his. The next time I came in an employee explained the specials and again helped me make a delicious selection. I'm looking forward to going back read more

They didn't have the menu up for their pumpkin flavor smoothies so it's damn near impossible to order the right one. She told me the names and ingredients like I could recall everything she said. Then I told her I didn't like it she threw it out like she was going to make me a new one and didn't make me another one. Saying there was nothing she could do for me. Very non chalant horrible customer service. So now I'm out of money and no smoothie. All the other smoothie kinda I've went to would have never gave me an issue. How about have a menu of the new flavors. And teach employees good customer service. read more

Consistently good, fast to turn around orders. I always park on the street side for quick ingress / egress.

The Ginger female that works at the smoothie king saw me fall on the way out and drop my smoothie. I got a 20 ounce six dollar smoothie and then it fell out of my hands onto the floor. she saw it happened. she said to get a new one i had to pay for it. very rude. terrible customer service read more

Customer service was great, the lady ringing me up was able to recommend a smoothie that I loved. There was very fast service and the smoothie was very thick and filling. read more

I don't like to give bad reviews but on more than 2 occasions now and after spending 20 plus dollars each visit I won't be back. It's a hit or miss on the quality of the smoothies. This last time I ordered 2 large and they both were nothing but froth. Not even cold. The person making them needs better training on the recipes. Now that this has happened several times to me and also to my son I won't visit this location again. It's a shame they are in my backyard and conveniently located but I'm tired of paying the expensive prices for crap smoothies. read more

Best deal in the area for smoothies on Friday. The staff is great and always friendly. They have a pumpkin spice smoothie that is really good! I usually order the gladiator with banana and peanut butter with chocolate protein powder. read more

Smoothie King - $5 Friday! - Health Markets Near Me - Huntersville, North Carolina

It is what it is. Over-priced smoothies that are mostly fruit but plenty of the juices come from concentrates. Helpful when hungover. Its a chain, which I normally don't review, but I checked-in and should probably complete this whole transaction. The service was great, as usual, some random high school/ freshmen in college working the place. Have great suggestions, but please keep your "health advice" to yourself till you get a degree in it. When choosing my smoothie I try to go for a little sugar as possible, plenty in the fruit no need to add. I also look for actual fruit instead of from concentrates. Both of those things together are hard to find at this "healthy" smoothie place and for $6-9 a pop I think you could just throw some fresh bananas and berries in blender for me. Just got to teeter and buy frozen blueberries, raspberries, and some ripe bananas. Throw that in the blender with some almond milk and some kind of nut butter. Easy, cheaper, and MUCH better for you. read more

Location is kind of dirty, smoothies are fine though I guess. But staff was kind of rude and manager is kind of an ass. Probably just gonna get my smoothies somewhere else, even though I'm closer to this one. read more

Smoothies are good but it's drowned out by the filth on the walls, equipment, floors, and counters. I'm not sure when the last time it was xleanNot to mention, the girl working the line. She looked like she just rolled out of bed and had a disgusting shirt on- stains and crust. Not appetizing in the least. Not sure what's going on here since it used to be clean. read more

I had a very unpleasant experience today at the smoothie King ...I believe the woman's name was Kristine. She may be the manager. I ordered a smoothie and the cost was going to be almost $10 and I didn't realize it. I changed my mind and said I'd like the cheaper smoothie. She then basically made fun of me and tried to play it out as if she was joking in front of other customers saying that the girl behind the counter had already prepared it and now she has to throw it away. I don't care if she has to throw away a teaspoon of peanut butter, I have the right to change my mind. You guys make a lot of money on your overpriced smoothies! I thought it was extremely unprofessional to be shaming me about it.. awful. I've already talked to corporate and they agreed it was extremely unprofessional. read more

I was there to get smoothie however, the girl that took my orders did a good job and excellent sign language (im deaf) wonderful having someone communicating with me however the young guy that was making smoothie had attitudes and snide remarks on his face because evidently he hasn't seen gay man before i feel that he was not friendly at all .. gave me this funny looks read more

The workers here are great! Always polite and helpful. I love that they have $5 smoothie Friday's and they have so many options to choose from. The only downside is that I think the smoothies are a little expensive throughout the week. If they were maybe a dollar less, then i think it would be more popular. read more

I tried SK just yesterday. I love smoothies. We make them at home. SK's smoothies are very good but PRICEY! It turns out these are supposed to replace a meal. It does not. For the price, I'd rather "chew" my food. Again, I liked my smoothie from Smoothie King but I can make them as good or better at home - for less. They need to chop their prices down by at least a buck for each size. read more

