This company DELO DRAIN & SEPTIC SERVICE came to my house on Tuesday morning on 1/5/21 because my…read moresewer line in the basement backed up and flooded an area there. After 2 hours of work, that we paid $443.70, we were told the problem had been fixed as they cleaned out these sewer lines inside and outside the house. We thanked the young man profusely and paid in full with a check. Well, the problem returned 2 days later, 1/7/21 around 6 PM and the water/waste was worse this time. I called Bob at DELO right away , left a message that the problem returned. Bob called back an hour later and just cursed me out with profanities so intimidating , I had to report him to the East Aurora Police Dept. which I did. The police told me not to stop payment on the check as that would be stealing services, however that I should take him to Small Claims Court in Holland,NY , that I will be doing. I have also contacted the NYS Attorney General Consumer Affairs Dept.and the BBB department regarding this company and their services. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DELO DRAIN & SEPTIC SERVICE because other research has shown me this Bob has intimated other customers back in 2014 as well. Another firm fixed and explained our problem on Friday, 1/8/21 at half the cost !

Service was for my home in Fredonia, NY…read more M and M Chimney Service (Matt) showed up to do the estimate within a day of my call. The initial estimate was clear and concise and surprisingly not as much as I worried it might be. Matt clearly explained the problems with the chimney in terms I could understand and clearly explained how the problem would need to be fixed. Matt and his team were friendly, professional and wonderful to work with. The day of the job, they showed up at the promised time, and got right to it. I hardly even knew they were here while they were working! They were respectful of my property, cleaned up after themselves and did a very professional job. Before they left, Matt let me know if there were any problems or if I had more questions I shouldn't hesitate to call.

As it turned out, the snow was getting in simply because of the accumulation on my roof and wind direction. Matt was honest and informed me that there was nothing really wrong with my chimney and cap. But he didn't stop there, he custom made a stainless steel shield that attached to my cap and blocked the snow from entering the chimney stack. The shield looked like it was part of the original cap and I had no problems for the rest of the winter. M and M Chimney is as honest as they come. All this and very competitive pricing on high quality workmanship. I would highly recommend!
