I have been going there for years and they always remember my previous dog that passed away at the age of 18 and are getting to know my new rescue dog. I have been highly pleased with our experiences when boarding our dog at Bluewater Kennels. They…read morehave individual indoor and outdoor kennels with heat, a good size exercise area, and a separate area for cats and the like, a must in my opinion. They have several options beyond the basic stay, including additional exercise, etc. at roughly $24.00 a night for dogs and $9 for cats it isn't cheap, but it not unreasonable either, and we think they are the best price for quality of service in our area. They'll even do pickup and delivery if that is needed. We have never had any concerns, and have had our dog for extended stays before. She loves it so much, she gets excited when she gets to stay!

I noticed they had some negative reviews on Yelp and that made me nervous but they were quite old and they seemed to have better reviews on Google and Facebook so I went ahead with boarding her there and everything went just fine. The employees all seemed to care a lot about the dogs and knew a lot of breed specific information, and gave her her dietary supplements and played with her. I appreciated the photos they posted to Facebook that showed her having a good time, and that the owner called me and told me how my dog was doing when I asked. The yard is double fenced to make it hard for dogs to jump the fence, and they have a double gate setup for pick up and drop off, and they give you the option of individual or group play sessions. They bathed her and trimmed her nails before I picked her up and she came home smelling good, happy, and healthy. I would definitely board her at Shores again.

They have online booking! Very convenient. Also you choose a groomer. My first time I wasn't really sure who to choose. I didn't really care as long they're a good genuine person that won't hurt my fur baby. I chose the first name. Then you tell them at the appointment what you want done. This place is small but they manage. It is caged but the cages, at least in the front, that "showcase" doesn't seem that bad. I thought my dog would do terrible but he was just patiently waiting there and didn't get riled up even seeing me. Staff is super friendly. I had Erin do my dog's grooming and she was very welcoming and made me comfortable right away. They check for vaccines. Mainly rabies. You fill out a sheet and it asks about health concerns and I mentioned the trachea. She said they won't have him leashed around the neck. Making sure it's a comfortable experience for you and your dog for sure! Also cute how they gave my Lil man a tie. Super cute! They also have a rewards point system. Love how technology savvy they are.

Couldn't imagine much worse customer service than ignoring the customer. I am no longer rewarding this business with my money and, as a result, my dogs will be groomed at another facility. Good customer service goes a long way, but unfortunately this business forgot why they're in business in the first place. I'm sure another groomer will be more appreciative.
