I had to write another review for Dr. Fab because she truly is an extraordinary veterinarian…read more When I had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to my beloved Marley, there was no other doctor I would have trusted more to help us through that moment. Dr. Fab is one of the most compassionate and caring veterinarians I have ever met. It is obvious that she genuinely loves every animal she treats, and that love shines through in everything she does. She treated both Marley and me with incredible kindness, patience, and empathy during one of the hardest days of my life. She made an unimaginably painful experience as peaceful and comforting as it could possibly be, and for that I will be forever grateful. If you are looking for a veterinarian who is not only exceptionally skilled but also deeply compassionate, I cannot recommend Dr. Fab highly enough. Thank you, Dr. Fab, for loving my sweet Marley and for helping her cross the rainbow bridge with such dignity, gentleness, and grace. I will never forget your kindness.

Here is my incredibly honest review: Dr. Lopez, Dr. Rosso, and Dr. Fab are all AMAZING. Each of them has made us feel genuinely seen, whether we're in for a routine check-up or something worrying. They take real time during visits to make sure we're heard, and they work to get to the root of an issue without jumping to worst-case scenarios. I'll have a really hard time if we ever have to move and leave this practice. A special thank you to Dr. Rosso, who recently got to the bottom of an issue with one of our cats and had her feeling better right away -- we're so grateful.

Note: This review is for DENTAL services only…read more My vet doesn't perform dental services, so we brought our kitty in to Healing Touch for a teeth cleaning. We chose them due to proximity, reviews, and the no anesthesia approach. We were happy with the service, and will definitely use them again in the future. The only reason one star was docked off the review is the lack of evening or weekend availability for dental service. (My husband had to work around his work schedule to take our kitty in.)

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at your clinic…read more Prior to my appointment, I sent multiple emails containing extensive medical records, specialist reports, and a detailed summary of my dog's condition. I spent considerable time gathering and organizing this information so that the veterinary team would have a clear understanding of the case before the visit. On the day of the appointment, I took time off work and drove approximately one hour to your clinic. Upon entering the examination room, the technician asked what was wrong with my dog. Given the volume of records and summaries that had been submitted in advance, I asked whether those materials had been reviewed. The technician informed me that they had not. I then requested that the records be reviewed before proceeding, as they contained extensive information from specialists and would provide important context for the appointment. A few minutes later, another staff member entered the room and informed me that I had been rude to the assistant and that the clinic would not be seeing my dog. I was shocked by this decision. At no point did I raise my voice, use inappropriate language, or behave in a disrespectful manner. I simply asked whether the records I had submitted had been reviewed and requested that they be considered before the appointment continued. As a result of this decision, I lost a day of work, spent significant time traveling to your clinic, and was denied care after making every effort to provide your staff with the information necessary to prepare for the appointment. This incident was particularly disappointing because it follows a previous experience at your clinic that left me concerned about communication, attention to detail, and the overall quality of the client experience. Unfortunately, this latest interaction has completely eliminated my confidence in your practice I believe clients should be able to respectfully ask whether medical records have been reviewed without fear of having their appointment terminated.

I would not recommend this place!…read more Before driving over, I called and specifically asked what the exam fee would be. I told them I was only about 15 minutes away and was coming straight in. I arrived exactly when I said I would, and the price had suddenly changed. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch. If your pricing changes at a certain time, tell the customer when they're on the phone and saying they are on the way, not after they've already arrived. When I questioned it, the manager was unprofessional and unwilling to honor the price their own staff had quoted me just minutes earlier over the phone. There was no accountability and no attempt to make the situation right. I can easily afford the difference, but that's not the point. I don't appreciate being misled. I told them I was deeply disappointed with how they handled the situation and that I would be leaving an honest review. They didn't seem to care at all. I genuinely feel bad for the owner if this is the level of customer service being provided. The worst part was that my dog was sitting there in pain while we argued over something that should have been simple.I left and went to another veterinary clinic down the street, where my dog was seen within minutes and received excellent care. If a business won't stand behind the price they quote over the phone, it's hard to trust them with anything more important. I imagine their final bill would have been ridiculous. Thankfully, I didn't stay long enough to find out. I won't be returning, and I hope this review saves someone else from wasting their time.

