We had a handful of kids with us so we quickly went about selecting our items to paint and getting down to business. I appreciated that they had booster seats available for toddlers to participate - gamechanger! I was surprised that the experience was a little pricier than what I'm used to in Indy - they charge a per head studio fee here in addition to the pottery selections which can quickly add up. We opted for a bowl, easter egg and cupcake to paint. They also had a variety of ornaments, seasonal decor and kid-friendly designs to choose from. The overall paint and pottery section was very well-organized. Better yet, this is all located a block from the canal and a great coffee shop. Recipe for a perfect morning!

I love that you have options when you come here - (1) you can either make something with clay (on a wheel or just at a normal table with a hunk of it to make something with), and then you come back to paint it and they will glaze it to finish it off (2)You can pick one of the ready-to-paint items on the shelves or (3) you can actually make glass plates. Be aware that if you paint anything, you will have to wait for it to be fired and come back within a few weeks to pick it up again. It is a good idea to call ahead if you plan on going in with any more than 1 or 2 people to make sure they have space at their tables, but it's usually not that big of an issue unless you're going around a holiday. If you want to do something with glass or the pottery wheel, you will need to schedule for that. They offer student discounts here for anyone with a student ID and often have seasonal pieces on sale near the end of the season. They also have a little rewards punch card and every $10 you get a hole punched - once the card is full you get 15% off your next visit. If you aren't able to go in during normal hours, they do give people the option to come on Wednesday's between 6-9, which is really nice. Absolutely love this little gem place.

I called back later to cancel my reservation. when the person answered the phone, she immediately stated that she would have her manager call me back because they do not offer refunds. she did not inquire about my name or any information and when I asked, she stated it was on caller ID. that was on 10/31/25. It was not until today (11/4/25) that someone contacted me stating they would not give me a refund. I was also told that they texted me on Friday however I have no message from them. I do understand that they have a "policy" which I would not complain about. however, telling me that you are charging me for memories is absurd. there are several places that offer this for 1/2 the price. I think the situation was handled extremely poor from their perspective. I will not be continuing with the reservation

You'll also see how organized the business is ran, how clean it is inside and how they go out of their way to make the time you're there special. They go over everything you need to know if you're a first timer and if you're a frequent flier they let you go wild with your ideas. The price of the piece you choose includes everything. It wasn't crowded there was couples there and a few single people. I walked in first and I legit waited for five minutes, no greeting, no service. Then the server Matthew came and asked me for my ID. I gave it to him and I let him know my friend was joining me and if he could bring out an extra menu for her. He did so about five minutes later. I mention all this because the service was not good from the start from the waiter Matthew. Once my friend came in, I noticed that the people around us everybody had two glasses and both menus so it appeared that everybody was trying a wine from each menu. Because usually they'll just pour all of the same kind of wine from both menus into one glass. But since seeing everyone around us doing it a different way, I requested we do the same. The waiter Matthew did not say anything about a glass pour limit or how having two glasses works. NOTHING! He didn't mention anything so we tried about four wines. Mind you we are chatting about work in a peaceful manner. We saw a server we were familiar with greeted him, and he poured us some wine. After that Matthew abruptly brought us our checks when we did not ask to receive them and he said we've tried eight wines already. I mentioned the fact that the couples around us have been there since before we got there and we got their last. There were no new groups of people coming in either so I thought that was strange. Matthew wasn't budging. We asked if we could try one more and he let us, but I did not appreciate him trying to cut our wine tasting short. The last time we went we had xavier last year in February and our wine tasting was great. We actually got to learn a lot of new things about the wine. The service from him was really good. He was the reason why me and my friend wanted to go back to the tasting. There was no limit on how many wines we could try. We even purchased wine bottles as a result from that tasting. Apparently the server Matt got mad at Xavier and argued with him in the back about it. But Matt needs to realize he's a rude server and needs to take notes from Xavier. All in all winetasting should be fun. Chill and relaxing, not rude. The ambience that was created wasn't safe and I couldn't enjoy my experience. It was a nice social activity that also allowed moments of quiet to focus on your piece. I find this dynamic kind of nice because I'm not one to talk endlessly even when I'm with my friends. They have tons of pieces to choose from, ranging in price and size, so you can make this activity as much as you want to get out of it. There's no studio fee, so glazes and kiln services are included with your price. They have just about all the colors of glaze, which have a display on the wall by the glaze bottles. The staff are all very friendly, Brooke and Fernando were especially attentive to us throughout the evening. They made sure to help keep our workspace tidy and helped with some glazing and artistic touches. Importantly, we never felt rushed with the process, which helped us feel like we could make something we're proud of. They also have some glass fusing stuff as well, so you can make some kinds of mosaic glass lamp shades (or at least that's what was shown throughout the space). I'm curious how that's priced, because that would be another cool outing! Pottery pieces take about a week to be fired in the kiln, so I don't have my masterpiece back yet. I'm very excited to receive it! They also provide shipping, so if you're a little further away, you can still get your piece. I'm sure I'll be back again before too long!

They have a LARGE variety of different items to paint (as well as different offers as well). The employees were attentive as we painted with filling us in on the process, getting us new brushes, etc. They also offer adult beverages, which is a nice touch for date nights!