I was craving a smoothie yesterday and I have been reluctant to try Smoothie King as this girl loves her some Jamba juice. I had some kind of energy one made with bananas, strawberries, protein and other stuff. It was good, but way too sweet for my liking. The store was clean and the dude behind the counter was nice. I may go back to try some other flavors... but not quite sold on it. I can make a mean smoothie... but sometimes you just have to go out and get one. read more

This location can never get anything right. They make the most inconsistent drinks and they always taste off. I have tried to get a refund for my drink before because they added dairy to my smoothie, which I cannot have. And they never gave me a refund. I tried to exchange a smoothie today that wasn't made well and they would not. What's the point of buying a smoothie if it always taste bad from this location? I'm over it. read more

Ok yes, I do think the creamy Gladiator based smoothie is heavenly, but very overpriced. After a long day of work I went to this establishment (for the second day in a row mind you)... I handed the young girl at the register my phone to attempt to use a $2.00 off coupon from 'Retailmenot', which I also used yesterday without incident. She did not know how to process it so enlisted the help of the manager "Kristie". With a glare Kristie rudely informed me my coupon was "expired." Funny, it didn't have a date on it. When I asked for further explanation she stated "that's our old logo". Hmmm.... okay. I was really tired and wanted my smoothie so I simply confirmed with her that she was the manager & left with the intention to further investigate the situation later. So, later at home with a few clicks I uncovered that the company offers a reward program for smoothies purchased. Including a $2.00 off coupon upon enrollment. That would have been nice to know about Kristie. Attention owner of this Smoothie King,,, lose Kristie!!! She isn't doing your business any favors!! I will think twice before I drop $7+ on a small smoothie there again!. It really is more about the treatment I received, not the money... read more

This location is hit or miss. The employees today were less than energetic to make smoothies and answer any questions. They are also the only store in the area that has decided not to participate in the new online order option on the app. The employees had no idea why or seemed to care. read more

Don't order for delivery through Smoothie King app or online. They will use Door Dash without telling you. Dasher did not deliver all of my order and spilled the smoothies that were delivered. Door Dash cannot help bc the order didn't go through them and Smoothie King has no idea how to handle the refund or adjust the tip. All they offered was to remake the smoothie and me go pick it up. Manager was unaware that Smoothie King was even offering a free delivery promo. read more

The staff was so nice and helpful when my friend and I went in, since their menu is really big we needed some help deciding what we wanted. Since it was Friday, try had a $5 deal for the 32 ounce sized smoothies. 32 ounces is HUGE! It is probably enough for 2 adults, maybe even 3. I ordered some kind of tropical fruit smoothie while my friend ordered a classic banana and berry sort of smoothie. Both were delicious! Would really recommend. read more

Had a great smoothie from Smoothie King today! The staff is very quick and helpful. Apple-Kiwi Kale smoothie was delicious as well.

The smoothie is always good but the customer service was the worst. They don't get order right after I told what I wanted three times and when I told I wanted different smoothie, the cashier boy started giving us attitude. I visited 8/23/2017 around 4:45pm. read more

My sister a while back got a peach smoothie and when she wasn't looking I drank some. I loved it and yesterday for the 5 dollar smoothie i decided to get one. I went in and ordered a peach smoothie but they had 2 different kinds. I didn't know which one my sister got so I ordered the one without yogurt. It was made very fast, and I took a dip out of it before I left just Incase I didn't like it. No need for that. That was the BEST smoothie I ever had. I was soooo happy. I would totally recommend the peach smoothie, the one without yogurt. read more

Normally I never complain about an order being made wrong since I get pretty bad anxiety but today my boss bought my staff smoothies. I had a pretty simple order but it was messed up and I can understand mistakes are mistakes, I ordered a strawberry slim smoothie with plant protein and I'm pretty sure there was like a banana and extra powder in it or something but it tasted awful. I brought it back and explained what was wrong and asked if it could be remade, but the girl I spoke with was pretty defensive and didn't seem to get the point. She said it was made properly but her coworker offered to remake it. I apologized for the inconvenience (idk why I'm the only one apologizing tho lol) and thanked him for making it again for me. It tasted much better so I WAS satisfied but three sips in and I get a strip of plastic found in my drink. Mistakes do happen but that piled on to the first one was very annoying for me and also that's dangerous. Didn't go back again because the girl who was currently working made me feel slightly unwelcome. Some staff are so sweet but some I guess aren't as kind. read more

Ok customer service. I find it really gross no matter what time I have come here to get a smoothie they never wash/rinse the lids. So who knows how long or how much build up from other smoothies are on there. I had asked a previous visit if they would rinse the kids before making my smoothie and they didn't then when I said something I just got a rude response. Thought I would give them a second chance but from now on I am going to the Davis lake location. It's way cleaner and they are much nicer there. read more
