I was purchasing a butcher block that my wife wanted to use as a folding table in our Laundry Room…read more I was under the impression that Home Depot (HD) would make the cuts for me as I do not possess the proper saw to cut such thick, solid wood. After all, HD's customer service told me by phone earlier that day that they would help me make the cuts. Once I got there I was told by someone in the HD Lumber Dept that they couldn't do it. Long story, short, Bronson overhead my conversation. He was doing a job a few minutes away from the HD and he volunteered to make the cuts for me at no-cost. He even helped haul the heavy butcher block in truck for me to the job site. The world needs more kind gestures like the one done for me earlier this month by Bronson. The pay-it-forward action on his part speaks to his character. I've given his business cards to my wife, who is a Realtor here in the Valley, and we will use his company the next time we need a skilled and reliable carpenter.

I have a 2 bdrm apartment and have hired movers 4 times since living here. Each time they are able to load in one hour and unload in one hour. This man and one helper arrived at 9am with a single small dolly. By 10:30 they were advising me they needed to take a lunch break at 11. I informed them that my UHaul had to be returned by 1pm so I'm sure they're would be finished by then and could go for the day! At noon (3 hours later) they had only moved 2/3 of my belongings and left me to do the rest on my own. As the pictures show, they chose to drag my mattress and box spring along the ground leaving holes and black stains. My bed is literally 2 pieces that fit together using no tools. But they stacked all of the bedroom items up against the wall, leaving me to take everything out just to put the bed together. 3 of my kitchen/decor boxes were marked fragile and contents were bubble wrapped. When I went to unpack them, 2 were upside down and all 3 boxes contents were completely destroyed. One of my dresser drawers was dropped and broken, my dining table has scratches down to the metal. When I sent him pictures of all the destruction he left behind he gave me an "I'm truly sorry" response and said he was trying to get in contact with his helper to find out what happened. (?!??!!) I have spoken to 2 neighbors that also hired him and they said they had to stay on top of them the entire time to keep them moving and were also very dissatisfied. Beware!
