Office workers refuse to leave office to do anything. They hardly ever communicate with residents…read morein regards to upcoming issues or inspections. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the maintenance workers are awesome and fix the issues when they come up. I also believe I was being ripped off with energy costs. I now live in a 3 bedroom house in the same town and pay a fraction I paid while living at Campus Manor in a 2 bedroom apartment. I even had a $50 credit each month from campus manor for electric and gas. The pool is the defacto community pool since they never check for passes. So pretty much you are sharing the pool with all those who live around you. The apartments are party central with loud parties every weekend and they rarely enforce parking after office hours which means parking is a hassle. Further proof of the communication issues is I moved out 2 months ago and I have received 3 emails to my WIU student email to sign up as a new resident. Apparently they refuse to do research and simply send spam emails to anyone. I have asked them not to send me anymore emails but I have been ignored each time. I do not recommend to those who value privacy and a quiet relaxed place to live. They are also the same at Campus Pointe since its the same company.

We stumbled across Edison and Pullman Apartments and found just what we were looking for. We are excited to claim this place as our home in 2017-18. We loved that there were different floor plans to select from. We also took advantage of a promotional offer upon signing which was a huge plus. Highly recommend this establishment to any students looking for affordable housing around WIU.

I just received my deposit back and it was only 1/3 of the deposit amount as they claimed everything in the apartment was dirty. I couldn't even argue with them because my son went through the walk through and signed off on whatever paper work they put in front of him. They took advantage of a naive college kid. My advice is don't lease here first, but if you feel that this is the best option for you make sure you go with your student or child and read the walk through paperwork thoroughly. Also, take pictures of anything you clean and/or fix. I should have listened to the reviews I read prior to letting my son live here. Also, I would bet the good reviews are the people that haven't moved out yet.

The layout: the layout is pretty nice and the apartments overall are in great condition. The bedrooms aren't that uneven aside from one being slightly bigger and then the washer and dryer in the bathroom of the smaller one. The fact that all the rooms have their own bathroom is great though. Amenities: You pay for everything really. Parking: you pay for. Workout facilities, deposit needed for a key. The staff is great about being on top of things when something breaks or you need help with something though. The pool is nice. The balconies are a joke though, you'll fit a grill and a chair and that's it. I liked that the Internet was supplied which saves you a ton of money but it was pretty bad. Depending on the time you use it, it was almost impossible to get things done sometimes.
