I'm your average everyday idiot, and if they could explain the process in terms I can understand, then most other people should have no problem. Christina Tillenger handled my child custody case and let me tell you, she is smart and loves a good fight. She never showed weakness or fear, on the contrary, she was ready to argue and fight for my daughter and me. As a father in Texas, battling for custody of a child whose mother had technically done nothing wrong, I didn't really feel our chances were great. Christina and her team had me put those feelings of uncertainty aside and got busy building a strategy. After a long hard fight, we won and my daughter has been living (rather happily, I should mention) with me. To be clear, the road to a custody battle is long, hard on the family, and costly. But, nothing cheap is good and nothing good is cheap. The Enos law firm was worth the money and they worked with me on payments. My family was worth the money and time. If you want to hire some of the best in the business who will be honest and work hard for your cause, the Enos firm should be high on your list of prospective attorneys.

They were in no hurry to settle the case early. Some employees are honest and ethical, and some incredibly dishonest and unethical. The main attorney is critical, cursed at me, and told me "you are not likable". The main attorney has a pattern of suing his clients for overbilled fees. The main attorney made claims my case was costly and complex because he had to communicate with my forensic accountant often. He did not. I had a contract with my forensic accountant, communicated myself with her, and asked her not to call their law office. The forensic accountant only creates a report and submits it; no need for expensive calls.

It gets even worse when you have a pending lawsuit, it's like you're waiting for the axe to fall. Before I filed for bankruptcy I always felt like I was always short on money, there just never seemed to be enough or I was always struggling even when I was working full-time. I felt like I was always on a budget. While some of my debts were my fault, it came to the point where I was just making payments on interest and not the debt itself. It came to a point where I just couldn't make payments on some of my debts and they just piled on top of each other. I started feeling helpless and I just had to push some of it to the back of my mind or it would have driven me crazy. It all came to a head when I got a court summons from a collection agency for the amount of $2,000. I can't even begin to imagine the dread and apprehension that one experiences when you get one of those summonses. I always thought that only happened in movies or TV shows. Panic set in. My coworker had always been suggesting filing for BK, but I always felt like it was cheating or failing. But when push comes to shove, I felt that I had to take care of myself. Greg helped me take care of this. I got a few suggestions, but some were just way too far for me. I found Greg on Yelp after looking at a few others, his ratings were consistent and this impressed me. I set up an appointment, it was easy. He will walk you through everything with clear directions and updates and he will answer any questions you might have promptly. The process itself is long, I filed in October and cleared February, but the hardest in all of that is just taking the first step and reaching out for assistance. Greg helped me with everything, and even just the fact that someone can tell you "everything will be OK" will take a huge load of stress off your back. Even just after the first session and I found out that I actually qualified for BK, after I left his office, I felt 1,000 lbs lighter. If you're struggling with your bills and legitimately can't catch up with the payments, don't be afraid to reach out and ask for help. If you have any questions for me, feel free to private message me. Don't let that pretty face fool you, give Greg a call and see if he can assist.

They had drinks & snacks in a basket in the front with a CashApp link, it looked tacky & cheap. Those were my first impressions of the office. My experience with the front staff was good, they were nice. The lawyer seemed nice & my husband wanted to give her a retainer immediately but I said we should discuss it. Glad I did because almost everything the lawyer said was a lie, said we couldn't just reapply for the I-485 that we originally got a denial for that we HAD to respond to the denial letters listed reasoning. After further investigation, that was a lie. You can respond to the denial via I-290B form to file an appeal, a motion to reconsider or motion to reopen. Which is currently $675 & she wanted to charge us $5000 for. BUT you can also just refile an I-485 without "responding" with the I-290B like she said. She said that the joint sponsors income was tied up with the other 2 people they had signed for visas, after further investigation, that was a lie. The I-864 affidavit of support form clearly asks about other sponsored immigrants who are now lawful residents, the visa holders are not residents (tourism visa), but she would have known that if she would have asked more questions rather than jumping straight for retainer money. Then she said she couldn't take our case aka our retainer money any later than that week because that wouldn't give her enough time to work on the case & would put us responding past the 30 days. We had over 25 days left to take action on the case, mind you i had personally done all the immigration paperwork up until then & clearly messed up the I-864 originally, but I went through the I-864 & I-290B & all supporting documents with a fine tooth comb in a week and half. She just wanted the $5000 that day, it had nothing to do with timeframes. People already struggle to trust attorneys, & when they demand money now and lie to try to get it just confirms people's suspicions.
