After a few months passed, I decided to give this diner another opportunity. The breakfast and…read moreservice was good and got the spot. On this particular day I ordered Al a carte--2 soft scramble eggs with cheese, hash browns with onions and ham, and one pancake. Listen, I still feel how I felt previously about the okra, so I'll just refrain from ordering that in the future. Otherwise, I'll continue to support this hometown establishment.

We decided to stay and try out other things on their menu. I had the hamburger steak with gravy and onions corn nuggets, green beans and garlic bread. The garlic bread I don't recommend as the garlic was burnt and you know how that can taste. The rest of my food was cooked perfectly and seasoned with what I like to call "seasoned to perfection". My daughter had the shrimp platter with fries which she cleaned her plate. The shrimps were huge compared to fried shrimps around this area, they were also fresh and flavorful. My Husband had the classic cheese burger which was good but he didn't rave about it the way I raved about my food . Thank you to the Manager on duty Jackie she was so kind and helpful to us while our visit here. We will be back for breakfast as a family as I am dying to try their French toast and perhaps other things on their menu.

The inside is very homey, and the atmosphere is very nice. The service is absolutely amazing, and there's faint Korean music playing in the background. On to the important stuff... the food. It. Was. Amazing. Feel slightly bad for saying this, because I like all the other Korean restaurants in this area, but I think this is the best. I got #13, the spicy squid and pork. I normally don't bother to eat the rice, but the sauce was so good, I needed something to soak it up. My partner got #5, the rice cake and dumpling soup. It was also very good, with a nice umami flavor. Also came with clear noodles. Would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and will be coming back soon! Picture of leftovers is just to show how much food I had left even after overeating a bunch!

This is clearly a family owned and operated business and their pride of ownership shines right through. We were met by an extremely polite and pleasant Korean woman that sat as anyplace we chose. She immediately took our drink orders and gave us some tips on the genuine. The building is clean and the atmosphere is very casual. I ordered Raman and my wife ordered mackerel. The food arrived within ten minutes and it was authentic, fresh, hot and extremely good. If I lived in Daleville, I'd be a regular. The bill was 30 dollars for a filling lunch for two. Very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant as the food and service are first rate.

I asked for a Firehouse House combo on wheat. Pause...employee asks "do you want a combo"? Umm,…read more"yes, I do". Employee..."what type of bread"? Again, I reply, "wheat". Same exact conversation on my next order for a Hook & Ladder combo. My order total is $28.10. I pay, and am handed two drinks. I ask for a drink carrier. Get it. I'm handed two bags of chips for my two combos. Wait, then I'm handed one sub in a bag; no conversation; window closes. I wave employee back to my car through the drive through menu. I told him he handed me only one combo. He's stumped; says "huh"...stares at the screen; turns around to ask someone something; walks to another terminal; then he asks for my receipt. I explain again that I was handed only one sub. Employee finally says; "you have another sub coming; it's not ready yet". Seriously? I said, "You didn't say that you were bringing another, you just handed me one, closed the window and walked away". I also asked for a pickle with each side (two total). I received one pickle with one sub. I was very generously given a total of two napkins as well. Never did get my receipt back. $28.10 wasted on overpriced subs. I know it's hard to get good help but is this really the best you can do on staffing?
