Food was F'nasty- took an hr to bring to table. Hamburger was old tasting- no seasoning, French fries not cooked, burned but not cooked (how do you do that?), famous navajo bread was beans & hamburger 2 sauces, no flavor. Bread to tough to cut. Took a couple of bits and left w an upside down smile.

I have been hearing about Smiling Faces for years, all good things. I took the family out tonight and had a great meal. I highly recommend the stuffed sopapilla and bacon cheese burger! Portion sizes are great, everyone had some to bring home. Two appetizers, four drinks, four entrees for $104.00

    Nice atmosphere, and very clean

Man! This place is GOOoOoOD!! Authentic, huge portions, and delicious Despite being short staffed due to a sick call, the staff worked very hard. One amazing cook whooped out quality food in a timely manner. We didn't get to meet Santana, but that guy deserves a raise. If you want kind and personalized service (thank you Aubrey!!), you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend

Chile had a nice bite to it, salsa wasn't very spicy though. Good amount of food for the price. Friendly service

We have been backpacking for the last 3 days and we're craving some enchiladas. The service was outstanding and it was so nice to sit on the patio. Love that you get enchiladas with a choice of sopapilla or a tortilla. We got one of each. It did not disappoint!

    Breakfast Burrito with chile verde.

We stumbled on this place and boy are we glad we did. I had the Breakfast enchilada plate with both red and green salsas; the red was good, but the green was spectacular. My partner had the breakfast burrito, which was huge and full of bacon (her meat choice). The service was friendly and attentive, the environment pleasant with locals enjoying Chef Santana's deliciousness. Thank you for a memorable breakfast!

Cute, clean place with really good food. Just stop by and try it, you'll be glad you did. Great green chile enchiladas, the tamale was melt in your mouth delicious as was the giant sopapilla. The service was good and our waitress was super friendly. We definitely had smiling faces when we left.

    Best yummylicious Sopapillas!

Food wasn't that great, I waited 30 mins for my food and the staff were okay. I wouldn't recommend it.

Great Mexican food! The largest sopapillas on the planet, I'm not kidding, and nice and light.

Since you're using Yelp, you'll be the youngest guests besides the children that are there with their grandparents. It's like you stepped into the 1960's, but they haven't done a deep clean since then. The fried chicken tasted like my childhood. The mash potatoes were thick and seasoned. The so-called "chicken fried steak" should be named something else.

It was an average Saturday night and we were on our way home, so we stopped. There were two waitstaff for the entire diner side. (The main dining room was being used by a party). So, in total, there were about 15 tables for 2 waitstaff. I should have known something was off at the beginning, when our waitress started off by telling us how she hadn't been able to eat herself, while taking our order. The whole time she complained about how she was slammed. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with a salad, veg, mashed potatoes and gravy. His came out sans salad and completely cold. I ordered a grilled cheese with chips. I think that sandwich saw the flattop for a max of 10 seconds. The cheese hadn't melted and was still cold from the walkin. AND ALL OF THIS TOOK 35 minutes for our meal to arrive from order to delivery. And, as a bonus, the light was out in the ladies room and I almost knocked myself out, going into the stall. (The light, I learned later was outside the ladies restroom). It was absolutely miserable and we will be eating elsewhere when we go to Vegas.
