I was overwhelmed when I discovered that I needed a smog test to register "Tina," my car, at the DMV. But then, fortune smiled upon me when I found SmoG Ace on Yelp! And guess what? Gordon was there! However his customer service is crap he is very rude and to take it so much further we sent our 16 year old there without parents thinking it was ok NOPE!!! This man took advantage of a kid! Be sure to grab the online coupon, change to desktop mode if it doesn't show up on your phone at first. Cost was $60 after the coupon and including the fees. Great waiting room, and no problem scanning the DMV barcode on my phone, unlike some places in the county who want you to print everything. Owner was ready to get my truck smogged at 8:30am even though I hadn't made an appt (Which I do recommend by the way, easily able to on their website.) Price for smog is pretty much comparable to other local shops. Actions speak louder than words, like when an owner meets you halfway before even coming into the shop to see how he can help. Unlike other shops where they make you feel like an inconvenience. This shop is CLEAN, offers guests coffee and is conveniently located across from Home Depot. I was fresh out of the DMV in need of a fast smog check to finish my out of state registration, and Gordon answered right away when I called and got me in within 10 minutes. He's about a 1 minute drive from the DMV so super convenient location, and was so helpful and friendly. He even helped me get back into the DMV online queue after my 10 minute speedy smog check was done and helped me change my plates. The conversation with the owner was one sided but I at least got to talk a little before I was one upped and spoke over everytime I spoke.
