From the outside, the restaurant looks run down but I was optimistic because most local food restaurants look like such. The outside was to be expected. We got a regular pork salad and pork nachos to go. This was all okay BBQ. I was a little disappointed because this restaurant was ranked on places to go on Yelp. The salad was store bought shredded iceberg lettuce, over pulled pork, shredded cheddar cheese and canned relish. There was nothing special. The pork was okay and the BBQ sweet sauce was probably the best thing about the meal. My boyfriend got the nachos and was equally disappointed because the nacho chips were those store bought football game nachos and cheese. The nachos came with pork and jalapeños. I had to ask for my receipt, service was slow, restaurant was not clean and I'm glad I got my food to go. Pro: The prices are great!

It's a huge accomplishment for a man so young. He loves bbq and we picked this restaurant from the smell as we drove past it. Boy o boy did it smell good. The building is really and there was plenty of parking. The interior is nice, attractive and well kept. The ordering process was simple and straight forward. The price was extremely reasonable and much cheaper than I'm used to in Denver. The woman taking my order was about twenty and had such a think southern accent I could barely understand her. lol. The food came in within fifteen minutes and was brought directly to our table. The bulk of our meals were fantastic but here are my complaints. 1. The ribs were a bit too salty. 2. The bbq sauce choices were not especially good. 3. Our meal was delivered minus forks and the sour cream and ranch we ordered. By my third trip to the counter to get missing items, I was mildly annoyed. All in all we enjoyed our meal but wished the staff had better attention to detail.

The ridiculously succulent, juicy, and mouth-watering brisket was over-the-top absurdly delicious. Sides sampled were the ethereal smoked baked beans (what magic created that incredible tang finish?), and the incredible garlic mashed potatoes, so tasty--how could mashed potatoes be that good my head is spinning. But wait! The coup de grace is the constellation of amazing sauces, each one better than the next. We tried a bunch including: Sweet Smoke, Bourbon, Tamy Bite, Mango Hab, Kicking Cajun, Carolina. An absolute epicurean delight was dunking meat from one sauce to the next. What an experience! Highly recommended, can't wait to go back for more.
