Well, I didn't need another Xikar, just something to get me by... and here sat this little gem on Independence. The first few times I went in for just a lighter (first time for me, second time for my husband), I expected to spend about $25. Nope, these guys had little double flame pocket lighters for $15. Score! The next few times I went in I actually checked out the humidor... I didn't expect them to have too much, despite the size, but they did. Fuente Exquisitos of $2.65 (same as Emerson's), Casa Magna Pekitos, which are crazy rare, not too many people even carry that size ($4), and most phenomenally... dirt cheap ass Padron's! Say what!!! Yes my friend, $10.25 for a Padron '64. I thought it was a damn typo. Now, I don't recall how much they are at Emerson's, but I do know that I pay $11 for the '26 Principe. As for things that help but don't really matter since their cigars & accessories kick ass, lol. The people who work there are cool as hell... they're just chill people. So yeah, if you're a stogie lover, you're probably buying most of your stuff online and at Emerson's, both of which are great places to buy, but I definitely recommend checking out the Smoke Shack because they have great prices too, and you may find a few sticks that they don't have other tobacco spots in the Hampton Roads area.

They have one of the best selection in the Hampton Roads area. You can find your popular named sticks along with boutique brands as well. Not only can you find well sort after Cigars here but you can get them at a great price as well. They come out cheaper than their leading competitor almost every time. Smoke shack also encourages feedback and suggestions on what sticks to bring in. Another reason I like coming here is because of the lounge and the smoking hours that they hold. There are two TVs that have a seating area lined with leather couches and recliners. Along with this relaxed atmosphere the lounge comes with some pretty awesome regulars that enhance the smoking experience. They host cigar events where vendors come with swag and some pretty good deals on boxes and bundles. One of my fondest memories here was when I watched the National Championship game here. It was an awesome time and they stayed open late so we could watch the entire game. No other cigar shop in town was doing that, major points in my book. My only gripe about this location is the lounge is a little small but I think it is designed that way to feel like you're in your buddy's man cave having a stick. Though I come here solely for cigars; you can get cigarettes, vape products, lottery tickets and snacks here too.
