Smiggle may sound like some sort of lewd sex act but it's actually a stationary store. Smiggle is the Justine Bieber of kid's stationary, and makes primary schoolers aged between five and twelve go weak at the knees. This is my daughter at Smiggle last week:
'Oh my gawwd it's a pencil sharpener shaped like a pig! Look at this rainbow banana scented rubber! This headphone looks like an octopus! I don't even know what this is! Arrrrrgh I want it all!'
Smiggle hysteria is a highly contagious condition and the only thing that cures it is store avoidance and the passing of time. But why cure them? The stuff is cheap and cute and it makes them want to draw, write, and do homework. If Smiggle is wrong I don't want to be right. read more
