We were having a standard bathtub removed and wanted a tiled shower in its place. We also wanted a kitchen backsplash installed. In the store we were told a price for the shower wall tiles. On the quote, it was jacked up about 20 cents per tile. Not really a deal breaker if you could go ahead and schedule us and order tile! We emailed at least twice, asked in person and over the phone when we could get on this list because we were ready to do this. All but begged (maybe we did beg a little) to please get us on the list and give install date, and we were completely blown off. She'd never give us one, always blaming a guy in the back for never being available to give her a date. I'm sorry, if I have to beg more than a week and still not get an install date, after initially being told there was a two week wait and then a three week wait, you don't deserve my business. Obviously someone's getting scheduled, just not us. I don't understand what we did because all of our interactions were positive and we only pushed about a date.Things happen for a reason and this led us to find a much more expensive tile that we both loved. Missy, money was never an object for us. You cost your store a loss and future business for three of our new construction homes on the beach.

Does a waitress ignore everyone at the table except for the one person paying? Does a claims adjuster ignore the passengers involved in an auto collision because they do not own the vehicle? No. It is a matter of customer service, and ignoring everyone outside of the party paying is clearly poor customer service. 2. Update* for this portion - the installer came back and resolved the issues. 3. Constantly asking my mother to have my review taken down not only does not make sense (ma'am, I am a 28 year old adult. I do not answer to my mother.) but it is extremely belittling and condescending. If you would like the honest reviews taken down, I suggest correcting the situation and then asking nicely. 4. I have requested the contact information for your corporate office and have once again been fully ignored. 5. The issue was not the shipping - it was the expectations you have set - you stated via text message it would take 2 days for shipping. When the carpet did not arrive in 2 days, you blamed it on the carpet being placed on a 'slow truck'. Then via phone stated you told us 3-5 days for shipping - which you did not. Additionally, the installer was not ill - he was overworked. You had him plan to complete a job on Thursday, which was already a job that should take 2 days but you told us would be done in 1 so you pushed him to complete it in 1 (which is why he had to work late to complete it in one - yet another unreasonable expectation you set). Upon the carpet's arrival you decided to try to play the hero and push the installer to do the job a day early on Wednesday even though he had a job late in the evening the day prior that ran into early Wednesday morning. Even after the installer stated very clearly in an email which you forwarded to us that he could not complete the job on Wednesday, you continued to say you would try to get him out on Wednesday. Let the man rest and do the job on Thursday as originally planned. The inconsistency between the expectations you set and the actual result is the issue, particularly because you were fully aware the expectations you were setting were entirely unlikely if not outright impossible. 6. Coming into a customer's home and verbally attacking them unprovoked (twice) is obviously bad business. This requires no further explanation. Also, note the slew of sudden 5 star reviews from obviously fake accounts - did you take the time to do this yourself or did you pay someone else to? The ONE thing I can say about this company that has went well - I appreciate Niki not showing up at my home again as she made me feel extremely unsafe and concerned for me, my family, and our property's wellbeing.

Habitat Flooring did an amazing job for us, transforming our home from a dull vinyl flooring to a…read morevibrant real hickory floor. They are the contractor I wish we could get for every project. They provided a schedule and performed everything as promised. This company provided us a timely, quality project for the less money as other local companies here in Panama City. I highly recommend using them. We started shopping for a company to replace the flooring for our house in March. We searched around and started with two flooring companies. These companies we started with were very kind and would tell us they would come to the house the same day as our call. However, both companies took a few days to get to the house. After which we did not hear from them. We had to call and ask when we would get our quote. The one company took 3 weeks to write the initial quote. But at least it was detailed. It contained a breakdown of the work per room, itemized with material & labor. After this initial estimate, we asked to change some rooms from carpet to wood. But we never get the second estimate. So we decided to try the other company. We were finally ready to sign a contract, partly based on the other company being part of a larger national chain. Keep in mind, this took two months working with both companies to get to this point. It's now May. But when they sent us the contract, it only specified a unit material price for carpet. There was no detail of the rooms in our house, no labor, no information about hardwood flooring that was half of the area of the house. They added over a page of clauses to the contract. The contract clauses spelled out all of the things the company was not responsible for. Specifically, their clauses meant that for any reason the flooring did not turn out the way we liked, it would be due to the conditions of our house and not their responsibility to address. We called and talked to them, asked them to provide more specifics about the work to be performed, and asked what we could do to minimize any problems from our house. They never sent any more information or contract containing any more details. It was at this point we decided to look again for flooring and glad we did. We found Habitat Flooring. They answered us back promptly. This was the first company not to say they would see our house the day we contacted them. Instead, we were given a date that someone would be in the area. At the time, their work was more than two hours from our house. Within a couple of days, they came to the house. Then we were given a date to expect the completed estimate. That too was sent within a couple of days. The entire project, we would get a date and the work would be done. They usually would finish a day or two earlier than anticipated. Everything was completed as scheduled. Habitat is flexible about requesting changes during the project. For example, I decided to do some of the work myself. They allowed me to do this and took it out of the final bill. They were clean, prompt, and did a beautiful job transforming our house. We are pleased with the final result of flooring.

Derek responded quickly and was over to our house to take a look at our floors. We got on his schedule, and he was even able to start our job a week early. He has kept us in the loop during the entire process, and has explained thoroughly and answered all questions. We have been so pleased with his work, and he has made my floors look even better than before. We have hardwood floors from the 1940's and they are why we bought our home, so we were very nervous deciding on someone, but will now not let anyone else work on our floors as long as Derek is around. You won't regret reaching out and having Derek look at your floors!
