They replaced all 4 shocks, timing belt, tires, oil change, and brake pads and rotors. Two days later our son followed us with his car for the 2000 mile trip. The 2nd day on the road my son complained of a bad vibration up front. We were in the middle of nowhere. I pushed on the car and noticed it clunked. We nursed the car to a truck stop and the mechanic on duty determined that the brand new strut bolts were NEVER TIGHTENED on top and had started coming loose. This shook the car badly enough he had lost a hub cap. Bolts torqued down...we paid up and went on our way. I drove his car this time ...noticed a VIBRATION from the front. At the next stop we determined our brand new tires were OUT OF ROUND...ALL OF THEM! A call from Oklahoma to Auburn revealed what he had represented as tires from a wreck that were barely used were in fact RECALLED TIRES. The owner told us to return them for a refund...when we hauled them all the way back from Ca.! When I spent 2 hours getting a quote to ship them back rather than haul in our car because they smelled toxic in a heated car, so the owner said throw them away and he'd pay us when we got back. He did refund the tire money, but nothing for the risk of continuing to Ca. from Ok on them and the time lost and aggravation. Skip ahead 3 years...There are no potholes or bumps in roads in Ca...but somehow all the new struts are worn out and caused the expensive replacement tires we bought out there to be ruined from cupping.( caused by lack of down pressure from the strut ). This was brought to his attention by the shop that has just repaired everything....again. My son brought the car in because the front brake on one side was GRINDING. It turns out one side was normal brake wear and the other side was trashed...metal on metal. My son drives 15 minutes to work each day. He does not hot rod and drives very defensively. He is not a car mechanic but knows how to check tire pressure and oil. He was defenseless against the continuing failures that has just cost him $2000.00 in repairs...all which should have lasted a long time out there. Two years ago I bought a used lawn tractor from one of their employees from their front door. The engine ended up having a problem with the carburetor linkage and governor that controls engine speed. I bit the bullet and took it to a lawnmower repair mechanic and after he couldn't figure it out to a john deere dealer ..who said it's a complicated problem and will cost hundreds more to try and fix it. I just threw away $200 trying to get it to run right. Today I found out this Auburn shop also had employed a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER as a mechanic recently. We discovered this on the local sheriff website. This is a side note for everyone. I AM LIVID!!! I can live with the $1100 loss on the mower. 3 years after the car work I doubt there's any recourse for my son....except for us to let you know what happened to my son and the continued problems and expense he's endured as a result of trusting these people. DON'T BRING YOUR CAR HERE AND DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE. You'll likely be sorry.

They cited that their shop has been sued multiple times in the past Which makes me wonder what they have done to be sued so many times that they had to create a policy. The gentleman behind the desk and one of the mechanics suggested that I lie in the future about having done any work on my car so they are actually promoting lying and dishonest acts Which further makes me worry about and wonder about their integrity and adds Creedence to the fact that they have been sued multiple times. I would highly recommend trying somewhere else and not doing any business with this place. My father and brother were mechanics and I grew up around a garage and it is worrisome and unethical to turn down work out of fear of being sued again. There are plenty of other garages in the area. My experience with Crash Champions Bainbridge was about as bad as it gets. It's a long story, but…read moreworth the read. This was an older car, 2014, but very well cared for and we had just put several thousand dollars into it to get a few more years out of it. - Accident in January, took the car there as it was Progressive's preferred body shop - Received repair estimate and pleased to learn it would not be totaled, which is often the case with older cars. Was told repairs would take a month or more due to parts issues but had no problem with this. - After about two months, a new estimate for twice the initial estimate is delivered and Progressive lists the car as totaled. - I work on my own cars and have restored many classics over the past 40 years, so I decide to have another look to help decide if I want to buy it back as salvage and repair. - Car is outside with the front end dismantled including weather stripping on the door. Keep in mind that I drove this in after the accident. I ask if they still have the parts and am told yes. - I decide to buy the car back and repair myself. - On requesting the car back, I'm told parts are missing (some expensive parts that I would have used as core exchanges and some just plain stupid, like they removed trim and badging on undamaged parts of the car. - Crash Champions then tells me I owe them roughly $1,000 for parts they ordered and couldn't return since they destroyed the boxes. - I finally was able to get Progressive to intervene (no easy task) and the car is returned sans the front end on a flat bed. - In conclusion, I repaired the car myself with mostly new and a few used parts for about 20% of the Crash Champions estimate. In Ohio, the insurance company declares a car totaled. So, make your decision about where to take your care very, very carefully. In my case, I foolishly went where Progressive suggested. Like many, perhaps most body shops, Crash Champions set out to heavily milk the insurance company for everything they could, example, a chip on my door handle paint, about the size of a grain of rice was why they dismantled my door, inside and out, for repainting. The chip was there since I bought the car 8 years ago. The fact that they even tried to get $1 out of me is nuts. Do they do this to others? Hopefully they fight back as I did. Lastly, if the numbers seem off on your estimate, spend the extra cash to have it towed somewhere else for an estimate. Avoid places like Crash Champions - I feel like a Jeep dealer would have clocked in Lower than the numbers they came in with and it would have saved me the hassle of the salvage to rebuilt title process and the higher insurance rates that go with a rebuilt title. Post note: I later learned that although in Progressive's case, they know they are being overcharged, they accept it in return for free storage of cars at Crash Champions. Probably why they are their preferred vendor in the first place.

After minor body repairs @ crash thru insurance, I get my car back with chips in the new rear bumper, crumpled up zones that should have been repaired and missing clips leaving my rear diffuser to be hanging off. My diffuser was physically hanging off of the car, when I got home to inspect the work they had done. There is a difference between mistakes and not taking pride in your work / clear oversights. Took car to different auto shop to fix their work + alignment since trust had been lost.

Had to take it back a third time. Time became more and more short and I lost more and more respect for his shop. I do not recommend this place, and I will be taking another vehicle here. Save your money and go to a current up-to-date mechanic or automotive shop.
