This guy is a joke when it comes to home painting, stay away from him at all costs. I have a 13 minute video to show what a horrible job he does. The guy actually threatened me when I began pointing out the poor job he did in our home and we had to kick him off of our property. We have a brand new home of which the contractor hired him to paint. It actually took him 7 weeks to complete a job that should have been done in 3 at the absolute very most. He is extremely lazy, shows up when he wants to and makes more excuses than anyone I've ever come in contact with. I suggest you keep looking for a reputable painter than wasting your money on this guy. It has been a few weeks since I posted the review above, and this morning I received a text from the owner accusing me of trying to ruin him. I only posted facts and am 100% honest. I had the owners of Smoke Em staining move next door to my family and first of all, they refused to speak to us when we said hello, so I never would've been able to hire them I even though I needed help with some painting. We would've just left them alone with their rudeness, but then one day after continually coming into our yard to get their chickens, completely unprovoked, the owner and his wife started yelling vile profanity at my wife and accused my family of stealing chickens, ALL of the fruit of a tree that never even produced, and eventually voiced idle threats and put up a sign threatening to harm my young children. When we simply asked them why, they cursed and threatened us repeatedly and the next day, we had a tire blow out on our family's van due to a razor blade being inserted into it. We eventually moved to get away from these violent individuals and their constant threats. read more
