On top of the workers looking like they were in the most miserable mood. They didn't have the menu up for their pumpkin flavor smoothies so it's damn near impossible to order the right one. She told me the names and ingredients like I could recall everything she said. Then I told her I didn't like it she threw it out like she was going to make me a new one and didn't make me another one. Saying there was nothing she could do for me. I don't like to give bad reviews but on more than 2 occasions now and after spending 20 plus dollars each visit I won't be back. It's a hit or miss on the quality of the smoothies. This last time I ordered 2 large and they both were nothing but froth. Not even cold. The person making them needs better training on the recipes. Now that this has happened several times to me and also to my son I won't visit this location again. It is what it is. Over-priced smoothies that are mostly fruit but plenty of the juices come from concentrates. Helpful when hungover. Its a chain, which I normally don't review, but I checked-in and should probably complete this whole transaction. The service was great, as usual, some random high school/ freshmen in college working the place. Have great suggestions, but please keep your "health advice" to yourself till you get a degree in it. When choosing my smoothie I try to go for a little sugar as possible, plenty in the fruit no need to add. I also look for actual fruit instead of from concentrates. Both of those things together are hard to find at this "healthy" smoothie place and for $6-9 a pop I think you could just throw some fresh bananas and berries in blender for me. Just got to teeter and buy frozen blueberries, raspberries, and some ripe bananas. Throw that in the blender with some almond milk and some kind of nut butter. Easy, cheaper, and MUCH better for you. read more

I had a very unpleasant experience today at the smoothie King ...I believe the woman's name was Kristine. She may be the manager. I ordered a smoothie and the cost was going to be almost $10 and I didn't realize it. I changed my mind and said I'd like the cheaper smoothie. She then basically made fun of me and tried to play it out as if she was joking in front of other customers saying that the girl behind the counter had already prepared it and now she has to throw it away. I don't care if she has to throw away a teaspoon of peanut butter, I have the right to change my mind. You guys make a lot of money on your overpriced smoothies! Smoothies with power-shots and wheatgrass to ostrich jerky to give you that extra boost. You might find that you'll need the latter to fill your stomach if you're like me. Their smoothies cost similarly to an entrée at a quick sit-down restaurant. And that's expensive when you consider what you're truly getting in the smoothie. They claim to use real fruit and they really do, but frozen and probably not organic and mass farmed fruits. It's to keep costs low, I get that. We move on to the marketing hyped enhancers such as energizers, protein shakes and diet suppressers. Ok, add $1 for every enhancer you choose. Most of these enhancers are squirts of oils and not truly what you would expect. For example, one of those squirts are "turbinado," which is basically sugar. You'd think that the fruits would have enough sweetness to them, but we are incorrect. That almost adds 75 grams of carbs to your shake that is supposedly supposed to be healthy. I'm not a nutritionist, but that sounds kind of unhealthy. I always ask for no-sugar added and just the basic ingredients which is what makes them Smoothie King. You have the ability to make what you want, if you know what you want. Service here is great and fast even during their peak hours. read more

I tried SK just yesterday. I love smoothies. We make them at home. SK's smoothies are very good but PRICEY! It turns out these are supposed to replace a meal. It does not. I had some kind of energy one made with bananas, strawberries, protein and other stuff. It was good, but way too sweet for my liking. The store was clean and the dude behind the counter was nice. I have tried to get a refund for my drink before because they added dairy to my smoothie, which I cannot have. And they never gave me a refund. Ok yes, I do think the creamy Gladiator based smoothie is heavenly, but very overpriced. After a long day of work I went to this establishment (for the second day in a row mind you)... I handed the young girl at the register my phone to attempt to use a $2.00 off coupon from 'Retailmenot', which I also used yesterday without incident. She did not know how to process it so enlisted the help of the manager "Kristie". With a glare Kristie rudely informed me my coupon was "expired." Funny, it didn't have a date on it. Don't order for delivery through Smoothie King app or online. They will use Door Dash without telling you. Dasher did not deliver all of my order and spilled the smoothies that were delivered. Door Dash cannot help bc the order didn't go through them and Smoothie King has no idea how to handle the refund or adjust the tip. All they offered was to remake the smoothie and me go pick it up. Since it was Friday, try had a $5 deal for the 32 ounce sized smoothies. 32 ounces is HUGE! It is probably enough for 2 adults, maybe even 3. My sister a while back got a peach smoothie and when she wasn't looking I drank some. I loved it and yesterday for the 5 dollar smoothie i decided to get one. I went in and ordered a peach smoothie but they had 2 different kinds. I didn't know which one my sister got so I ordered the one without yogurt. Normally I never complain about an order being made wrong since I get pretty bad anxiety but today my boss bought my staff smoothies. I had a pretty simple order but it was messed up and I can understand mistakes are mistakes, I ordered a strawberry slim smoothie with plant protein and I'm pretty sure there was like a banana and extra powder in it or something but it tasted awful. I brought it back and explained what was wrong and asked if it could be remade, but the girl I spoke with was pretty defensive and didn't seem to get the point. She said it was made properly but her coworker offered to remake it. I apologized for the inconvenience (idk why I'm the only one apologizing tho lol) and thanked him for making it again for me. It tasted much better so I WAS satisfied but three sips in and I get a strip of plastic found in my drink. Ok customer service. I find it really gross no matter what time I have come here to get a smoothie they never wash/rinse the lids. So who knows how long or how much build up from other smoothies are on there. I had asked a previous visit if they would rinse the kids before making my smoothie and they didn't then when I said something I just got a rude response. I came here for a smoothie today after a long day of work. I am looking to gain weight so I ordered the 32 oz Vanilla Hulk smoothie with a probiotic enhancer. It was absolutely delicious and totally hit the spot. The service was excellent and the smoothie came out quickly, worth every penny.
