I got lost looking for the restaurant after my phone died but finally found my friend at the top of the steps leading down to Earth. Service is set up like a cafeteria, and for just £7 you can pick 4 items from the line (up to 2 "mains".) I think everything in the line and dessert counter is vegan - I was struggling to find dairy/egg items in the menu. I feel like it's more palatable for them to sell themselves as a vegetarian rather than vegan restaurant. I picked up a hearty bean chili atop quinoa, braised cabbage, and a beautiful mushroom pie, in addition to a lime/lemongrass bottled drink and coffee/walnut cake. Portion sizes were huge and you feel very healthy eating the food - the bean chili could have used more seasoning, but the savory mushroom pie was divine! Creamy, savory, and textural, I was surprised at how well they veganized this classic. The cabbage was like tame sauerkraut, which cut the richness of the pie well. The cake was mildly sweet but had a wonderful bitter aftertaste, the scent of ground coffee lingering in my palate long after I finished the last bite. I had a taste of my friend's raw blueberry cheesecake and we had quite a bit of fun trying to guess what they made it out of. It was alright - I would've wanted to try the raw tiramisu, if they had it.

This place was intimate, romantic, and had great vibes and atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our…read moretime here, and the food was top notch for vegans in the UK!

Fruterio do Brasil, of which I will refer to as FDB throughout my review is only a small brand, despite what their name states, they talk about them being an Italian brand with 2 of their 5 stores being located their in Milan, their other stores are located in UAE (Abu Dhabi and Dubai), and this store in Manchester is actually the only one in the United Kingdom. The overall service in this branch is poor, the staff are often there outside giving away free samples, but they simply lack enthusiasm, it seems they lack training of anything other than to pour samples into little sample cups and hand them out, as they basically avoid any customer conversation or questions, which is a shame. The drinks I've tried, I can't remember the full names, just tasted horrible to say the least to the point I'd even refuse a free sample there now, which people who know me, know is something I never do, people might also say that me refusing a free sample is less likely than Liverpool winning the league (No I wouldn't go that far...) The drinks just taste slightly sickly and watered down, based on what I've tried and they seem quite expensive too, probably slightly more expensive than rivals such as nearby Boost, on the lower floor of the mall, and of course the prices here are so much more expensive compared to picking up a smoothie at a supermarket such as one of the many nearby Tesco stores, which sadly is probably your best bet if you want a decent, cheap smoothie as this place despite being a "specialist in smoothies and juices", just doesn't cut it, mainly down to using poor ingredients and then watering them down to a high degree.

I tasted them in Brazil and this is the first time I have seen them in the UK. I thought it would not be the same as Brazil but I thought I was back in Rio de Janeiro. Will definitely be going back - I would recommend this to everyone go and have taste, the staff are friendly and helpful and will customise to Smoothie to your taste.

I have been wanting to check out Bobo tea for a while and today I did, honestly I want to start by…read morethe name : "I love BoBo tea", I feel this name is quite deluded and arrogant because it is basically saying you love it and if you don't you are stupid. I feel this is more of a slogan than a name of a company as it doesn't give a good vibe. Bobo Tea would be much better with that as a slogan. This is like a popup shop in the Manchester Arndale near Greggs and Subway. They do normal tea, iced tea, bubble tea and you can also put some sort of jelly in them. They is no seating with this being a pop-up sort shop just in the Arndale and not a separate store hence isn't the place to go to relax while shopping, and sit down with a cup of tea. The Iced Teas are made fresh and they normally use fruits like Strawberry, Kiwi and Lemon. My barisa (Can I use that term? They are making drinks?), put in a teabag and then some strawberry syrup and ice. My iced tea was a little watery but the flavour was still quite nice. The straw was a big, fat pink one like what you get with a Mcflurry and I feel it was a little difficult to drink out of it. The staff didn't really sound out, they were relativley busy but they was loads of them to be able to cope with the demand, probably more servers than customers so they could of had a chat with me. This is probably one of the best places to get an iced tea in Manchester but still I feel this place only deserves 3 stars, and that is being generous as the staff don't really stand out, it is a little pricey at £2.50 for a medium tea, they is no where to sit hence this place is one to get a drink to have going round the arndale rather than a place to sit down and relax.
