There humidor is a great size with a display on the wall that allows you to see the humidity and temp inside. They have climate controlled humidor lockers available. Tons of accessories for all of your cigar related needs (lighters, fuel, cutters, humidors, travel cases, etc). The lounge is comfortably lit with large overstuffed leather chairs. The lounge and shop are kept very clean and the staff are very serious about Covid safety. They clean down the seats after every visitor and require masks until younsit down in the lounge just like a restaurant. The Rabbit Air Filters and exhaust system keep the lounge clear of lingering cigar smoke. They also have a well stocked bar carrying all ranges of bourbon, wine, and liquor. If you are a bourbon fan, this is the place for you! They carry a wide selection of domestic, import, and craft beers. For fans of the local favorite Bad Dads Brewery they do carry many of their beers! They also carry White Claw and make a limited selection of mixed drinks. The staff are knowledgeable and extremely friendly. They are welcoming of beginners and experienced cigar smokers. This is not just a "mens only club". On most of my visits I seen plenty of women in the lounge as well. My wife even loves visiting this shop with me. A definite must see location! If you are driving by on I-69 they are about a half mile to mile off the interstate. Our last two visits to this location have resulted in dishonest salesmen screwing with our account…read morefor the purpose of financial gain, through undisclosed and unauthorized changes made to our account that give commissions to the employees. Last fall, an employee upgraded half the phones on our account and changed our billing plan without telling us he did it! We had gone in to only add two lines to our account, and did not want any other changes. This spring, the manager of the store insisted these things do not happen under his new leadership. Yet again, our bill had surprises! One example was that our phone insurance was canceled on the only line that wanted it, and then they added the insurance to our new line. The rate is also $10/month higher, the person who wanted the insurance doesn't have it listed on his line anymore, and a call to the corporate office confirmed that the salesperson received a sales incentive for making the change. Additionally, the manager himself told me we were overpaying on our bill by over $80/month, and that I should let him change the phone plan on all our lines. I smelled a rat and called corporate to ask about our lines. There I learned that his way I could "save money" was to downgrade all the lines, lose our mobile hot spots and reduce the data plans to nearly nothing. Worse, the change would've also reduced my teacher discount from 25% to 15%, diminishing the supposed "savings." Save yourselves time and money- just call the 800# where the staff knows more and will be far more honest.

Usually when I visit Ace Hardware, I have been sent there by my lovely husband who is in desperate need of some widget that I have no idea what it is. There is always someone ready to greet me right at the door at Tipton Ace Hardware to help me find exactly what I need. A very knowledgeable staff. If they don't have something in stock, they will also look to see if they can order it for you. We have purchased grilles, Christmas Trees, Christmas Lights, paint, and more from this store. Kolorful Kiln has varying sizes and price points for ceramic items on either side of the front entrance starting at $10. You pay up front at the desk. They accept cash or card. Cash seems best for a small business if you are able. Pam told us we could sit anywhere we'd like & brought out two ceramic color charts showing what each color looks like with 1, 2, & possibly 3 coats after being fired. You can choose as many colors as you want for your creation. We were each given paper towel to set our items on after she dipped them in water. We also received slips of paper on which to write our names, our item description, and our color choices. She also brought us our glaze colors in little plastic pots with lids and cups of water for our brushes. It's nice you can return for up to three months to keep working on your project if you don't finish in one go. They keep your slip of paper and your receipt with your item. It takes about two weeks for your fired and finished piece to be ready for pickup, and they will call when it's ready. Fun and relaxing for all ages and all skill levels. It's also helpful that they offer a restroom if you need it. A lot of businesses in the area will not allow customers you use their facilities. It was hospitable of Pam to also ask us if we were comfortable with the indoor temperature. She also provided handheld fans to dry out projects in between coats and handling. I can't wait to return to finish my project that is in progress. The owner wasn't there, but we heard great things about her while we chatted with Pam. Finally, an interesting shop in Peru. I've found it difficult to find things to do around here. I'll definitely be going back. I'll also update once I complete and finish my little project. I love art and don't do it nearly enough in adult life. It's fun to be creative and feel like a kid again if only for the time I was within the confines of this cute shop/studio. Also, they appear to be open 10-5 during the week and 10-2 on Saturdays. I believe they are closed on Monday or Tuesday but with the possibility of being open if you make an appointment. I saw conflicting hours online and didn't think to check in person. I'm not sure if they do special events, but it would be a good spot for that. I am also not certain whether the building is wheelchair accessible as I only recall steps. There may be another way to enter that I didn't notice.
