These guys do BEAUTIFUL work! On the way to an unofficial Yelp event a few months back, I was running late and in my effort to quickly find a parking slot in the EV, I sloppily tried to back into one and had an "encounter" with some kind of stupid planter or something of some sort that was constructed WAY too close to the curb! You can witness the result in my above pic. I decided to have the body work done when I went to visit my mom in FL because such stuff is way cheaper down there than it is in NYC. When I went to the dealer's body shop in Jax, I almost had a heart attack when the price was quoted to me! I didn't even want insurance to take care of this! Plus, they said it would take over three weeks to fix! Fugget that! So, on the advice of my mom's great neighbors, I took it to Smiths', just a few miles away in Starke. They didn't so much as flinch at the damage and quoted me a price about 1/4th of what the dealership had and had it finished in just three days! Tom was very nice and down to Earth and they even touched up an extra scratch on the car for free. They even gave it a much needed wash when they had finished with it, to boot. Just look at the pic I posted above to see the terrific job they did! They matched the difficult to emulate paint hue just perfectly and you would never have known there had ever been any rusty body damage there before. Hope I don't have any more crunches in the future but if I do, Smith Brothers will certainly be the guys I'll be taking my car to!
