I have come to this Smoothie King all the time over the past year. The employees, especially Donte and Zareena who help me often (I hope I spelled their names right), are wonderful. I had to take a break due to the pandemic, but I have come back twice to see not a single employee wearing masks. These employees, who risk their lives serving customers for a smoothie, need to be supported by their management. I didn't ask, although I should've, but it seems this is not required by management. This is not only dangerous to customers who frequent the store, but especially dangerous to YOUR employees. These employees are humans, with lives and families. I've gotten to interact with them much over the past year, and I'm frustrated to see how little they are supported. If management/the owner can't pull together a few bucks to help protect their employees, then they have no business managing. Tl;dr: Employees are amazing. Attentive, thoughtful, personal. Management needs to institute a policy for everyone to wear masks, especially to protect their employees. read more

Smoothie King is awesome. When I go I like to act like I'm being healthy and then I get something from the non healthy part of the menu. It's not unhealthy, just not kale avacado with tree branches and all that stuff. I like the banana boat because it tastes good. It's healthier than ice cream. It tastes just as good if not better. So I like smoothie King. The smoothies are really good and it's set up like an ice cream place. The customer service is good too. It's not a restaurant so it's not like there is much interaction though. The store is always clean and never messy. It is quick and there is almost never a line. I really like this place. I am currently trying to bulk up, so I decided to stop by for the first time to check out their protein smoothies. To my delight, they have a huge selection, including many for those drinking for fitness. So I wanted something with high protein content and was recommend the 32oz. Gladiator Smoothie (w/ choice of two fruits). I didn't pay attention to the price, thinking "it's just a smoothie, it can't be that much". It was $8.00 after tax. Some people may think that's about right. Heck, some may think that's a steal. I was thinking that I had better turn into the darn Incredible Hulk after drinking it. I almost may very well have done so due to the rage that ensued. Just kidding, I wasn't mad... just unpleasantly surprised. That's too expensive a smoothie for me when I'd rather pay for real food for the same price. I've had delicious smoothies from other places that was a lot less expensive than that. So, I doubt I'll go there again unless it's against my will. I won't give it just one star though. There are some positives. As mentioned, they have a great selection and variety of smoothies. Also, the smoothie I begrudgingly purchased didn't taste bad at all. It was good. Not $8 good, but good. They have about any type of Smoothie you can dream of, but I tend to stay conservative with my order as the price can jump in a hurry. I normal small smoothie without any "added" supplements will run you just under $5. Also, if you come here a lot, I've found it's smart to just buy yourself a gift card. With a $30 gift card purchase, you receive a free small smoothie on the spot. The $30 card is conveniently divisible by 6 small smoothies, so you'll end up on top of this deal--as well as a provided incentive to come here, instead of the aforementioned greasy pizza alternative...especially if you're trying to lose a few LBs. read more

Being from Louisiana, I'm a huge Smoothie King fan. Lately they've changed all of their recipes and no longer use any real fruit. Their general smoothie recipe is now 90% ice and 10% fruit juice. GIANT waste of money as it probably costs them about 50 cents to make a large. You can do better. read more
