They have ITY, spandex, rayon, Lycra, ponte, Liverpool-esque, super techno, lace, linen, wool blends and so much more. I'm a discount fabric shopper so my favorites were the large $2 section and the remnant bin next to the cutting table. The customer service was great. They also have a small parking lot so you don't have to worry about parking on the street.

As soon as I walked in, the only store employee who was working at the time named JANE did not greet me at all. She showed poor customer service and was not able to help me with what I needed. When I walked over to where she was standing she failed to greet me again as a customer, and never said anything such as "How May I help you?" Once I finally got Jane's attention she just stared at me...so I proceeded to let her know the reason why I'm visiting the store was to find a beige colored piece of fabric to patch up a mark I had on my coat. The first thing Jane told me was "we don't have that type of material." She didn't bother to look at my garment or offer to assist me in finding something similar. She then proceeded to tell me "you can look around yourself." I almost walked out of the store due to her lack of customer service. I was honestly disgusted by her attitude and how rude she was. Jane, I hope you learn how to have basic customer service skills one day because your service was awful towards me.

I paid him the full amount and trusted Edwin that the 2nd pillow would be ready in a few weeks. That was August 5th. since then Edwin promises the pillow shortly, soon, in 2 weeks, etc. I even went to his store on that day he said the pillow would be ready but the pillow is not done. now he ignores my calls and texts. I write this after 4 months of waiting. my recommendation is hold back money on his jobs until everything is complete.

It's a real community spot. The yarn selection ranges from standard go-tos like Berroco and Plymouth, to lovely stuff from Malabrigo and Juniper Moon Farm, to indie hand-dyes. The trend seems to be toward fashion colors and styles. I'm not exactly a fashionista myself, and I still find it easy to leave with creative choices. Right now it's a super yummy pima cotton dk yarn I'm using for a shawl, and next up I have a cozy soft 100% recycled yarn for a cardigan. The staff is so friendly and helpful that I'm not longer embarrassed by my newbie status -- Nancy and Miko are willing to take the time to explain things about yarn, and about knitting and crocheting. There's a huge selection of notions and yarns with samples of products in which they've been used -- which is helpful for choosing both materials and project. The prices are very fair and the knitting class I took was excellent. I don't live here year round but plan to visit the store for supplies and advice whenever I'm in town.