The last thing you want when your fur baby is suffering is to reach voicemail after voicemail. Hearing a compassionate human voice on the other end of the phone brought me so much comfort. She came to my home first thing the next morning. I was worried about my younger Golden Retriever jumping on her or interfering with her care, but she was absolutely wonderful with both of my dogs. She encouraged him to stay in the room with us once he was comfortable with her, and I truly believe that helped him understand what was happening. She was incredibly professional, but I'll never forget one small moment. Out of the corner of my eye, while I was saying my final words and paying my last tributes to my girl, I saw her quietly wiping tears from her eyes. As a healthcare provider myself, I know how often we're expected to wear a mask and stay composed. Seeing that genuine emotion didn't make her seem less professional, it reassured me that she truly cared. In those final moments, your mind races. You question whether you're making the right decision. Seeing her emotion gave me peace because I knew she wasn't simply going through the motions. I knew that if she believed my girl wasn't ready, she would have told me. Most of us are fortunate enough to experience this kind of heartbreak only a few times in our lives. She carries families through it over and over again. That takes an incredible amount of compassion. Thank you for your kindness, your empathy, and for helping my sweet Lilo leave this world peacefully and with dignity. Please take care of yourself, too. The first photo is the day Oliver met Lilo as a puppy, their first photo together. The second was taken just before the veterinarian arrived to help Lilo pass. I didn't realize until later that I had unknowingly captured both the beginning and the end of their story together I will miss my Lilo for eternity.

This is not my first review of our beloved Dr G, and I just recommended her to 6 more people again just these past 2 weeks. I always say to people I give her card to: "you will discover she is an Earth Angel - if she moved to a different town, I'd take my pup there... When you find a great vet, they are Gold! She's not only compassionate, present and knowledgeable, but also she does not oversell." Besides all the regular check ups, Dr G. has performed 2 substantial surgeries on my pup in the last 8 years, and has been extremely kind, providing valuable reassuring step-by-step updates throughout, especially aware that I had lost my beloved first dog, (with a different vet), when he did not make it through the anesthesia... In the 8 years Dr G. has been our one and only vet; everyone I have sent to Dr G. has fallen in love with her, and has thanked me for the referral. I trusted Dr G and her small compassionate team with the euthanasia of my precious second dog, Handsome. She is truly an Angel on Earth. At her Chatsworth location, I love that she's created a lovingly cozy "home environment" for the euthanasia experience. That it so needed during that deeply emotional time, and more veterinary offices ought to follow her example. I found her many years ago when I was dissatisfied with a busy veterinary front desk in Sherman Oaks, after they had made errors in my first dog's chart. Unfortunately he passed, and I learned that finding the RIGHT professional truly makes ALL the difference. So yes, I drive from Sherman Oaks. Gratefully so :) I am thankful that my cherished pups are her patients. Her ethics, her care, her kindness, her knowledge, her integrity - she's our number 1!!!

She is so sweet and was on top of getting us updates. Her client care is on point. I am thankful for someone like that during a time of grieving. I'm only knocking off a couple stars because there was a pair of other employees at the front desk, one had a badge and was in business casual so I'm guessing she was a supervisor of some sort. I should have gotten their names but one was African American and the other Hispanic with pink hair. They were basically cackling and gossiping while we were getting checked in. It felt very unprofessional, like they were having a grand old time at a dive bar. The wait was long and there were people waiting for their injured babies for hours and stressed about the situation. I talked to a couple of them while I waited for my friend to arrive with her baby. I could hardly hear what they were saying over the conversation those two were having, which had nothing to do with anything. It was so inconsiderate, and to think this might be a person in charge of a team is terrible. They were so comfortable acting that way in front of a lobby full of concerned pet parents! Do better access!! Once my friend arrived and we spoke with Hannah we felt more comfortable, and she made the check in and check out process quite smooth.
