The guests were in awe of the setup as well as the spread. We kept it simple with a sandwich-based entree and included a vegetable tray and a fruit tray. The sandwiches were perfect and the fruit and vegetable dishes tasted so fresh that guests asked if we got it from a local farm. Just a great presentation. There was a disco ball hanging from the ceiling, feather boas, dog toys, craft supplies and an amalgam of products that were thrown together without rhyme or reason. There were dollar store type items, but I didn't actually find anything for a dollar. Most items were $2.00 and way up. There was nothing that struck me as a really great deal. In a store like this, I would expect a good deal. Product was packed into every conceivable spot and extended up to the ceiling in many instances, making many things inaccessible. If you want to pay regular price, you can always shop at a regular department store. I'm visiting Dad and he took me here. He said I could find anything I was looking for here. He may be right. I found the envelopes I wanted. The store is still overwhelming though. They need a much bigger space. Staff was friendly enough, even if one struggled with the tax math a little. They only brought 2 pans of pulled pork, 1 pan of chicken, 1 pan of green beans, 1 pan of baked beans, 1 pan of potato's and 1 pan of salad. Nothing was ever refilled. The bride and groom started finding out yesterday and today about how many people didn't get to eat so they tried reaching out all day with no response. It took a bunch of us writing reviews for the groom to get the above Facebook message. The owner claims he told them they needed the food to be served but the girl they had as the wedding planner told the catering company she wanted to serve the food and they told her there was no need, there was plenty of food. He's also blocking everyone who puts a negative review on fb. This is not the way to conduct business.
