RNs, LPNs and aides are well trained and very stable ( not much turnover). Very clean facility . Food was incredible considering other facilities and menus were what seniors would desire: baked chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes , soups etc. Tammi, the facility director is excellent. During Mom's final days especially we were so grateful.

As he had dementia, it was harder for him, but the staff made him feel welcome. They are a MEMORY care facility, so they cater to the dementia patient's unique needs. The director, assistant director and everyone helping my dad were just phenomenal! The building is small (I got a tour before corona), so it felt more intimate, like he was with his family. I wish we could have experienced the facility without this mess, but I am thankful they took such good care of him!

My primary reluctantly complied and I was referred to Dr Lavery after seeing Dr Kelly. She sent me to Darla Schwab at Aultman North. After my first visit I was not feeling like things would go well. She did her assessment, did some therapy that really helped, but then said, "do these stretches and exercises and I'll see you in a month". A month!? After a few days my 20 year plus symptoms that three major hospitals had given up on after years of treatment at each started to subside. She is so busy that you will need to wait. and, take what she says seriously because she really does know her field like few others. I've always been happy with Aultman Dover therapy site, but if you have pelvic floor symptoms, male or female, it's worth the wait to finally be able to have something near a normal life. After a year I'm down to only seeing her for flare ups. And, now, since she is a PTD, she offers dry needling to help as well. Amen, a long time prayer has been answered.

If you're looking for a place to spend your senior years, or looking for a place for a loved one to…read morespend theirs, I highly recommend Canton Christian Home. My mother has been living there for almost two years, and I have been continually impressed by how kind, helpful, and supportive the staff has been. There is always someone available to answer questions or provide immediate support to the residents. Everyone - from the administrator's office and nursing staff to maintenance and the IT department - has been kind and supportive, whether my mom is asking for assistance or I'm calling with questions. I have always felt that my questions are taken seriously and that someone is willing to take the time to make sure we have what we need. The care my mother receives has also been very reassuring. The nursing staff has been wonderful, and whenever I have questions about her care, medications, or something the doctor needs to address, I know there is someone I can reach out to. Even when the person I need isn't immediately available, someone has always returned my call - usually within an hour or so. That kind of responsiveness means a great deal when you're caring for a parent from a distance. With so many residents requiring different levels of care and support, I am continually amazed at how smoothly everything seems to flow. There is a sense that the people working there genuinely care about the residents and take pride in what they do. Choosing a senior living community for a parent is a big decision, and it can come with a lot of uncertainty. Knowing that my mother is in a place where she is cared for, supported, and treated with kindness has given our family tremendous peace of mind. I am very grateful to the entire Canton Christian Home team for the care and support they provide to my mother and to our family.
